200. Franz Kerber Oil on Canvas Man Playing a Zither. (1901-1945). Kerber studied in Berlin and Munich and is known for his detailed genre scenes of German folk. Interior scene of a seated man playing a zither with a wine carafe by his side. Signed lower left "Kerber", with plaque, "F. Kerber". Image 15-1/2" x 11", in an ornate frame, 23" x 19" overall. Condition: Very good.
