Lack of fieldwork engagement would also impose a limitation to the study due to the government’s emergency policy of Movement Control Order towards managing COVID-19 pandemic. No direct engagement with the contextual situation waterfront development would impose difficulty in providing clear insights into flood-resilient implementation in the local built environment industry. It is also a limitation to find the existing stakeholder that has to involve in designing flood resilience development and gaining the permission to be interviewed, especially among developers and state authorities due to confidentiality and privacy of information.
