Who are you worshiping? True Worship Belongs to God Exodus 34:8 Moses immediately fell to the ground and worshiped. Why did Moses drop to his knees to worship the lord he knew God had called him to serve? This means all need to Drop to our knees and Worship our Lord giving him the glory and praise that is a form of worship how many of us do that today? 2 Kings 17:36 Worship only the Lord, who brought you out of Egypt with such mighty miracles and power. You must worship him and bow before him; offer sacrifices to him alone. Ok for one moment think about this, what are the many ways we can give worship one way I give my worship is by serving others by praying some by song like I said when we worship are doing unto our lord & we owe him that much after all he did lay down His life for us & therefor we need to drop to are knees and worship the Lord. 1 Chronicles 16:29 Give to the Lord the glory he de-
serves! Bring your offering and come to worship him. Worship the Lord in his entire holy splendor. When we look at How God Sacrificed for our sins He Was put on the Cross and all he is asking us to do is Worship look at the world today where they worship Singers Actor’s or actresses or realty Stars when we start to worshiping man or women we lose sight of God when you worship this others things that is not Good. Psalm 145:3 Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! His greatness is beyond discovery! Look at it this way and it is wrong you have these stars in the world that think they are worthy then God Himself When you think that way you become the problem of what’s wrong with this world. Isaiah 66:1-2 This is what the Lord says: “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Could you ever build me a temple as good as
that? Could you build a dwelling place for me? My hands have made both heaven and earth, and they are mine. I, the Lord, have spoken! I will bless those who have humble and contrite hearts, who tremble at my word.” What should are goal be on earth be? I like how god put this in words the earth is my footstool but what He wants out of us is to build that temple and the temple is what _______? You & Jesus knows what is best for the temple See God is the thrown we are the temple so why are some praying to other Gods?? There is ONLY one God. I know I will be getting emails about this one but we have to understand many things are manmade when we worship man mad things we are doing wrong, I have seen some worship statues & idols& Stars, that will not get you into the heaven’ or when you worship a false God that will not get you into Heaven so we got to define the word worship. 1 Kings 8:10-11 As the priests came out of the inner sanctuary, a cloud filled the Temple of the

Lord. The priests could not continue their work because the glorious presence of the Lord filled the Temple. God meets with his people in Look a powerful way when they worship him together. Did he not meet with the disciples does he not try to have a relationship with you Here is something thy will get you to think Public corporate worship gives God’s people an important opportunity to hear his word proclaimed and to learn about God and his ways. Psalm 5:7 Because of your unfailing love, I can enter your house; with deepest awe I will worship at your Temple. I know my goal is to one day worship in the house Gods in that is heaven & because of an unfailing love I will Someday. Psalm 47:7 God is the King over all the earth. Praise him with a psalm! Can’t add anything to this it says it straight out. Psalm 95:1 Come; let us sing to the Lord! Let us give a joyous shout to the rock of our salvation! Let me ask this you ever been driving in your Car a song comes on your happy joyful & happy & you sing it no matter who’s looking at you then why do you not have the same joy for Je-
sus ?. Isaiah 6:3 In a great chorus they sang, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord almighty! The whole earth is filled with his glory!” When was the last time you sang this song & meant it? Worship is a fitting response to God’s holiness, power, and grace. My thought Matthew 14:33 Then the disciples worshiped him. “You really are the son of God!” they exclaimed. Why do some not get that Jesus is real did he not prove many for you or I to believe think about that! Revelation 5:11-12 I looked again, and I heard the singing of thousands and millions of angels around the throne and the living beings and the elders. And they sang in a mighty chorus: “The Lamb is worthy-the Lamb who was killed. He is worthy to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing. Now this is where I will be getting letters again but that’s ok I got to speak the truth See Revelation says it straight out and it is the truth. But in 20thousand & fifteen we got lost in these big churches with feel good messages And they are not doing what the Lord has asked us to do & that is to speak the truth about everything in the word of God. Thought our worship of God is a foretaste of Heaven. Deuteronomy 11:16 Do not let your heart turn away from the Lord to
worship other gods. See this says it right here the truth do not let your heart turn away from the lord but some churches are doing just that they are preaching about Money houses cars And ignoring the real word the real truth. Revelation 22:9 He said, “No, don’t worship me. I am a servant of God, just like you and your brothers the prophets, as well as all who obey what is written in this scroll. Worship God,” The other thing is that some today are worshiping other Gods other idol’s that is a No, No. Thoughts when we enter God’s presence in worship, we should recognize that we are standing on holy ground. Psalm 35:18 I will thank you in front of the entire congregation. I will praise you before all the people. Our worship should include giving praise and thanks to God for what he has done. Are you? Psalm 30:4 Sing to the Lord, all you godly ones Praise his holy name. Stop praising idol’s Stop praising false Gods Stop praising Stars. Stop praising realities Stars. Psalm 147:1 Praise the Lord! How good it is to sing praises to our God! How delightful and how right! My life as a Christian is makes me happy & I sing & sing praises to the lord. music to the Lord in your hearts. I love sing hymns & songs to the lord I been in health battles & when I sing or make music to the lord there is no better joy. A thought Why is Singing an important part of our worship to God ……..Question? Your thoughts: Why Does God give some of us gifts of music or singing? Some have great gifts but they do not use them you need to use them. Psalm 150:3-5 Praise him with a blast of the trumpet; praise him with the lyre and harp! Praise him with the tambourine and dancing; praise him with stringed instruments and flutes! Praise him with a clash of cymbals; praise him with loud clanging cymbals. I may not have a gift of any of this but I give my all to God Pastors thoughts Why Does Musical instruments play an important role in our worship Question? 1 Chronicles 13:8 David and all Israel were celebrating before God with all their might, singing and playing all kinds of musical instruments –lyres, harps, tambourines, cymbals, and trumpets. Pastors thoughts Worship can take the form of a joyous celebration with instruments of music. 1 Chronicles 15:16 David also ordered the Levite leaders to appoint a choir of Levites who were singers and musicians to sing joyful songs to the accompaniment of lyres, harps, and cymbal Worship leaders can help guides God’s people in worship. Psalm 95:6 Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
Pastors Question Is Kneeling and bowing are appropriate postures for worship think about it Like I said there is many ways to worship and there is a long list of them from singing to bowing down Jesus & giving him everything you have Hebrews 12:28 Since we are receiving a Kingdom that cannot be destroyed, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe. How can I make the words any clearer then this verse? 1Timothy 2:8 Wherever you assemble, I want men to pray with hands lifted up to God, free from anger and controversy When the last time you gave our lord is praises? When was the last time you raised your arms up to him. The Lord’s Supper is both an act of worship to God and an act of fellowship among believers. Revelation 15:4 Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous deeds have been revealed.
