Did you know that you can access resources like Lynda.com, The New York Times, and ReferenceUSA with your library card from the Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative (HCPLC)? Drop-in to Library Office Hours @ the Entrepreneur Collaborative Center on Wednesday, September 12 from 10 a.m. 12 p.m. to sign up for or renew your HCPLC library card. Bring a photo ID and proof of Hillsborough County residence. Learn more about FREE educational, entertainment and business development resources available to library card holders! Computer and Electronic Shredding Event The secure destruction of data is critical to preventing identity theft. In partnership with Urban E Recycling, the library is hosting a FREE computer and approved electronics shredding event. Bring your hard drives, cell phones, tablets, and more to be shredded in the parking lot at Jimmie B. Keel Regional Library. Certificates of destruction will be provided upon request. This event is presented as part of National Cyber Awareness Month, a national campaign to raise awareness about the importance of cyber security.
