CREATING A PRODUCT PROTOTYPE If you're inventing a product, one of the essential steps can be creating a prototype. Making a three-dimensional version of your idea can be a rewarding step for any entrepreneur. It's an opportunity to see your idea transformed into something tangible. Here are a few things to consider:

1. Will this help others see your vision? You'll have something to show your potential customers and business partners.

2. Are you able to test and refine your idea? Test the functionality of your product. You'll never know possible design issues and challenges until you take your idea from theory to reality.

3. Where can this be created? You can start by making your prototype with households items or take your idea to professionals, like engineers and designers. Another option is checking out a library 3D printing program! We can walk you through the process and show you how to create your own 3D objects. Find an upcoming program at your library.
