His Name.
His Backstory.
Sun Wukong Soh-n Woo-koh-ng
Referred to as the Monkey King
Sun Wukong was born from a rock, and after practicing Taoist teachings, acquired spiritual and mystical powers. However, given his naturally defiant nature, he rebelled against heaven and was sealed by the Buddha for all eternity. In the original story, he is freed by Tang Seng.
Outfit Breakdown.

Wukong wears a full suit of gold-plated armor with special padding for added protection. He is always ready for battle, so he rarely changes from this outfit. He is also forced to wear a gold headband that can be used to control him when his antics get out of hand.
Travel to the Avatar Mountains in Zhangjiajie and find the sealed, crimson mountain. This mountain is notable for its red hue and is covered in talismans. Once there, you must free Sun Wukong, and you have three tries to do so; unlock him in one try for the most points and rewards.

His Weapon.
Sun Wukong is a SS-Ranked character and possesses many skills—immense strength, martial arts, speed and magical powers that allow him to make infinite copies of himself. He also possesses a very strong sense of humor.
His only weapon is his Golden Staff that can shrink or grow in size. When using his staff, he is practically unstoppable against most D-Rank to S-Rank monsters. Since he was “born,” he has had this weapon in hand.

Sun Wukong Sticker
His collectible is a Chinese Floating Cloud. These clouds can be used to travel to different locations within the game, and they are useful when you need to make a speedy escape. They are earned after completing missions and side quests, but each cloud can only be used once.

His Name.
His Backstory.
Zhu Bajie Zhoo Bah-jee-ayh Referred to as the Redeemed Glutton
Zhu Bajie was once a mid-level demon and enjoyed stealing food from restaurants and seducing women. After years of traveling around, killing humans and monsters alike, he met Tang Seng and Sun Wukong and changed his ways overnight. He regards Sun Wukong as his greatest ally.
Outfit Breakdown.

He is often seen wearing a loose-fitting robe. Because of his eating habits (and constant sweating), he will only wear clothing that can be easily adjusted or taken off. Due to Zhu Bajie’s admiration for Wukong, his hat’s silver wrap mimics Wukong’s golden headband.
Travel to the Ba Territory Night Market and find the Baozi stand. At midnight, the stand’s lantern will begin to emit a golden hue. Once there, you and Sun Wukong must devise a way to lure Zhu Bajie away from the stand and convince him to join your group. You have three tries to succeed.

His Weapon.
Zhu Bajie is an S-Ranked character, and contrary to his appearance, he is incredibly strong and fast, which makes him a formidable opponent against D-Rank to A-Rank monsters. His constant hunger also fuels his rage.
He fights with his infamous Nine-Toothed Rake; the rake’s teeth are also imbued with a special curse that will render his enemy unable to sleep for the rest of their lives, which is what Zhu Bajie considers to be the cruelest form of torture.

Zhu Bajie Sticker
His collectible is a Chinese Gold Nugget. These nuggets can be used to purchase rare weapons and potions that are available at special locations throughout the game. Zhu Bajie often steals money from unsuspecting civilians as you play, but you also earn them upon completing missions.

Her Name.
Her Backstory.
Bai Suzhen Bye Suu-zheuhn
Referred to as the Immortal White Snake
Bai Suzhen was a white snake spirit and gained powers after consuming immortality pills. She fell in love with a young man named Xu Xian; however, she was sealed in a temple for eternity by an angry monk. Her husband stayed outside and cared for the temple until he passed.

She wears a popular style of traditional hanfu, which is inspired by the creator’s own hanfu. Hanfu is very elegant and often accentuates one’s small frame due to its large sleeves and skirt. Furthermore, she dons a jade headpiece gifted from her late husband.
Travel to Leifeng Pagoda, where she is sealed, and find the massive jade doors that keep her trapped. The jade doors will be shrouded in white cloth and mist. Once at the sealed doors, you must free her within three tries. Free her in one try to unlock special attributes and rewards.

Bai Suzhen is an A-Ranked character. She is well-versed in Taoist magical and martial arts, which is owed to her years of training, and will not take damage from any C- or D-Rank monster due to having consumed immortality pills.
Her notable “weapon” is her ability to shape shift into a giant white snake. In this form, she can travel at immense speeds. Her scales are also impenetrable, making her an indispensable component of your team’s defense.

Bai Suzhen Sticker
Her collectible is a Monk Bead Necklace made of special, green jade. These monk beads contain regenerative magic, which can heal characters (except the Sword Saint) once 50% of their HP has been lost. They are earned after completing hidden missions and have unlimited uses.

Huli Jing Hoo-lee Jee-ng
Referred to as the Benevolent Vixen
Huli Jing used to live in the wilderness surrounding Jin City with the rest of her family. She and her sisters would travel to the inner city and prey on burnt out male students studying to become government officials. Her family was eventually wiped out, leaving her the last of her kind.
Outfit Breakdown.
Unlock Her.
She wears another popular style of hanfu, which features a longer skirt that rises above the breast bone. Her style of hanfu makes her seem more innocent and childish, rather than elegant. Many of her fox features are also apparent even in her human form.
Travel to the Jin City National Library and sneak into the building around midnight. Once inside, turn on a lamp near the south side of the building and pose as a male student to lure her out and strike a deal. You will only have two tries to succeed this time or she will disappear.

Her Weapon.
Huli Jing is an A-Ranked character. She is immortal, which is owed to her parents sacrificing themselves to save her from hunters, has strong magical powers, and will not take damage from any D- to S-Ranked monster.
Like Bai Suzhen, her weapon is her ability to shape shift. Her spiritual being takes the form of a Nine-Tailed Fox capable of traveling at immense speeds and using cursed flames that render opponents immobile.

Her collectible is a Traditional Chinese Notebook, which is often imbued with negative energy from its previous users. Once obtained, players instantly learn any skills or information included in the notebooks. They are only earned after completing side quests.

Her Backstory.
Baigujing Bye Goo-jee-ng
Referred to as the White Bone Spirit
Baigujing was once a skeleton that eventually became a powerful demoness. After roaming the Earth for thousands of years, she obtained many powers. She is known for wiping out entire villages on a whim and is the mortal enemy of Sun Wukong and Tang Seng.
Outfit Breakdown.
Battle Her.
She wears a much more intricate and extravagant form of hanfu, which is often worn by royalty or nobility. Her overall look heavily features references to death through Chinese characters or flower imagery. She also enjoys taking accessories from defeated enemies.
She is the final boss, and players will have the chance to battle her after completing all nine missions and two hidden quests. You have four tries to defeat her; if you cannot defeat her, the game will automatically reset. There are three possible endings after the game is completed.

Baigujing is the only SSS-Ranked character in the game, and her skills are unmatched. Given her strength, many monsters, from both low and high ranks, have joined her side out of fear and will give their lives to protect her.
She can shape shift into a massive skeleton, has an infinite number of curses at her disposal, and sits on an unbreakable throne made of bones and obsidian. She is also a brilliant tactician and seems to always be one step ahead.

Baigujing Sticker
Her “collectible” is a human skull. These are taken from her prey and imbued with curses. If hit by one, you will instantly lost 50% of your HP, and if you die at her hands, she will take your skull for her collection. She is also said to have millions of skulls in her collection.

The Light Healer
Class: Healer/Mage Starting HP: 175 Primary Attributes: High spiritual energy, well-versed in healing potions and elixirs Weaknesses: Must consume special elixir every day to maintain healing abilities Starts off as D-Rank. Level can increase to SS-Rank.

The Sword Saint
Class: Swordsman Starting HP: 250 Primary Attributes: Strong sword energy, immense speed and strength, high HP Weaknesses: Low affinity for spiritual energy and healing magic, takes more XP to level up Starts off as D-Rank. Level can increase to SSS-Rank.
The Dark Healer
Class: Healer/Mage Starting HP: 150 Primary Attributes: High spiritual energy, well-versed in poisons, can steal HP from foes Weaknesses: Cannot use healing magic, must consume elixir to maintain spiritual energy Starts off as D-Rank. Level can increase to SS-Rank.
