Mission The Parent Involvement program mission is to strengthen the education partnership of parents, school staff and community members in the best interests of students’ learning and achievement.

Program Adults who care for children can borrow books, CDs, DVDs and games through the Parent Resource Center. These materials feature a wide variety of helpful topics regarding child and teen development and parenting issues. Materials are available at the Educational Services Center or online at www.ahschools.us/prc.

The Parent Involvement program also assists parent-teacher organizations and booster clubs in effective organizational management by providing group consultations and producing newsletters and handbooks to support their effectiveness. Volunteer programs in each Anoka-Hennepin school match the talent of parents and citizens with opportunities to support classroom goals, talent development activities, the school office, after-school activities, and take-home projects.
