Over the past couple of years we have been making improvements to the short game area at the club. Expanded fairways, renovated bunkers, and better turf conditions in general have all improved the overall appearance and playability of the area. Even with the expanded fairway turf though, flat spots to hit balls from are at a premium and most of the use is concentrated around a few areas. To help with recovery of those areas, please do not do what is shown in photo 1. Removing large sections of turf completely dramatically lengthens the time it takes for recovery, and in most cases the grounds staff will have to resod the area. Taking divots in a long, single line as depicted by the sign in photo 2, and the divot pattern in photo 3 allows the turf to fill in quicker, often within a week or two and allows the area to be used again. Thank you for your help with this matter.

SWIM LESSONS
Swim Instructor Kathryn teaching Taylor, 3, how to swim using our American Red Cross Progessive Swim Instructor Program.
Progressive swim lessons for children ages 2 to 9 years old are now available with one of our American Red Cross certified lifeguards! Lessons are $30 for 30 minutes and billed through your member account.
