Medical professionals are facing significant change in healthcare and insurance regulations as the national debate continues and global trends are explored. This roundtable is an opportunity for networking and learning with key thought leaders and senior business executives in the medical field. The format is designed to provide an open and stimulating environment where new ideas and insights into coaching and personal branding can be explored. As an attendee, you will have access to the Global Roundtable results from at least 15 countries and 20 cities which will offer a look at global leadership trends and potential opportunities for business in the global marketplace.

The roundtable is an invitation only event focused on Medical Executives, Administrators, Physicians and Nurse Leaders who want to explore the benefits of business coaching for healthcare, and those with strong links to developing talent and leadership competencies within the medical profession.

About The Events The Global Coaching Roundtable was launched by Columbia Coaching Alliance in December 2008. The first roundtable took place in Shanghai at 3 on the Bund with a diverse group of Executives, Entrepreneurs, and CCA Clients. The mission of the initiative is to stimulate a global conversation on coaching and leadership development from a wide and diverse range of viewpoints. The culmination will be the publication of an article sharing the global conversation with the coaching and business communities.


About The Roundtable Hosts

Dr. Michael Cassatly, DMD Dr. Cassatly is a Certified Coach, a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and President of MedAchieve. His unique experience of over 25 years as a surgeon provides a one-of-a-kind connection to client physicians and medical practitioners who share his passion for making the practice of medicine fulfilling, meaningful and profitable. After 25 years as a founding partner in a highly successful multi-office, multi-doctor surgery practice, Dr. Michael Cassatly transitioned from his first chosen profession into coaching due to the long term physical strain of surgery. Determined to maintain his lifelong commitment to healing and making a difference in healthcare, he turned his energy toward coaching. With many years of higher education already completed, he went back to school at Columbia University in New York and was certified in executive business coaching, and subsequently founded MedAchieve, a professional coaching company focused on helping healthcare practitioners and organizations maximize their potential. Since founding MedAchieve, Dr. Cassatly authored several papers and has been working with physicians and healthcare companies nationwide. Through quality improvement initiatives, including improved patient/physician communications, teamwork and streamlined strategic planning, clients experience improved medical outcomes, decreased medical liability, more satisfying and less stressful workplaces and lifestyles with higher profitability. MedAchieve serves a variety of clients, from individual medical practitioners to large physician practices, medical insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals and other healthcare concerns.

Jeffrey Jones, GPHR Jeffrey Jones is an Executive and Transcultural Leadership Coach and an expert on Human Potential, with over 19 years of experience in human resources, training and development, and coaching in multinational corporations. He cooperates closely with the Vital-Life Center at Bumrungrad International Hospital. The Vital-Life Center, the only center in Asia that is certified by the American Academy of AntiAging Medicine, is on the cutting edge of vitality and wellness medicine. Jeffrey strongly believes that wellness and vitality are key to his work with clients and that concentrating on vitality is important in reaching their goals and achieving success. Jeffrey has worked extensively in the area of psychometric assessment and personality testing. He is a certified assessor through Saville Holdsworth Limited and the British Psychological Society. Jeffrey’s approach to coaching is strongly evidence-based and supported by his comprehensive use of measurable assessment to define needs and document results. Jeffrey is a graduate of the Columbia University Coaching Certification Program in New York, a joint program with the Columbia Business School. In addition, in 2006, Jeffrey completed his Coaching Training at UC Davis in Sacramento, California with The Coaches Training Institute. CTI is consistently recognized as a leading program, and their model is widely used as a reference in the industry. Jeffrey has earned the distinction of Global Professional Human Resources (GPHR) by the Society of Human Resources and Development, recognizing his in depth knowledge and expert status internationally. He is a member of the International Coach Federation, and was a member of the committee for conference programming in 2007. Additionally, he is a member of ICF Global Healthcare Alliance, the American Society of Training and Development, where he was responsible for organizing the first Vietnamese delegation to their annual conference. Jeffrey is also a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, National Academy of Sports Medicine and Association of Image Consultants International.
