Traffic-building Activities HFTP is committed to helping you make the most of your participation. Convention activities are designed to promote traffic flow throughout the exhibit hall. Dedicated Exhibit Hours Education sessions are not scheduled during show hours (with the exception of exhibitor tutorials), maximizing traffic and allowing attendees to focus on the exhibits. Welcome Reception and Exhibits Grand Opening This very popular event is the official kickoff to the convention and will be held on Wednesday, October 16 from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. Complimentary Food and Beverage Stations for the Welcome Reception and Thursday lunch are placed strategically inside the exhibit hall to draw attendees and enhance traffic flow.
Show Promotion and Marketing The HFTP Annual Convention & Tradeshow is extensively promoted to HFTP’s 4,400+ members through direct mail, e-mail, social media, the HFTP web site, HFTP Connect blog, chapter meetings, The Bottomline magazine and the Infoline e-newsletter. Members of allied hospitality associations are also targeted through direct mail and advertising campaigns. Exhibits Grand Opening
Kick off the HFTP Annual Convention & Tradeshow by sponsoring the Welcome Reception and grand opening of the tradeshow on Wednesday. This is the attendees’ first opportunity to meet and network with fellow members, visit exhibitors and enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Sponsors receive signage at the entrance to and inside the exhibit hall and a one-page brochure inside the registration bags.
Refreshment breaks are provided during the education sessions on Thursday and Friday. Includes signage at the refreshment stations and sponsors have the option of furnishing imprinted mints or beverage cups. This formal event on Friday features the installation of the new HFTP Board of Directors, followed by an elegant dinner and evening of entertainment and dancing. Sponsor benefits include prominent signage, verbal recognition, a full-page ad in the convention program and three tickets to the event.
