In Today’s World Prayer is vital not only For our walk but our survival When you think about the world or things going on in the world you got to pray look at the world you need to pray take a good look what’s going on it does hurt to see bad things on the news every day.

Matthew 7:7, 8 Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that ask and you shall receive; and he that seek and you shall find and to him that knock and it shall be opened.

Let me ask you this when was the last time you prayed &don’t you think you need to pray look what’s going on & don’t you think it time we start. Here is the thing you ever go to the store to get something but you don’t open your mouth how do you

think they’re going to know what you want. Read this verse & knock or ask that the only way to get things.

Matthew 21:22\ And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

We all go through trials & look at the world but if you believe in the lord & you pray the Lord has your back through all things & I mean that.

1John 5:14, 15 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Therefore have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

This is where I speak my mind Don’t just ask for something out of greed or worldly needs because that is not what Jesus is for, not for your wish list NO. he is here to take care of needs that we run across (Not) to Grant you wishes if someone you love is ill or hurting or has a trial that is hard for someone to get through.

That is the time you Go to Him, here is another thing someone one said that I may not be right with the lord because I a.m. not healed yet, No that is not the reason I will be healed but I need to wait on the lord is says that in the verse.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availed much.

Yep you are about to get more strait talk if you done something wrong like had an affair on your wife or husband & you just say I’m sorry to the lord I got to be truthful to you that won’t cut it. The lord wants to heal you from what you did you

not only got to seek council but truly go to the father I seen some out there that sin & did not think twice about it that is not what we do when we walk with the lord We need to be obedient & righteous with the Lord.

John 14:13, 14 And whatsoever ye shall ask, in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Again like I said don’t just go to God to get your wish list taken care of No that not how we do it & that is not how it works Ask but make sure it is needed for you to keep a good walk with God Ask if anything for the lord to make you a better Christian to help others to pray for other remember it is not about are self’s when it comes to the Lord it should be praying for others right that is what it’s all about.

Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou pray enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which sees in secret shall reward thee openly.

Let me ask you this when was the last time you went into the prayer closet? When was the last time you got on your

knees to pray? When was the last time you just spent you & Jesus Time?

These things are what get you through the bad times the sad times & helps you when you are dealing with trials & tribulations.

Psalm 91:15 And call upon me, and I will answer him...

There are times with my health that I’m uncertain what the next day brings but I call upon Jesus & He does Answer Me & yes Ask Him He will answer you also.

Isaiah 58:9 Then shall thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shall cry, and he shall say, here I am.

This verse confirms what I just said before this verse we do live in a nation of uncertainty And when we do not know what may become tomorrow that is why in order for us to survive you need a backup plan my is praying what is Yours ?

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

I want you to hear me, when I say this I been counseling some that have lost a loved one if it be an illness or death I

always tell them do not hold it in but Go to the Lord the other thing is I had a few who talked about their son or grandson who had been murdered & there question to me is how do I go to the lord or forgive those who did bad to their loved ones & here is what I say to them Read this verse Below.

Psalm 34:17 The righteous cry and the Lord hear, and deliver them out of all their troubles.

See deeply only Jesus can heal that Broken Heart only Jesus can heal lay at his feet & ask Him look we all deal with one thing or another.

Psalm 55:17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

I wake up in the morning & go to bed at night & Prayer is the first thing I do & the last thing I do what about you?

Matthew 6:8 Be not yet therefore like unto them: for your Father knows what things ye have need of,

before ye ask him.

Like I said don’t be greedy & ask for just anything make sure it is one that god approves.

1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

Think about that verse & I mean that because if you keep the commandment’s He will Take care of you look we know what the world has to offer but I say look at what God offers Amen everything you see from myself or Pastor miller has come together because we go to God in prayer example the Big heart foundation the Senior Call Center did not just come together over night but came together by prayer please Hear me you need to pray for the country this county like I said we are in uncertain days & we need to pray look around you open your eyes !
