The location of the park, formerly the Harrover Property, is on Town of Haymarket property. Here's a little background. The town purchased this property from private owners (the Harrovers) in 2005 in an effort to preserve a portion of diminishing open space. The proposed park plans, slated to be executed in three phases over the next several years, include a pavilion building for multi-use. The architectural details for the new park buildings will conform to the structural look and feel of the existing Lewis Homes.
