As we near the end of another unusual year, let’s be hopeful for the next. There was so much positivity when we welcomed our groups back last month and so let’s all look forward to the New Year and beyond!

Author Event - Angela Norris Tues 7th Dec, 2:00pm

We are welcoming back popular local author Angela Norris who will be giving a talk on her new book ‘That’s News to Me’ sharing tales and memoirs as a rural reporter back in the 1970s. Festive refreshments will be available. This is a free event, however booking is essential as places are limited. Please ask on your next visit.

Storytime Every Monday 10:30am

Digital Access

Free internet access is available using our public network computers, as well as our printing and photocopying services, and also a study area with free access to WiFi.

Home Library Service

For those in the community who are unable to visit the library because of poor health, we offer the home library service, where we pack a choice of books and our volunteers will deliver to the door. We are operating with strict measures in place. This is a service which is proving more vital than ever before so if you would like to be part of this, do please contact the library. We are happy to help!

FOKEL (Friends of Knott End Library) Christmas Coffee & Mince Pie morning Sat 4th Dec 10:00am - 12 noon

We are back! We hope you can join us for drinks, mince pies, Christmas songs (performed by Fleetwood’s Charity School), bran tub and lots of Christmas cheer – Christmas jumpers optional! If you would like to help us raise funds for the library and support their initiatives we meet on the third Monday of each month at 11:00am at the library. Next meeting: Mon 20th Dec.
