The following information concerns rights and procedures that relate to this proceeding to declare minor free from your parental control and custody as set forth in Family Code Section 7860, et seq.: 1. At the beginning of the proceeding, the Court will consider whether or not the interest of the minor requires appointment of counsel. If the Court finds that the interests of the minor do require such protection, the Court will appoint counsel to represent him, whether or not he is able to afford counsel.
