Shannon McQuarry,It has been great to see so many people out enjoying the golf course this Spring Along with the increase in play comes an increase to the wear and tear on the golf course. Please keep the following in mind as you play this summer to help do your part to keep the course in top shape
Cart Traffic: Please adhere to all directional ropes, stakes, and posts. Carts are not to be taken past the blue topped stakes in the approaches Carts should be kept on the cart paths on all par three’s and hole number 13 If there is a cart path available, please use it.
Divots: If you take a divot from the fairway or tee please replace the divot or fill with sand If the divot holds together and has some soil on the bottom, it can be replaced. If the divot blows apart or is very thin, it is best to just fill the divot with sand and seed provided in the cart bottles or boxes on the tees
Ball Marks: Please make sure you are fixing your ball marks on the greens There have been a lot of unrepaired ball marks on the greens this Spring. Due to the cool conditions most of them have recovered This will not be the case as the weather warms up and the greens are under more stress If you are unsure of the proper way to repair a ball mark please stop by the pro shop or ask someone on the grounds staff
