Photo Disclaimer
The City of Hercules Parks & Recreation Department has implemented a Yearly Liability Waiver form that will be effective from August 1, 2016 to July 31, 2017. Our new liability waiver form will cover all activities, classes, camps, and programs that are provided by the City of Hercules Parks & Recreation Department. Additional program/activity permission slips may be required. One authorized signature from a legal parent or guardian may sign on a minor’s behalf (under 18 years old). Additional family members who are over the age of 18 will be required to provide their own signature to the form. Yearly Liability Waivers will not be accepted by the department without the appropriate signature(s).
The City of Hercules may photograph or video program participants and recreational users of City facilities and use the photographs or video in its promotional materials. Unless otherwise noted at the time of registration, Parks & Recreation will assume program participants and facility users have given consent to be photographed or videoed.
All registration is accepted on a first come, first serve basis unless otherwise noted in the course description. Participants are encouraged to register at least one week prior to the course start date. Registration payment must be accompanied with a completed Liability Waiver and Registration Form. Programs, services, or activities may be cancelled or combined due to low enrollment. Because the Activity Guide is prepared months in advanced, the City cannot guarantee all information in the guide is the most current. Contact Parks & Recreation at (510) 799-8291 during business hours to confirm class details if needed.
Refund and Transfer Policy Refunds or transfers will only be granted on or before the first class meeting. There is a $10.00 service fee applied to all refunds or transfers initiated by participant. If the City cancels a course, the participant will have the option of transferring to a different class or receiving a full refund. Refunds may be issued after the first class meeting due to a medical condition if a doctor’s note is presented verifying the participant is not able to participate.
