Fire services are keen to ensure that their workforce reflect the local communities they will work in and so welcome enquiries from everyone. No previous experience is necessary, but applicants must: • Be aged over 18. • Have a good level of all-round fitness. • Have a good standard of eyesight and hearing. • Commit to a weekly two-hour training session.

Open Sessions

Thank you to all the families who came to visit school on one of our open sessions. It was lovely to meet you and we hope you enjoyed seeing the wide range of activities we are able to offer in addition to the national curriculum. If you didn’t manage to visit, you are welcome to make an appointment and our Year 6 pupils will happily show you around.

Pupil Voice

In the summer term each year, pupils in Year 5 apply for the positions of head boy and head girl for the forthcoming year. They are interviewed by myself and the current head boy and girl – this gives them a really good idea of what it will be like when they are older to apply for a job as well as developing confidence and self-esteem.
