Join Precinct 4’s Legacy Trees Project, the Spring Creek Education Society, and the Monarch Project Educational Initiative for a family-friendly scavenger hunt. Search the park using nature passports and clues to discover a variety of trees, plants, and wildlife. Bring a smartphone or tablet to scan QR codes throughout the park to learn more about each species.

NATIONAL ARBOR DAY Saturday, 9 a.m. – noon Pundt Park 4129 Spring Creek Dr., Spring All ages. Celebrate Arbor Day with a tree-planting extravaganza, invasive species removal, a tree identification walk, crafts, and more. Visit with a certified arborist, take home complimentary tree saplings while supplies last, and learn how you can foster a legacy tree.

Ages 16+ or accompanied by an adult. Join Precinct 4’s Legacy Trees Project to restore the banks and meadows along Spring Creek by volunteering to remove invasives like Chinese tallow and privet.
FOSTER A LEGACY TREE With your help, Precinct 4 can grow into a greener, healthier place to work and live. Volunteer to care for heirloom fruit and nut trees along the trails or help preserve history by fostering your own legacy tree. Schools, nonprofits, and Harris County Precinct 4 residents are invited to apply.
