Director’s message
We are incredibly proud of our amazing staff, an expansive collection of almost 5 million items, beautiful library buildings, and an award-winning website. Going forward, we will continue to extend services beyond our walls and into the community, invest in creating open and welcoming spaces in our libraries, and provide services that respond to the changing role of libraries and the evolving needs of patrons. Hennepin County Library remains committed to our role as a cornerstone of democracy and hope, where all are welcome, respected, valued, and included.
