Linked to the wine labour since childhood, soon awakes to a passion for the wine culture. It is recognized as one of the Top Ten Winemakers in 2011 by the Wine Masters Challenge - World Wine Contest. ​The knowledge and skills for the critical judgment of the wine, resulted in the invitation to be part of the Jury of the V, VI and XIV of the Wine Masters Challenge-World Wine Contest. ​He is responsible for the Oenology of Quinta Vale de Fornos, Casa José Repolho ("José Repolho - Distinctive Wines Ltd."),and has collaborate with Adega Cooperativa da Vermelha, Sociedade de Vinhos de Serpa, Caves Velhas and Adegas Camillo Alves. ​The wines are recognized in the major national (Associação de Sommeliers de Portugal, Concurso Internacional de Vinhos "Cidade do Porto") and international competitions (International Wine Challenge, International Wine and Spirit Competition, Premium Select Wine Challenge , Wine Masters Challenge, World Wine Contest, Challenge du Vin).
