It is expected that Members will choose to dress in a fashion befitting the surroundings and atmosphere provided in the setting of the Club. It is also expected that Members will advise their guests of Club dress requirements. Specific dress requirements for various dining times, events, and Clubs within the Club will be communicated through email and promotional materials. When Members and guests arrive at the Club not in compliance with the dress code they will not be embarrassed, asked to leave, or change clothing that day. The following day these Members will receive a phone call from the General Manager or Department Head reminding them of the dress code requirements for their next visit. On rare occasions, further action will be required if the manner of dress is deemed grossly inappropriate. All actions taken by management will be documented and records will be kept. The following dress code requirements apply to persons 12 and older. The dress standards for the Club will be reviewed on an annual basis for modifications unless extenuating circumstances required an earlier review. As a Member, if you would like to report a dress code violation please contact the nearest Department Head or General Manager. We ask that you do so with the expectation that the Member in question will not be addressed immediately, but rather will be educated the next day.

The Aftermath is the cozy yet elegant Members' bar and grille featuring a brick fireplace, multiple TVs, view of the golf course, outdoor patio, and full lunch/dinner menu. The Aftermath just underwent an outdoor expansion, The Oasis, project that added additional seating, another fire pit, an outdoor bar, and has built in heating.
This elegant bar and dining room is located on the top-floor of the Clubhouse. It is host to many Member and Private Events throughout the year. The nines also has a beautiful view overlooking the golf course and patio seating overlooking the Club Pool. It transitioned to become our signature dini December 1st, 2021. This space is our main din between the months of November through April.
The River Club of Mequon is comprised of three distinct nines that provide an abundance of beauty and plenty of challenges Built in 1963, it was these 338 acres of elegant terrain that allowed original course designer David Gill, with recent upgrades from architect Bob Lohman, to incorporate water, rolling grasslands and fairwaytightening timber into an enjoyable and stimulating test of golf for players of all skill levels Four sets of tees help to promote parity and add enjoyment in every round of golf
The Golf Shop is headquarters for all things golf at The River Club of Mequon, whether you’re looking for the latest equipment and apparel, or to schedule lessons or tee times -- on the course or in one of the club’s AboutGolf simulators. The RC golf shop is also a popular place for members to simply hangout and talk golf with a staff that lives and loves the game.

Replacing ball marks is very important. Equally important is doing it correctly. The first step in repairing ball marks is to take your ball mark repair tool and insert the prongs into the turf at the edge of the depression. The second step is to push the edge of the ball mark toward the center, using your ball mark repair tool in a “gentle twisting motion”. The last step is to gently tap down the repaired ball mark with your putter to smooth the putting surface.
After you have taken a divot during play you must fill your divot with the mix provided in the divot mix box attached to your golf cart. Use enough divot mix to fill the divot and then use your foot to smooth over and tamp down the mix. If you are walking while you play and take a divot we ask that you replace your divot and tap down the replaced turf.
After you have played your shot from the bunker you must rake the area where your club made contact with the sand , and your footprints. Pull the tines of the rake toward you as you begin moving toward the rim of the bunker. Please replace the rake on the outside edge of the bunker
The River Club features 2 Tennis courts and soon to be 8 Pickleball courts for the fast-growing (and fast-paced) sport that is sweeping the nation There is a large selection of junior group drills, aerobic tennis drills with music, social events, mixers, and of course, individual lessons from the Club’s acclaimed instructional staff.

When it’s time to relax, kick back by the huge L-shaped crystal blue pool at The River Club. The club’s vacation-like atmosphere is hard to beat with sand-tinted concrete decking surrounding the pool, accented with matching tables and umbrellas along with some steel sculptured palm trees providing a touch of tropical enchantment. A full service bath house offers towel service, day lockers and showers. Enjoy lunch and your favorite beverages seven days a week on the canopied patio deck or wherever you choose to lounge. Our two year old Cabanas are a great space to rent for a day by the pool.
