Introducing Andas: Breathe in Swedish

Andas is a small filter that can be added to the light bulbs in any room, taking advantage of what is already in a room without requiring other space.

Air Pollution: A common issue that happens in commercial settings but is frequently looked over in the home or urban environment. Major factors are Carbon Monoxide, Mold, Pollen and various other household products like floor polish. Current Air Filters are largely immobile and take up room on a floor or desk. They would typically be used for a specific amount of time and then put away in order to conserve space.

The design of Andas is to fix the air you are in, instead of bringing new and clean air.

In households as well as workplaces there is typically steady movement, this movement would continually cause Andas to clean and filter the air and a constant rate. Another advantage is the shape allows it to sit on a desk in case it is unable to be attached to a light, yet its small size keeps it out of the way. The shape was intended to fit a standard aesthetic so if a home has exposed bulbs or somewhat covered it will not stick out and just be considered a part of the bulb, this was intend in order to retrofit existing lights instead of a consumer needing to buy an entire home full of new filtering lights.

It could come in varying size according to what type of light is being attached too. There are small micro-filters in the small bending "arm" which can be cleaned out in a standard sink, thus replacing the need to buy replacement ones and there is a small induction motor inside to draw minimal power from the light bulb it is attached to.
