SHOWIT'STIME
ESCAPE TO THE COUNTRY
Here at Coastal Cottages, we’ve been particularly busy in recent months what with Race for Life and a day out at Cardiff Blues Summerfest, but the highlight of our adventures has to be our time spent at the Pembrokeshire County Show.
This August, the Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society organised the first full-scale County Show since 2019 and to show our support for its return, we committed to sponsoring the Members & Sponsors Marquee at the event.
Delve into some of the UK’s most outstanding green spaces with a holiday in Pembrokeshire’s most rural settings and enjoy a therapeutic break with a medley of adventures at your fingertips.
This event is one of the largest in the local events calendar with hundreds of stallholders taking over Haverfordwest Showground, even more visitors walking the aisles browsing gifts and tucking into delicious local produce plus resident farmers and horseriders attending with their prize animals on show. Traditionally, the County Show is known to be a three-day event but this year’s display took place across two days; Wednesday
17th and Thursday 18th August - and we were there for both!
Choosing to support the Members & Sponsors Marquee was a no-brainer for us; not only did it show our support for this family-friendly event but it allowed us a small space to welcome along many members of our extended Coastal Cottages team. We hosted an informal Champagne Reception each day to raise a toast to the many owners, contractors and local providers we work with to bring you, our guests, the excellent personal and professional service we always strive to.
Of course, we couldn’t resist leaving things there. If you follow us on social (Instagram, Facebook & Twitter), then you’ll know by now that we’ve invested in a giant deckchair this year. After all, who doesn’t love a giant deckchair? Naturally, we couldn’t resist bringing it along and it’s a good job we did because within moments of us setting it up on Wednesday morning, we had our first visitors to the big chair!
We had an absolute ball chatting with all the visitors who passed us by and took selfies in our deckchair, plus we managed to escape the stand for a few moments to have a wander around and soak in the wonderful summer atmosphere at this event. And we sampled some mouth-watering local produce of course; freshly made cakes from Emburs in Pembroke, hand-crafted beers from Victoria Inn Brewery and ice creams from Llaeth Preseli to name just a few.
It was also fantastic to see the vintage vehicles parked up with classic cars and restored working tractors on show, as well as dog agility sessions and bird of prey displays. Being an agricultural show, the Pembrokeshire County Show celebrates all things farming with a huge emphasis on local and community. Thus it’s no surprise that a favourite for many is the horse jumping and livestock displays. There was of course plenty of singing and dancing with performances from local musicians, groups and dance troupes at the Pure West Radio stage too.
The Pembrokeshire County Show has been a staple of the local events calendar for as long as we here at Coastal Cottages have been in business, and a bit longer than that too! So it really was marvellous to have the date back in the diary once more. Looking forward to 2023 already!

LIFEFORRACE
As part of our 40th celebrations this year, we gathered together a team of ten people to take part in the 2022 Pembrokeshire Race For Life. The event. which took place on 22nd June at Oakwood Theme Park, saw roughly 250 people take part in the evening 5k raising some £20,000 in total so far.
Delve into some of the UK’s most outstanding green spaces with a holiday in Pembrokeshire’s most rural settings and enjoy a therapeutic break with a medley of adventures at your fingertips.
We couldn't have asked for better weather; the sun was shining, there was not a cloud in the sky and the atmosphere throughout this event was electric. As a team at Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire, we arrived at the venue early to set up our exhibition stand and our giant deckchair - a popular feature at the start line!
We gathered around the stage by the start line to hear some inspirational words and stories from cancer survivors before kicking up our knees in a Mr Motivator-style warm-up which had the entire crowd laughing and sweating before we had even set off.
With that, the crowd was split into two - the runners and the walkers. The sound of horns marked the start of the race and we were off. The 5k route proceeded to be two laps around the closed theme park, taking us past the empty rides we all know and love such as Megaphobia, Bounce, Treetops and Snake River Falls - plus the Pirate Ship of course!
Members of the Pembrokeshire Rotary Clubs lined the streets as marshals making sure everyone kept on the right track and everyone received applause as we each crossed the finish line, where we were presented with medals and a snack as a hearty well done.
As congratulations to all participants, volunteers and staff who organised the event; we were handing out glasses of fizz for all from our Coastal Cottages stand with another chance to take a seat on the deckchair and selfies at the "We Did It" station before heading off home.
We would like to thank Sophie and the team at CRUK for organising such a brilliant event and also to everyone who came along and made it such a fun evening. We're already looking at other events our team can join in with!
Here at Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire, we're aiming to raise as much money as we can for Cancer Research UK so that they can continue with the incredible work and research they do towards ending the battle against cancer. We would sincerely appreciate it if you would help support us in our fundraising journey by heading over to our online fundraising page to donate.

OUR TOP 10 THINGS TO DO IN AUTUMN
To help you plan the very best autumnal break in Pembrokeshire, we've compiled this list of all our favourite things to do at this time of year. Use this as a sort of bucket list, if you will, to fully embrace the season by celebrating all those things these months are made for; hearty soups, the changing colours of the landscape and of course, Halloween. your way around Narberth Food Festival
You’d best bring a hearty appetite with you for this one as the produce on offer is extensive and delicious. Think local and Welsh food at its best with hot and cold stallholders selling mouthwatering meals and snacks, plus plenty of cookery demonstrations from well-known chefs sharing their top tips.
It’s a weekend-long event held annually towards the end of September. Make sure to keep some room in the car for you’ll undoubtedly purchase some great edible gifts for loved ones back home.
Explore those autumnal colours
Whilst we often recommend heading to the coastline, for reasons that needn’t be explained, autumn is certainly a time to head inland in search of those locations you might not usually explore. Head to the woodlands for crunchy leaves underfoot and blankets of oranges, reds and yellows overhead as the trees change colours throughout the season.
Try Minwear Woods near Haverfordwest or Ty Canol near Newport, where you can sightsee Pentre Ifan too. Just make sure to wear your walking boots as pathways may be somewhat damp and muddy.
Tour the emptier shorelines
Planning an out-of-season getaway to Pembrokeshire has several perks but the number one advantage over staying in the summer holidays has to be the fewer crowds. Depending on what dates and location you choose, you might even be truly spoilt with no crowds at all.
Enjoy a bit more breathing space on the popular bays like Tenby North beach or find yourself completely alone on lesser-known beaches like Traeth Llyfn.
Go seal pup spotting
The coastline might be quieter in terms of people, but you can bet it’s busier in terms of wildlife. Come September, various inlets and inaccessible (to pedestrians) coves become awash with fluffy white seal pups as this is the breeding season for Atlantic Grey Seals.
Take a boat trip across to Ramsey or walk the Coast Path to spot these baby seals in their natural habitats, just make sure to safely admire them from a distance as the parent seals are often only in the shallows collecting food for their pups.
Join the Halloween celebrations
Pembrokeshire always has plenty of things going on to help you embrace the spooky season, particularly throughout October Half Term. Spend family days out somewhere like Castell Henllys for fireside scary stories, take a guided ghost tour of Carew Castle at dusk or ride the ghost train at Gwili Steam Railway.
One of the most favoured days out in the autumn is the day spent at one of the local pumpkin patches. Wander through the fields strewn with large orange pumpkins in search of your favourite, will you look for a perfectly round one or do you prefer your vegetables to be one-of-a-kind?
Try Pembrokeshire Pumpkin Farm or Good Hook Pumpkins for a great child friendly day out.
For around two weeks every October, The Torch Theatre Company hosts their own stage production of a well-known story. Past productions include "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "The Woman in Black".
This independent theatre often sees packed audiences take to their seats during the run so if you fancy adding a little culture to your seaside getaway, booking tickets to this annual event is highly recommended.
The 2022 production is "Of Mice & Men" and takes place between the 5th and 22nd October. Head to The Torch Theatre website to book tickets - whilst you still can!
Book tickets for The Torch Theatre FishguardproductionCawlCrawl
Cawl is one of Wales’ most traditional meals; think large bowls of piping hot soup bursting with chunky stewed vegetables and the butcher’s best beef. The Cawl Crawl is almost as it sounds, a “crawl” through the town from venue to venue tasting bowls of homecooked cawl along the way.
Various establishments from Fishguard and Goodwick provide dishes made from their own recipes then tasters buy a bowl which is filled up at each venue.
Once the taste test has been completed, all the tasters vote for their for their favourite and the venue with the most votes, wins. It’s a must for any foodie.
Enjoy live music at Tenby Blues Fest
How good does the idea of live music in one of Pembrokeshire’s best-known holiday destinations sound? And for a whole weekend too! Tenby Blues Festival takes place every November and takes over the town with a plethora of blues performances in various venues.
Whilst a handful of the events are ticketed (so make sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment), many are free as part of the incredible Blues Trail which sees pubs, restaurants and more act as pop-up music venues.
Celebrate Guy Fawkes Night
Only a matter of days after Halloween comes Bonfire Night, arguably one of the main highlights of the autumn. Wrap up warm (perhaps with your new knit? See below) and head out for one of the region’s best fireworks displays where you can dine on hot dogs, light a sparkler or maybe even win yourself a toy at the Milfordfunfair.Haven,
Carmarthen and Haverfordwest are some of the largest displays in Pembrokeshire whilst Solva usually has a particularly pretty show over the harbour. Saundersfoot usually combines Halloween and Guy Fawkes celebrations as part of their weekendlong Big Bang Weekend.
Tour a woollen mill
If you adore the autumnal months then you’re likely to also appreciate a cosy knit too. And where better to purchase a new one for the season than at a local woollen mill where you’ve seen the inner workings of the manufacturing Discoverprocess?
the remarkable behind-the-scenes at Tregwynt Woollen Mill near Abermawr or Solva Woollen Mill before browsing the shop for your next piece of knitwear, guaranteed to keep you warm and toasty - particularly when you’re curling up in front of a roaring fire on a rainy day.
Hidden away down a quiet street in Upper Solva is Awel Y Mor, an inviting bungalow awarded with rooftop sea views towards St Brides Bay. Expect a clean and homely base for quiet getaways, fun-filled weeks of adventures or culture breaks exploring the wider
Thispeninsula.charming
harbourside village is a favourite holiday destination among many and it’s clear to see why with a superb selection of eateries, shops and art galleries all within walking distance of the pretty inlet. Enjoy homecooked meals at the local pubs where the fires are roaring or pick up the freshest local fruit and veg from Bay Views Stores or St Davids Farmers Market to cook up a hearty soup in Awel Y Mor’s compact kitchen.
Stroll the empty sands at the likes of Caerfai, Porthmynawyd and Pen Y Cwm beaches or enjoy a little more space for surfing and kayaking at Whitesands and
Newgale, as out of season breaks go hand in hand with fewer crowds. Catch a boat trip to Ramsey to see seabirds and Atlantic grey seals in their natural habitat or hike the Coast Path where you may not even pass by another soul.
Awel Y Mor provides a stylish and comfortable retreat no matter how you spend your days, with practical laminate flooring throughout and an open-plan living space. From here and the master bedroom, you can open up the French doors onto the large decked patio with garden furniture. Pop on the kettle, wrap up warm and take a seat here to watch the annual fireworks display for Guy Fawkes Night, it’s one of the best in the county.

THE ULTI-MUTT
PLAYGROUND
Why plan a dog friendly holiday to Pembrokeshire? Well, the answer to that question is endless. Canines are explorers at heart, with inquisitive minds, so the open landscape of undulating countryside and the chiselled, rugged coastline of this exceptional district make this region nothing less than perfect for travelling dogs and their families.
As you travel into Pembrokeshire from the east, urban terrains slowly disappear, being replaced with vast green scenes of farmland and fields. High-rise buildings and dense cities are nowhere to be seen, only spread-out settlements with pocket-sized villages and compact towns. With such expanses of space, your four-legged friend will be in their element.
Delve into some of the UK’s most outstanding green spaces with a holiday in Pembrokeshire’s most rural settings and enjoy a therapeutic break with a medley of adventures at your fingertips.
Let them roam through the ancient woodlands, sprint across the rising mountains of the Preseli Hills, meander along pretty country lanes and rove the intricate web of footpaths weaving across the land. Stretch all the way to where the land meets the sea for shoreline splashes, sea swims and sandy escapades. Bring a ball for beach games under the balmy sun, take a boat ride to the islands for sightings of seabirds or if your pooch is particularly adventurous, they might enjoy stepping aboard a kayak with you for a paddle through the waters.
Pembrokeshire is a terrific dog friendly destination all year round, but particularly so out of season. Nervous and timid pups will appreciate the quieter beaches and calmer streets as there are fewer crowds to cause anxiety. Bouncing dogs bursting with energy will practically take flight upon reaching the now immense wide spaces left open by the summer hordes who have now departed.
The 1st of October marks the annual lifting of summer dog restrictions on a handful of beaches giving you full reign across the county, so the world really is your oyster during these autumn/winter months. But where to go?
Take advantage of the restriction-free areas in Tenby and sightsee the harbour before the boats are brought in or run the length of Whitesands Beach, one of only two bays in Pembrokeshire that imposes a full dog ban during summer. If you’re planning to trek a portion of the Coast Path, just be wary of the flourishing wildlife and the livestock you may pass along your journey - there may be signs asking to keep your furry friends on leads at some point.
Time and time again, one of the most popular attractions specifically catering for dogs is the Dog Agility Course at Heatherton. A total of ten obstacles make up this dedicated doggy course with hurdles and zigzags, a tunnel and a bridge. Plus the best bit? Almost the entire park at Heatherton is suitable for you and your pooch; you’ll find water bowls and even doggy ice cream on sale at the cafe!
Dog Friendly Cottages

For a truly delightful coastal getaway with your dogs, book a stay at West Barn. Nestled in the peaceful hamlet of Lochvane where you’ll find only six cottages in total, this fabulous five-star property offers a slice of luxury with charming rural views. The best part? It’s only a scenic walk from the nearest beach.
That beach being Porthmynawyd, or Pointz Castle beach as it’s better known to those who are in the know. Follow tracks through farmland to reach the Coast Path and you’ll discover one of Pembrokeshire's best “hidden” beaches, less than a mile from your holiday property. This location allows you to take a stroll down to the beach for leisurely mornings paddling in the waves or you can head out on the Path for daily hikes - your pooch will be in their element! Venture to the left towards Newgale or right towards Solva where you’ll find beaches and waterside eateries but be warned, there are steep sections along this stretch of St Brides Bay.
After filling your days with various dog walks in the area, return home for relaxing evenings at West Barn; a detached stone barn set along a no-through lane. SOLO TRAVEL IN
In recent years, solo travelling has become more and more popular – and we can see why. No need to match up calendars, agree on locations or discuss things to do. You get to do what you want when you want.
Asolo cottage holiday in Wales is ideal for independent adventures with a rugged coastline to tour, spectacular countryside to explore and more. Whether you’re a castle aficionado, a wildlife spotter, a keen photographer or simply need a little bit of space from the real world, Pembrokeshire is a top destination for solo travelling.Thefreedom
factor which comes with solo travelling is a huge appeal to many. As we’ve said, you can do what you want when you want. If you want to spend six hours taking an in-depth selfguided tour of Pembroke Castle, you absolutely can. If you want to sit on the pebbles at Newgale Beach for an hour being hypnotised by the ebbing waves, you can do that too.
Some people use solo holidays to push their boundaries and test their comfort zones. Challenge yourself to surf and need not worry about humiliating yourself in front of your pals if you don’t manage to stand up on the board, the only person watching will be the instructor who you might never see again. At the same time, you can do those things you might not want to admit you want to do – tick all those things off your bucket list which you fear might be embarrassing.
Another plus is that you can even schedule in a couple of hours of work if you need to. If
an urgent project comes in which needs your attention, you can easily change your plans last minute without having to explain your choice to anyone else. You can even set up a makeshift office in your holiday cottage by dedicating half of the dining table to your workspace if needs must.
The main benefit of travelling by yourself is the impact the experience can have on you. Studies have suggested that travelling without others can give you a greater awareness of your surroundings, leaving you to soak in every little detail on your travels. Being more independent can improve your self-confidence and if you do decide to confront some fears or explore new experiences, you might just even discover a new side to yourself.
Travelling without others can give you a greater awareness of your surroundings, leaving you to soak in every little detail
Understandably when travelling alone, there are some things you might need to be a little more aware of than when you travel with others. Make sure to be extra safe and keep a list of emergency contacts handy; don’t just include your loved ones, think about your car insurance company if you’re planning a road trip or your bank in case you lose your card.
Holidays are all about fun and memorable experiences so make sure to think about the extra facilities you might need. A hot tip is to pick accommodation with free Wi-Fi as you might find your data plan doesn’t quite cover you for all those Instagram stories whilst you’re sightseeing as well as your video calls to tell your friends all about your day.
Solo travel means that your best pal won’t be there to take a photo of you in front of every iconic landmark, so you might want to think about bringing along a tripod or practising your selfie game before you go. Don’t go without the picture though – you’ll want something to show friends and family back home a memento of your stay. That said, there's likely to be locals and other holidaymakers who'll be happy to snap a pic of you.
Say in the heart of Tenby, just steps from one of the stunning sandy beaches within the coastal town and you’re guaranteed to fall in love with this holiday destination. 8 Croft Court is a compact ground-floor apartment situated above Tenby North Beach and is within close proximity to all that Tenby has to offer.
A huge bonus when you book 8 Croft Court is the guaranteed parking space in the communal car park for the complex, so no need to stress about where to park. Plus, most who stay here park up and forget about the car keys until it’s time to depart as everything you need is within walking distance. Though you can also travel via train, the station is nearby.
Take a few steps out of the front door and through the communal garden to reach the steps which lead down to North Beach, or the “zig-zags” as the locals call them. Try
sea swimming where the Ironman athletes swim or zip across the shore on a jet ski. Venture around the headland to tour all 4 of Tenby’s beaches or stroll into town for pubs, restaurants, shops and art galleries.
Sign up for a boat trip to Caldey from the picture-perfect harbour or pick up some fresh seafood for supper, and of course, no Tenby trip is complete without ice cream on the sand. Amble up to the top of Castle Hill for incredible sunrise views and keep an eye out for the lifeboat launch.

PEMRBOKESHIRE'S UNMISSABLE CHRISTMAS EVENTS
Pembrokeshire is pretty magical all year round, but it's even more special at Christmas when the county is decorated with twinkling fairy lights and festive trees. The last two months of the year are jam-packed with some great community events, all put together to help you embrace that festive spirit and celebrate with some Christmas cheer.
PembrokeshireChristmas just isn’t complete until you’ve got the whole family together for a group outing to see a panto, and there are usually a few to choose between in Pembrokeshire. Practise your best "He's Behind You" and head out to The Torch Theatre in Milford for this year’s production of Sleeping Beauty.
This local show sells out fast every year and given that Cardigan’s Theatr Mwldan and The Lyric Theatre in Carmarthen aren’t taking place this year, it’s likely to see even higher demand than usual.
Boxing Day doesn't ever feel quite right without a dip in the sea so why not brave the cold seashore for Tenby’s infamous Boxing Day Swim? This fantastic annual event gets all the community involved with people joining in with the swim and crowds supporting those brave enough to do so.
Each year, hundreds of swimmers take to the seas to raise money for charity, many of whom do so in fancy dress. Prizes are available for the likes of the Best Dressed, so make sure to put all your effort in for a chance to win!
2022 marks the 50th anniversary of this beloved event with gold certificates in store for everyone taking part, as well as the traditional beach bonfire and hot soup to warm you up afterwards. Head to North Beach where the event begins promptly at 11am.
Tenby Boxing Day SwimFishguard New Year's Eve Street Party
Often regarded as one of the top NYE events in Wales, Fishguard is known to host a memorable street party every year. Fishguard and Goodwick Community Events Association shut down the town square for a party like no other in Pembrokeshire.
Local bands take to the stage on what is usually the main square with a party starting early in the evening and continuing right through to the early hours of the morn, with a countdown and fireworks to celebrate the new year! Show your support and buy a wristband entry ticket in advance (raffle ticket included with your ticket), proceeds go back into the fund for more fantastic community events.
2022 musicians include the popular local band Honey Fungus followed by tribute act This is Queen - what a way to count down to 2023!
Saundersfoot New Year's Day Swim
If you can’t make it to Tenby for the Boxing Day Swim, you’ll have a second chance to brave the cold Welsh waters in Saundersfoot for their Annual New Year’s Day Swim. With over 1500 swimmers in past years, this event has managed to raise over an incredible £47,000 which has been shared between 61 charitable and worthy causes, including HOPE, Trallwm Animal Sanctuary and Martlett’s Hospice.
In 2023, it’s back after a couple of years’ hiatus and promises to be better than ever before! Full details have yet to be announced so keep an eye on their website where sponsorship forms can also be downloaded. This brilliant event usually begins mid-morning with live music and warm-ups, followed by a swim around lunchtime.
Christmas at the Cathedral
Head into the smallest city in the UK on a crisp clear Christmas night for an extra special evening at St Davids Cathedral, followed perhaps by a glass of wine at The Bishops afterwards. The events calendar at the Cathedral is always filled with magically festive occasions that you won’t want to miss.
Whilst full details have yet to be released, you can usually expect family-friendly nativity services, choral evensongs by candlelight (particularly recommended!) and midnight mass on December 24th.
End your festive season on a real high with a stay at Mowbray in Fishguard, where the New Year’s Eve Street Party is heralded as one of the best in Wales. Overlooking Fishguard Harbour and Goodwick Sands, Mowbray is ideally placed to stay near the action whilst maintaining enough distance to have a peaceful seaside break

is a spacious three-storey townhouse in a quiet area of town with excellent views across the beach. A sizeable property, this home lends itself best to family holidays for large groups of up to 11. Plus, it welcomes two dogs meaning you really can escape with all your loved ones. (Note, fireworks are set off on NYE.)
A sweeping staircase greets you as you enter, leading up to the bedrooms above whilst the large family dining room and comfortable sitting room lie on the ground floor. One of our favourite features is the bay windows in the lounge;
take a seat and gaze across the harbour below for hours on end, you won’t ever become tired of this view. Slate steps lead down to the enclosed rear garden and paved terrace which offers plenty of space to relax in as well as those same superb sea views.
The New Year’s celebrations in Fishguard take over the centre of the town with closed roads and a music stage set in the very heart of this destination. A great atmosphere with brilliant performances from local bands and tribute acts creates a memorable night for all. It’s a ticketed event with all profits made going straight back into the pot for the following year’s event. If you’re staying Christmas week, you might want to head to the Abergwaun Hotel for a mouth-watering lunch.

ON THE COAST
Many of our guests book the same cottage to stay in year after year, and have now been staying in that very same cottage for nigh on twenty years. And we don’t blame them! When you find the perfect holiday cottage which suits your needs, it really does become a home away from home.
But why settle for a home away from home? Why not make plans to make your favourite holiday cottage your permanent home?
Of course, we can’t guarantee everyone’s favourite holiday home will one day be up for sale, but can promise to help you find your own piece of Pembrokeshire. Just imagine your own little plot of Welsh land where you can lay your head 365 days a year, where your doggie can roam free from urban life and where you are surrounded by rolling green fields and beautiful blue seas.
After years and years of our guests saying to us, “let us know if the owner decides to sell”, about their favourite cottages, we set up our real estate sister company, Coasty. Specialising in unique and distinct properties throughout Pembrokeshire, you’re sure to find a real gem in Coasty’s portfolio.
You may discover a magnificent beachside property with panoramic sea views, a rural haven in the depths of the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, or an idyllic renovated farmhouse just moments from the Coast Path.
Finding your new home needn’t be a stressful occasion either. Let our friendly and professional team at Coasty help guide you through the process and find the right property which ticks every box. Whether that be a convenient village location, must-have water views, a remote setting or ample parking with room to store your boat - just let us know.
Don’t forget, we can also let your new house for you when you’re not staying there. After all, a little extra spending money always comes in handy right?
JOIN THE FAMILY
At our heart, we are a local holiday cottage company who have been at the forefront of the self-catering industry for almost 40 years. Pioneering the quality end of the market, plus national and international marketing, Coastal Cottages has gained a reputation that has seen over 70% repeat business every year.
Here at Coastal Cottages, our owners are an important part of the family and we’re always keen to extend that family – but we do only take on around 20% of the properties we are offered.
First up, we want to stress that we’re not a call centre, nowhere near in fact. We are not in the business of processing visitors, we are quite the opposite. We’re a family-run company with a small team, all of whom live locally so we have a personal connection to the county around us and to what we do.
We offer first-hand advice and guidance to guests. We’ve even established a Concierge team who work closely with local businesses to offer a holiday experience like no other.
Our owners receive that same personalised advice and reliable service. Our Team schedule regular property visits throughout the year ensuring we get to know our cottages inside-out to give guests that extra level of
Asservice.afuture
owner who wants to offer the very best, we’ll help you get there, even if that means casting our eye over interior design choices, helping choose the right facilities and giving our opinion when you’re looking for new properties to add to your collection.
We’ve learnt that no two properties are the same but luckily for us, no two guests are the same either. That’s why we endeavour to be flexible and personal throughout our service. And clearly, that ethos works. Many of our current collection has been with us since the days when we had only a handful of cottages and a small team back in the early 80s. Nowadays, most of these cottages are owned by the next generation, and we’re delighted they’ve chosen to stay part of the Coastal Cottages family.
If you don’t live locally or simply find the daily
running of your cottage too overwhelming, sit back and let us handle it. At Coastal Cottages, we are the only agency to offer a full management package giving you peace of mind that everything will be dealt with professionally and efficiently on your behalf. With our own team of tradesmen and housekeepers, we can take care of the weekly changeovers and any maintenance needed. We can be as involved as you want us to be, from scheduling your annual PAT tests to making sure the garden is freshly cut, week in week out.
Marketing Pembrokeshire is our speciality, and it is all done internally. We have dedicated online, social and press teams which promote nationally and internationally. We also work closely with online travel agents and overseas agents to promote your cottage overseas as well as to the UK market.
The bottom line is we go the extra mile because we can; we live here, we care and would be delighted to talk through your next adventure, so give us a call on 01437 765 765
