19 NATIONAL BIKE DAY GUIDED TOUR Sunday, 8 a.m. Pundt Park 4129 Spring Creek Dr., Spring Ages 16+. Hit the trail for a 9-mile guided bike tour along the paved Spring Creek Greenway Trail. Bring your bike, refillable water bottle, and bike-appropriate clothes. Helmets are recommended.

Registration required. Ages 16+ or accompanied by adult. Learn the basics of turning sweet fruit, sourced from the Spring Creek Greenway, into a preserve to be enjoyed year-round. Begin with a short walk along the Spring Creek Greenway Trail, then head to Big Stone Lodge to make blackberry jam. Please bring a small jelly jar and wear comfortable closed-toe shoes.

30 ANIMAL INVADERS Saturday, 11 a.m. Kingwood Library 4400 Bens View Ln., Kingwood Ages 12+. Learn about exotic and invasive species that live in southeast Texas and how they affect our native wildlife.

11 TURTLES AND TORTOISES Thursday, 4:30 p.m. Octavia Fields Library 1503 S. Houston Ave., Humble All ages. Do you know the difference between a turtle and a tortoise? Learn about these unique reptiles and see live animals on exhibit.
FIRST SATURDAY PONTOON BOAT TOURS Saturdays, April 4, May 2, and June 6, 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 1 p.m. Jones Park 20634 Kenswick Dr., Humble Ages 13+. Take a tour along Spring Creek for a closer look at the local flora and fauna. Experience the park from a new perspective while learning about the area’s cultural history. Tours are dependent on weather and water conditions.
ADULT ARCHERY Tuesdays, April 7, 14, 21, and 28 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Mangum-Howell Center 2500 Frick Rd., Houston Ages 50+. Register by calling Mangum-Howell Center at 281-591-7830. Learn to shoot a bow and arrow or practice your aim. This program is designed for beginner archers with instruction from USA Archery-certified TAP staff who will cover safety rules, procedures, and proper technique. All equipment is provided.
WILDFLOWER WANDERINGS Fridays, April 3, 17, and 24, 9 a.m. Pundt Park 4129 Spring Creek Dr., Spring All ages. Wander through the park to discover blooming wildflowers. Then learn the different parts of a flower through a hands-on flower dissection activity.
