LCW Netherlands moving to Maastricht for 2025 will bring a fresh vibe to the event. Maastricht’s beautiful landscape and historic charm, combined with those flat courses, should make for a scenic and fast race. It’s also a perfect setting for athletes and spectators alike.

Our events would not be possible without our incredible, unstoppable army of dedicated volunteers.

Being a member of our volunteer crew will stick you right in the thick of some of the largest and most exciting sporting events of their kind in Wales - and you’ll have a front seat view of all the action.

You could find yourself staffing one of our feed stations and ensuring our athletes are kept well-fuelled, helping athletes register at our events or marshalling on one of our epic courses. Regardless of how you end up helping out, we’re sure you’ll have fun, meet loads of amazing people and have an unforgettable experience.

It doesn’t end there either. You’ll get your own special crew tee for each event and we’ll keep you fed throughout the day. You’ll also gain access to our rewards scheme so you can bag some extra swag.

Are you part of a team or club? If you can gather a group of 10 or more (aged 16 and over), we’ll donate £400 to your cause. Gather 25 or more and we’ll donate sports kit for your team.

Build your club championship. You bring the entries, we’ll do the rest.

Club Branding on the Event Gantry: Make your club feel like the stars of the show! We’ll proudly display your club’s branding on the gantry, giving your team an extra boost as they cross the finish line.

Presentation Ceremony: Stick around for the celebration! After the race, we’ll host a special presentation ceremony for your club, making sure your hard work is recognized and celebrated in style.

It’s time to see how much of an effect “just one more mince pie” has had on your performance this year with our season opener and athlete fave! This is a great choice if you’re a first-timer or if you’re looking to ease yourself into the season. After great success last year we have kept the early slot for the event and also added in a new olympic distance. An evolution of Mumbles Triathlon, this is one of our most popular events and for our 2025 edition, we’re looking forward to bigger crowds, warmer weather and a cracking day of racing. One of our fastest growing events, Swansea Swim will see hundreds of swimmers take to The Prince Of Wales Dock, right in the heart of the city. This event attracts incredible spectator support and also acts as an ideal warm up for Swansea Triathlon taking place the following day.

This is also the perfect practice swim for Ironman Swansea later in the year, if you’re into that kind of thing - we won’t judge you.

This is a great option for family members of athletes taking part in the Swansea Triathlon who want a taste of the action but don’t fancy a triathlon or are interested in starting their fitness journey.

Boasting what we’d call an absolute stunner of a course, Wales Triathlon takes in the world famous Pembrokeshire Coast via a sheltered harbour swim leg, a fast-paced closed-road bike leg and a run course that’s as beautiful as it is sadistic.

Wales’ biggest open-water swim / Spectacular start with fireworks and live DJ / World-class spectator support

This event is epic in every sense. A mass start kicks off the swim with fireworks and HUGE crowds leading one athlete to say “I thought I was at the start of Saving Private Ryan but there was a DJ”. Ellerton Park is renowned as "the cleanest lake in the North of England for open water swimming." As our last UK-based triathlon race of the year, we like to end the season with the biggest bang we possibly can, because we all deserve it. Setting the sleepy seaside town of Saundersfoot on fire (metaphorically speaking, though there is a lot of pyrotechnics involved) with a bouncing party atmosphere, huge crowds and an evening start time that’ll see many athletes party on into the night postrace - this is the one you absolutely don’t want to miss.
