The Affordable Housing Team is responsible for the administration of the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME), and Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) Programs, State Housing Initiatives Program (SHIP) and the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP), which assists in the redevelopment of abandoned and foreclosed properties for affordable housing initiatives.

Animal Intake Hours:

Tuesday - Friday 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. Jacksonville’s Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS) provides animal control to the citizens in Jacksonville by fair enforcement and community education.

The Office of Consumer Affairs operates under the provisions legislated in the City of Jacksonville Municipal Code Ordinances listed; Miscellaneous Business Sec. 250, Deceptive Trade Practices Sec. 696, Solicitation in the Right of Way - Sec. 804.806 and Sec. 150.413 - Human Trafficking Public Awareness. The Office investigates, mediates consumer complaints, issues permits for various parts of Sec. 250 and Sec. 804.8w06 and is regulated and enforced through Sec. 609 through verbal/written warnings and paying citations. The Office also provides outreach consumer awareness services throughout the community.
