San Roque distingue a sus ciudadanos ilustres en el 317 aniversario de la Ciudad

El Pleno Institucional de Honores y Distinciones por el 317 aniversario de la Ciudad galardonó en el Teatro Juan Luis Galiardo a ciudadanos, empresas y colectivos del municipio. Se nombraron un Hijo Adoptivo de la Ciudad (a título póstumo), un Miembro Honorario de la Corporación, y trece Menciones de Honor: dos a sendos colectivos, otra a una empresa ya extinguida y a sus dos fundadores, una más a un matrimonio, y otras 9 a particulares, de las cuales dos han sido a título póstumo.

La Corporación Municipal en funciones, con el alcalde a la cabeza, asistió a este Pleno Institucional, en el que Ruiz Boix señaló que San Roque avanza y de la mano de la nueva Corporación avanzará en todas las barriadas del municipio, porque los 21 ediles van a buscar el mejor futuro para todos. En cuanto a las personas y entidades que recibieron estos reconocimientos, se trata de nombrar Hijo Adoptivo de la Ciudad (a título póstumo) a Jaime Cla- vijo Pérez; y Miembro Honorario de la Corporación a Lorenzo Pérez Rodríguez. Asimismo, se otorgaron trece Menciones de Honor, a Sebastián Díaz Gutiérrez; Verdemar Ecologistas en Acción; José Lorente Triviño; Manuel Palma Jiménez (a título póstumo); Matrimonio de Ana Esteban Ocaña y Alberto Cárdenas Bernal; Antonio Galdeano Romero; Francisca Martínez Alfaro; Cristobal Sampalo Jiménez; Asociación amas de casa “Constancia”; Hermanos Sánchez Márquez S.A. Em- presa Setter; Ana María Núñez Guzmán; Antonio Barrero Sánchez; y Francisco del Valle Vaca (a título póstumo). Finalizado el acto de entrega de galardones, el chelista sanroqueño Javier López Escalona y el pianista Miguel Monge interpretaron dos piezas musicales y continuaron con el Himno de Andalucía, como colofón del acto. En el acto se contó con la presencia de varias autoridades militares, de las fuerzas de Seguridad, el alcalde de Castellar, Adrián Vaca, y el coordina- dor de la Administración General del Estado, Francisco Gil. La Comisión Municipal de Honores y Distinciones acordó el pasado mes de febrero que, para no interferir en la campaña electoral de los comicios municipales del 28 de mayo, la celebración del tradicional Pleno Institucional por el Aniversario de la Ciudad tuviera lugar el jueves 1 de junio a las 19.00 horas. Esta decisión fue refrendada por unanimidad por el Pleno ordinario del mes de abril.

San Roque distinguishes its illustrious citizens on 317th anniversary of the city

The Institutional Plenary of Honours and Distinctions for the 317th anniversary of the City recognised citizens, companies and groups from the municipality at Teatro Juan Luis Galiardo. An Honorary Member of the Corporation was (posthumously) named an Adoptive Son of the City, and there were thirteen Mentions of Honour: two for groups, another for a now extinct company and its two founders, one more for a couple, and another 9 for private individuals, of which two were posthumous.

The acting Municipal Corporation, headed by the mayor, attended this Institutional Plenary, at which Ruiz Boix stated that San Roque is progressing and alongside the new Corporation it will progress in all neighbourhoods of the municipality, because the 21 councillors are going to seek the best future for everyone. With regard to the people and enti- ties who received these distinctions, the Adoptive Son of the City was awarded (posthumously) to Jaime Clavijo Pérez; and Lorenzo Pérez Rodríguez was named Honorary Member of the Corporation.

Likewise, thirteen Mentions of Honour were awarded, to Sebastián Díaz Gutíerrez; Verdemar Ecologists in Action; José Lorente Triviño; Manuel Palma Jiménez (posthumously); the Married Couple of Ana Esteban Ocaña and Alberto Cárdenas Bernal; Antonio Galdeano Romero; Francisca Martínez Alfaro; Cristobal Sampalo Jiménez; the “Constancia” Association of Housewives; Hermanos Sánchez Márquez S.A. the Company Setter; Ana María Núñez Guzmán; Antonio Barrero Sánchez; and Francisco del Valle Vaca (posthumously).

At the end of the awards ceremony, the San Roque cellist Javier López Escalona and the pianist Miguel Monge perfor- med two pieces of music and continued with the Hymn of Andalusia, to conclude the event. The event was attended by several authorities from the military, from the Security forces, the mayor of Castellar, Adrián

Vaca, and the coordinator of the General State Administration, Francisco Gil.

The Municipal Committee of Honours and Distinctions agreed in February that, in order not to interfere in the electoral campaigns of the municipal elections of 28 May, the celebration of the traditional Institutional Plenary for the Anniversary of the City took place on Thursday 1 June at 19:00. This decision was unanimously backed by the Ordinary Plenary held in April.
