Our McConnellsburg hospital features an on-site laboratory, which offers the full spectrum of laboratory services, including blood testing, urinalysis and blood bank services.

Full-service, state-of-the-art laboratory

The laboratory at Fulton County Medical Center (FCMC) is a state-ofthe-art computerized facility providing comprehensive clinical testing based on your physician’s orders. Staffed by certified medical technologists, technicians and phlebotomists, our lab provides microbiology, chemistry, hematology, urinalysis and blood bank services.

Our professional staff is equipped to analyze all types of clinical specimens, including swabs, urine, blood, feces, sputum, cerebrospinal fluid and infected tissue.

We perform complete blood counts (CBCs), blood films and other specialized tests, as well as toxicology and endocrinology analyses, and urinalyses to check for a wide range of disorders, from urinary tract infections (UTIs) to kidney disease to diabetes.

Inpatient and outpatient lab services

The laboratory is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for inpatient services. We also offer outpatient laboratory services. Outpatient testing hours are: • Monday-Friday: from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. • Saturday: 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. • Closed on holidays Drug and alcohol testing • Monday-Friday: from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
