President's Message I would like to welcome you to the annual Home Builders Association of Lincoln’s Spring Parade of Homes. Your participation in the 2020 Spring Parade of Homes is greatly appreciated as the homes you visit have been the result of hours of hard work and determination by our talented builders, subcontractors, and material suppliers. Have you ever played the game desert island? If not, it’s a very simple game where each person goes around and shares with the group the five things they would take with them if they were trapped on a desert island. The last couple of months we have had to adjust to working from home, schooling at home, social distancing, and did I mention staying at home? Your home has become your real-life desert island. With this is mind, let’s switch the rules of the game. What are five things you would change about your house if you had to be deserted in your home for a couple of months. I am sure the quality time you have spent in your home has become an eyeopener to the blemishes present in your current home. Make a list of the top five changes you would make to your house and keep them in mind as you visit these wonderful homes. Share with us and ask questions about your top five changes and maybe we can help turn your desert island into a tropical paradise.
