AMANDA WIGGLESWORTH
Amanda Wigglesworth graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University, and after a decade as a professional artist continues to exhibit her work widely in Britain.
Using oils as well as more unusual materials- such as filler, paper and PVA- Wigglesworth’s paintings are driven by experimentation, transforming her works through a process of layering and scraping. The combination of vivid colour and a highly-textured surface allows a dynamic image to emerge- an exciting and challenging experience for the viewer.
