CODE OF CONDUCT

All players, coaches, medical staff, match officials, team management and administrators should complete the appropriate World Rugby Covid-19 Return to Play Awareness course, available via playerwelfare. worldrugby.org before the Tour begins.

In order to comply with local jurisdiction laws, guidelines and policies of the match location, the required match organiser’s specific venue education information should also be completed either in document or video format.

PERIOD OF COVER

Each participating team will send their pre-Tour training/camp assembly plans to SARES for review and agree a commencement date.

This Code of Conduct will come into practice from that date right through to the end of the teams’ participation in the Tour.

It will apply when individuals are in camp – i.e. Red Zone bio-bubble.

BREACHES

In the event of a breach of any of the items listed, by an individual, the participating team to which that person is affiliated, could in the first instance deal with the breach.

Regardless of any participating team’s decision to deal or not with a breach, SA Rugby/Lions may separately consider a situation where it believes a player, coach or other participating team personnel may have breached the protocol and may decide to impose a fine to the participating team as a result.
