Trophex Direct has relocated to its all-time preferred venue for 2023 During the covid pandemic the B2B sales process became increasingly digital due to the restrictions in place. However face-to-face meetings still provide certain benefits that technology cannot replace. After over two years of only being able to converse digitally, face-to-face business at long last has made its return as a key element of the sales process.

Trade shows are a valuable resource to promote your company to a wider target audience where you benefit from meeting prospective customers face-to-face at one venue, saving you time and money.

MARKETING CAMPAIGN DIRECT TO RETAILERS AND OTHER CAREFULLY SELECTED PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS

Trophex Direct is a major well established trade event for the Trophy, Engraving, Awards, Medals and Personalisation industry. The aim of the next show in 2023 is to re-connect the industry, creating a space where you can network, build new business relationships, and catch up with current customers and suppliers personally.

The shows media partner TEN Magazine, the only magazine in the UK for the industry, and show organisers Hill Media Ltd, have a proven track record and the infrastructure to bring visitors to the show.

The human brain is wired for connection and appreciation. To build relationships and close deals, it is essential to understand what makes each person tick. Businesses need to take into account that face-to-face sales are often the first time a customer gets acquainted with your brand, products, and services.

With this in mind Trophex Direct is returning to its all-time preferred venue, The National Conference Centre and Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham, and will be held on Sunday 22nd and Monday 23rd January 2023.

Exhibitors can meet potential customers face-to-face to discuss their requirements, offer new ways to support their business and create valuable new relationships. Use Trophex Direct in 2023 to secure your position in the marketplace as the industry recovers. Can you afford not to be there.

A recent report from Stellar Global discovered that 85% of customers would be encouraged to buy a product after a product demonstration, while 73% want a product demonstration to give them an understanding of how that product works. These findings highlight the importance of taking the time to demonstrate your product, educate prospective customers about its advantages and answer any questions they have. Using face-to-face meetings to show how your product helps them solve their problems, wants and desires is therefore crucial in the sales environment. All in all, success in B2B sales means using all the methods available to you and using them well. Technology should, of course, be used when it is sensible to do so, but the value of face-to-face interaction can never be understated. At a time when the world is opening up again, embracing in-person meetings is sure to yield success.

Join an industry trusted show, incorporating over thirty years of experience, with the infrastructure to target prospective new business, from a wider audience than ever before, on your behalf.

NEW LOW-COST FORMAT TO EXHIBIT Take advantage of a revised low-cost pricing structure to put yourself in front of prospective customers in a well-known fit for purpose venue. Exhibitors can show their full range at the right price on the right days at the right venue.

GREAT TRANSPORT LINKS & PARKING The National Conference Centre and Motorcycle Museum is ideally located, in the heart of the Midlands on Junction 6 of the M42 and only 5 minutes from Birmingham International railway station and airport, travel could not be easier. Combine this with over 1000 free parking spaces and 4 electric charging points.

NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES

Trophex Direct now offers the lowest rates for exhibitors seen at the show for many years. Call Nigel on 01442 826826 or send an email to nigelbean1@aol.com or to Jane at janesoones@aol.com

LET’S LEARN

LET’S LEARN - WITH MR FIX IT WHOLESALE Here at Mr Fix It Wholesale, engraving is our passion. And we want to share that passion with you. Since our establishment in 1999, we have grown to one of the UK’s Leading Wholesalers for engravable gifts and engraving consumables. We have also earned the sole distributorship for Gravotech engraving technologies in Scotland and Northern Ireland *we also service Cumbria, Northumberland, Durham and Newcastle Greater Area*. This has really made MFI Wholesale your one stop shop for all your engraving needs, start to finish. Our inhouse engraving team has over 20 years of engraving expertise using C02 lasers, Fibre lasers and Rotary engraving technologies. It gives us great pleasure to share that knowledge and passion with you. In this months, Lets’ Learn – With Mr Fix It Wholesale, we are engraving a sleek Personalised Bamboo Luxury BBQ Tool Set for this upcoming barbeque summer season. This is going to be engraved using a Gravotech LS100 IQ 40w Gantry C02 Laser engraver with a bed size of 460mm x 305mm. The LS100 IQ C02 Laser is a fantastic all-round engraving machine. Its large bed size with C02 source and optional rotary attachment allows you to engrave a massive range of materials of different shapes and sizes.

We are also going to engrave a product that is actually bigger than the bed size, showcasing the diversity of the LS100 IQ. Our Luxury Bamboo BBQ Tool Set is 500mm long, which is 40mm longer than the engraving area. However, as the old saying goes, where there is a will, there is a way! We are using bamboo because it is a very light wood. It’s soft enough to get a beautiful engraving, while hard enough not to burn up and char. The low glue content also helps prolong the lifespan of your machine and cuts down maintenance time/costs with minimal smoke. If you were using a standard MDF or plywood, the mirrors in your C02 engraver would have to be cleaned a lot more often. 1) Cut a jig 160mm high and lay it flat against the rulers in your LS100 IQ. We cut out our jig using the LS100 IQ itself (Figure One). We used Laser Wood from Gravotech however any material can be cut by other means to make such a jig Figure One as long as it will hold your BBQ Set securely in place. 2) Place your BBQ Set flush against your jig and rulers on the left-hand side of the machine (Figure Two). As you can see from the image, this allows your BBQ Set to clear the threads of the raising table which allows it to overhang the engraving bed safely and securely. 3) Next, we must set up our template to ensure our engraving is centred. Centring engraving on a ‘non-centred’ item can be quite difficult to achieve with a lot of engraving software out there however this is very easy to do using Gravotech Laserstyle.

Figure Three

As per the image (Figure Three), we have our plate dimensions input into Laserstyle. This allows the LS100 IQ to understand its working area. Next, we can set up margins on the left-hand side of 25mm to compensate for the overhang on the right and above (165mm) to compensate for the size of our jig. Then, by simply using the centre button the text goes to our new centre every single time, giving accurate and consistent engraving. 4) The speed and power settings on the Gravotech software for this engraving job is: Power: 100 Speed: 70 Focus: -6.0mm

Figure Four

DPI: 400 No. of Passes: 1 Runtime: 2min 44secs 5) Our top tip for this job is dropping the item being engraved out of focus by 6mm as per the settings listed. This is a great trick for wooden items that keeps the runtime the same however it gives a nice, dark brown finish (Figure Four). You can set this in the Laserstyle software effortlessly with the click of a button. Mr Fix It Wholesale’s Luxury Bamboo BBQ Tool Set is a hot seller for the summer and makes for the perfect griller’s gift. The large surface area on the outside of the set gives you plenty of engraving space and

room for the imagination. The tools inside the BBQ Set are also engravable. During the good weather, these BBQ sets are a very sought-after item with the popular engraving ideas following the theme of ‘World’s Best Dad’, ‘BBQ King’ or the ‘King of the Grill’. TROPHEX UK 2023 & EURO TROPHEX 2023

10 great reasons to exhibit at Trophex Direct & Euro Trophex in 2023 If your business is attracting new customers from advertising and word of mouth, it can be very tempting to write trade shows off as something that you don’t need to do to attract new customers. But trade shows can be one of the most rewarding forms of marketing when approached with the right strategy. Trade show veterans will attest to the fact that the ROI (return on investment) achieved from a successful trade show is often impossible to match in comparison to other forms of marketing. So before you write off trade shows as secondary to your current marketing tactics, it pays to learn about their benefits. Here are ten reasons which explain why trade shows should be at the top of your list.

1. Meet and connect with prospective customers One of the greatest advantages of exhibiting at a trade show is that it allows you to meet and connect with prospective customers in person instead of communicating with them over the phone. When meeting in person, you become someone that they know, recognise, and want to connect with.

2. Strengthen your bond with existing customers Just like trade shows give you the opportunity to better connect with prospective customers, exhibiting at a trade show also allows you to meet your existing customers face-to-face. They are often a place for customers to approach you with their long term plans and big orders – orders that can be incredibly lucrative for you as an exhibitor. Utilising your attendance to plan meetings at the show will save you valuable time and money than trying to see each in turn at their place of business.

6

shows are a place for businesses to announce and display their latest innovations and developments. In a competitive industry, would you rather be aware of your competitors or out of the loop? Exhibiting at a trade show doesn’t just give you the opportunity to make new sales and connect with existing customers, it gives you the chance to look at cutting edge developments in your industry and the opportunities they also create for you.

Exhibiting at a trade show allows you to observe what your competitors are doing right and apply their tactics to your own business.

4. Meet new companies that can help your business

9. Speak directly to your target market

Your attendance gives you the chance to network with both prospective customers and prospective vendors. This makes a trade show more than just an opportunity to expand your distribution, but a chance to expand your supply chain.

Trade shows allow you to solicit a huge amount of feedback by talking directly to visitors that have been invited to attend from various avenues within your industry. You can then use this valuable information after the show to help your business expand and improve.

5. Close deals with new customers during the show There are few situations more tense than the average outbound sales call. From the endless objections of the prospective customer to the stress of losing a valuable sale, it’s natural to face rejection and nervousness as a salesperson. At a trade show, however, the atmosphere is different. Trade shows are one of the few environments in which your sales team benefits from an audience of prospective customers that are genuinely interested in buying your products and services.

Trade shows are one of the few environments where you have the same amount of access to prospective customers as your larger competitors do. This makes them a valuable opportunity not just for direct sales and marketing, but for strengthening your brand and positioning your business as a leader in its industry.

7. Learn what your competitors are doing right

When your business attends an industry event, it puts you at the centre of the action. Trade

In the world of business, it pays to keep your customers close and your competitors closer.

There’s no greater way to fill your contact book with prospects than a successful trade show effort in a such a short time frame.

10. Optimise your sales and lead generation strategy Trade shows are an excellent opportunity to expose your sales team to hundreds of different prospects in a short period of time. A perfect opportunity to test new sales tricks and marketing strategies in a very responsive environment. Where else can you meet hundreds of prospective business opportunities under one roof over a couple of days?

THEMAGICTOUCH

“Putting Your Best Foot Forward” In the growing world of personalisation TheMagicTouch have again created another great opportunity for customers to benefit from the massive potential of personalised shoes and footwear. This unique and easy method to personalise and decorate all kinds of shoes and footwear is using their new DTF transfer process. Jim Nicol, Managing Director explains, “25 years ago we were very fortunate to engage with many established shoe and fashion footwear brands that wanted to create limited edition designs and incorporate full colour images. The pioneers then and still today are Dr Martens originally in Northamptonshire, where limited edition full colour designs could be produced within the normal production facility. However, at the time the entry level cost of the digital transfer printers and equipment was very high plus having to construct the finished footwear after the design had been printed to the specific leather panel eliminated this to many potential users”.

However, today TheMagicTouch confirm they offer various full colour transfer options for the decoration of all types of footwear. Using a combination of both toner-based and DTF transfers full colour images can be applied directly to almost any type of trainers, sliders, sports boots, safety shoes and sandals for example within a minute using one of the many hand-held irons designed for intricate transfer applications and used extensively within the craft market. The printed and cured DTF transfers are easily applied to almost any part of the footwear with minimal risk of damage or any rejects. In fact transfers applied can be easily and quickly removed using tradition flex and HTV removal sprays.

Jim Nicol adds “At the moment, globally the current offering for full colour personalisation to footwear is very limited and also very expensive. The offering from some of world leading sports shoe brands is restricted to simple single colour names with a limited choice of positioning. Customers can now create custom footwear easily, quickly and affordably. For further details contact sales@themagictouch.co.uk Visit: www.themagictouch.co.uk

The finished transfer is vibrant and more importantly durable. The advantages of the DTF transfer include no cutting, no weeding, and no pre-treatment. Plus full colour digital transfers at the lowest cost ever!

AMAYA SALES UK

How to produce top quality embroidery Producing quality embroidery will set you apart from many of the embroiderers out there that only turn out average quality. Take a look at embroidery in some of the retail stores and you will see a wide difference in quality. You could say that if the consumer is accepting this, then why bother changing? The answer is that most people will always pay extra for quality goods. This will allow you to create more business and charge a higher price. So, let’s take a look at how you can ensure that your embroidery production is as good as possible.

Look at the design before it’s digitised The first step starts when you take the initial order. You must look at the artwork and decide what parts are suitable for embroidery and what are not. For example, very small lettering may not be possible compared to print. If you have your own design software, there should be special lettering fonts that are suitable for very small ones. If you are looking at a design with large areas of fill stitch, you might want to consider using an applique material that will cut down on the number of stitches and the time taken to sew. If you are sending your designs out to be digitised, they should advise you on what’s good for embroidery or not if you are not sure. To find a good digitiser, try sending the same design to say three companies and then compare the results.

with no wrinkles. The ideal hoop for an embroidery design is one that just fits, and fits just inside the hoop limits. This would help prevent any registration and puckering issues.

Cap embroidery is easy nowadays and is very profitable. Visit: https://www.amayauk. com/products/accessories/melcoaccessories/cap-frames/

Amaya Sales UK supply the Hoopmaster framing system which will make the above easy. Visit: https://www.amayauk.com/ products/accessories/melco-accessories/ hoopmaster/

Maintain your machine

The backing material is also very important and is used as a stabilizer for the garment. There are two main types of backing, one is called “tear away” and the other “cut away”. Tear away backing is used for more stable fabrics and cut away for the more unstable fabrics such as knits or loosely woven fabrics. There are also some special backing materials that are mainly used for lighter weight fabrics. Please ask your supplier for more details. Also, look out for special frames in the market to help you hoop and embroider in difficult places, Amaya Sales UK offer the Melco fast clamp, which is a great one product solution for framing. Visit: https://www.amayauk.com/ product/melco-fast-clamp-pro/

Cap embroidery Cap embroidery has not always been easy to produce, but with the introduction of the latest framing systems from Amaya Sales UK this has improved tremendously.

Now that you have a well-prepared design and your garment is framed correctly, you should turn your attention to your embroidery machine. Make sure that all your tensions are set correctly between the top and bobbin thread. Some machines have automatic tensioning which takes all the guess work away and allows you to run fast and efficient embroidery production. Check that the stitch quality is good and consistent in all colours. Use a design that you know sews correctly before trying this. Make sure that there are no loops in the top thread, this could be a sign that the sewing hooks need re-timing. Check that your operator is oiling and maintaining your machine to a good standard.

Look out for new products Last but not least, always keep a lookout for new machines or products that can help improve your production and quality. Visit www.amayauk.com or call their experienced team on 02392 590 281 to arrange a visit to their permanent exhibition centres.

Framing the garment and backing material Correct framing is essential if you want the finished embroidery to look top class. Make sure that the material is taught in the frame

Unique, Classic and Quirky Wall Plaques Wall plaques come in all shapes, sizes, colours and materials, so finding the right one for you can be more challenging that you first realise. From memorial plaques to corporate and business plaques, there are different concerns and considerations when choosing the right option for you. Luckily for you, we’ve got a complete guide to all types of plaques, so you can make the right choice. We’ll take you through some of the most popular types of custom plaque, discussing classic looks and popular trends, as well as practical considerations and creative opportunities. With all the options assessed, you’ll have all the knowledge you need to make the right choice for your wall plaque.

Memorial plaques In loving memory plaques are a wonderful tribute to someone who has passed. They often mark significant places that they loved, and can be found everywhere from golf clubs to gardens. When you’re thinking about the best options for your memorial, it’s really important to think about where it’s going to be placed as well as how you’d like it to look. For example, the classic material for a memorial is of course stone, with both granite and slate plaques becoming a very popular choice.

However, many of these tributes are placed outdoors, so having a weatherproof memorial plaque is going to be really important. While stone memorial plaques are mostly weatherproof, over time they can bear the brunt of the wind and rain, especially if they’re particularly exposed to the elements. Another great material choice for an outdoor memorial is an acrylic plaque. Acrylic is an often-overlooked material, but is incredibly durable and almost endlessly customisable.

Today it’s more than a marker, it’s a fantastic opportunity to show off your company’s style and brand. Bronze plaques, or plaques in brass or even gold are still very popular, particularly for traditional professions like lawyers, accountants and dentists. But more and more companies today are choosing options that allow them to be a bit more creative, and incorporate their brand and style into their company plaques.

For example, with digital printing, you can create an acrylic memorial plaque with a photo, making a tribute that’s incredibly personal and moving.

And that’s not just down to material either. Another big trend is for wall plaques to be designed in unusual or unique shapes – even taking the form of a company’s logo.

Another classic material option is a brass memorial plaque, which is also a longlasting and waterproof option, so can work beautifully both inside and outside.

Business plaques are also used far more widely today, with many rooms having their own wall or door plaques to help people find the right person or place within the office.

But our favourite option for indoor and outdoor remembrance plaques is actually a combination of materials. For example, small engraved plaques in metal or acrylic, placed on stone, wood or even glass backing.

Popular materials for office door plaques include acrylic, metal and wood.

By using multiple materials you often get the best of both worlds, combining a classic look and feel of a stone or wooden plaque, with the practical benefits of a versatile and hard-wearing material like acrylic.

Business plaques Most businesses like to mark their location with some good signage. But the classic brass plate company name plaque for your head office address has evolved over the years.

Metal and wooden wall plaques are both classic looks, and provide a clean, clear style that can easily be customised with laser engraving. But acrylic is a more versatile option, with more options for customisation, including digital printing that can bring your brand to life. Acrylic is also easy to shape into different styles, allowing you not just to move away from the traditional round, oval and rectangular plaque shapes, but even include more 3D elements and textures too. Trophy plaques A trophy or award plaque is a fantastic way to celebrate a great achievement, whether that’s competitive, personal or at work. The wonderful thing about a trophy plaque is that it’s made for permanent display, making it especially meaningful to a recipient, as they’re encouraged to show off their achievement. Many plaque trophies are expected to be displayed indoors, and are often actually made to exist on a stand, or to be free standing rather than as a wall hanging. If you choose to create an award that’s free standing, it’s important to remember that when choosing your shape. Traditionally a plaque is designed with a flat frontispiece, or with a few raised or textured elements, but if you’d like your plaque to be freestanding, you’ll need to ensure it has a wide, solid base too. That’s one of the big reasons that glass and wood are popular choices for a freestanding award, as they are really well suited to designs that include a wide base. Another great option is expanding the

18

foundation of your plaque with the addition of an extra front piece in acrylic or wood. These can also provide you with additional design features, as a frontispiece in wood or acrylic can easily be laser engraved or digitally printed for a unique design. If your award is designed to be a personalised wall plaque, the key thing to remember is that you’ll need a material that will easily hang on a wall. That’s why stone plaques and metal plaques are often designed to be thin and delicate, so they won’t be too heavy or require industrial screws to keep them secure. How you plan to display your plaque plays a big part in which material and design is going to work for you, so it’s always important to think about that right at the start of the process.

At EFX, we think the most important factors to think about when choosing the right style for you include: What’s the purpose of your plaque? Is it a memorial, a sign or an award? Where will your plaque be positioned? Will it be inside or outside? Is it a wall plaque, free standing or a plaque that will need a stand? How much customisation will you need? Are you after simple engraving, digital printing or a completely unique design? Whatever your requirements for your plaque, there is a wide range of options to choose from. You can find a great selection of pre-designed styles ready for customisation, or you can create your own bespoke plaque design that perfectly meets your expectations.

MANTIS WORLD

Mantis World Achieves Science Based Target Approval After 2 years of work with the Carbon Disclosure Project, Mantis World has had their carbon emissions target validated by the Science Based Target initiative. The SBTi is a partnership between the CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute and the World Wide Fund for Nature. Together they are working to drive ambitious climate action in the private sector by encouraging companies to set quantifiable carbon reduction targets, that align with the Paris Climate Accord aim of restricting global temperature rises to 1.5 degrees.

To have our carbon reduction target validated by SBTi - the leading and most robust framework for all industries shows Mantis World’s determination and commitment to leading the fight against climate change. This is one of our biggest steps on the journey to sustainability and we hope it serves as an example for the industry to follow.” Mantis World first introduced Organic Cotton into their collections back in 2005. They have continued to lead the use of preferred fibres since then by adding recycled polyester in 2017, completely eliminating conventional

cotton from their supply chain in 2019 and more recently introducing In-Conversion to Organic cotton earlier this year. Dr Luiz Fernando do Amaral, CEO of the SBTi, recently said: “The science is clear – we are already experiencing the impacts of climate change, and continuing on the current trajectory equals catastrophe….we must continue to drive the exponential growth of science-based targets and make them ‘business as usual’ for companies and financial institutions worldwide.” www.mantisworld.com

Mantis World has committed to reduce its scope 1 & 2 emissions by 50% by 2030 and to begin recording & reducing those for scope 3. “We’re delighted” said Prama Bhardwaj, Mantis World’s CEO & Founder, “our work in the adoption of regenerative and organic agriculture is well established.

GRAPHTEC GB

Keiyosa love imagining new designs and making them come to life In a recent interview with Keiyosa we spoke to Vipul Patel who, with his partner Shivani Nana, love imagining new designs and making them come to life. From the homeware to the stationery they create a variety of gifts and take nature as their inspiration. “We aim to bring this connection to you through the beautiful natural materials we use to make each individual piece”, said VP. Beginning in 2013 and located in the heart of England where they design and hand-make all their products, they are proud to say that their customer base stretches across the globe. The Keiyosa ethos is to contribute positively to the environment. All of the materials used, therefore, are consciously sourced from sustainable, responsible vendors. The wood used often comes from trees naturally felled in the UK and all of the packaging is environmentally friendly. They even use their wafer-thin wood shavings to help package pieces they make!

Vipul began by making carbon fibre parts for cars and so initially bought a woodworking machine. This then expanded into gift boxes and suddenly commissions started to roll in. As things steadily grew Vipul was approached by a family member who was interested in calligraphy and wanted a drying rack. Vipul created this from scratch and through the popularity of this product, created the transition into bespoke calligraphy and desk stationery. In addition, by maximising social media channels their website and the ecommerce platform Etsy, this has continued to grow at a vast rate. Keiyosa are very much user led and will always try to accommodate request for bespoke products. As the variety of products increased (for example, the entry into the audio furniture market with products including headphone stands) more specialist equipment was required. The purchase of a CNC machine was the start and more was to follow. The need arose for a cutting machine to cut out and engrave cork for use as branding and as an anti-slip base for the Keiyosa products. After looking at several brands he found that Graphtec GB gave peace of mind in both quality and service. “I am very choosy about which suppliers we use. We will only use those that we can recommend to others” admitted VP. When in discussion with Alastair Evans Graphtec’s Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Executive about which model of the Graphtec’s popular Silhouette cutter would

24

The Magazine for the Awards & Imaging Industry

JUNE 2022 TROPHIES AWARDS ENGRAVING DOMING PERSONALISATION SUBLIMATION BESPOKE EMBROIDERY PRINTING IMAGING LASER

be ideal for their needs, the conversation turned to lasers and their versatility. “I had in the past been contacted by various laser suppliers but felt uneasy by the support - or lack of - that was on offer” said VP. Graphtec GB invited Vipul to their premises for a demonstration by the Business Development Executive, Ellen Wain, and he was immediately impressed by the versatility of the WidLaser. Ellen explained that the laser could be used to cut out and engrave at the same time with a precision and accuracy that had previously been unattainable. This was the perfect solution for Keiyosa and it resolved their problem. Ellen gave a follow up training session and what was most pleasing to Vipul was the support he was offered by Graphtec GB “By people who really know their machines. Reassurance that if there are any issues there is onsite support and replacement parts available. No long lead times or for larger problems inadequate tech support over the phone, actual people onsite. Graphtec GB are upfront about what they will offer you in support and service and the capabilities of their machine. Industry knowledge from Graphtec has been vital in helping us move forward with obtaining the most out of the WidLaser system” VP added. Asked how he was getting on with the C500, Vipul explained that the RD Works software “is very easy to pick up, intuitive and works in conjunction with all major industry software such as Adobe which for Keiyosa is a big

twitter / facebook / instagram: @trophexlive

plus point - unlike several other machines whose packaged software is not as polished or as efficient. I was so surprised at the speed of the WidLaser and have had messages from people on Instagram who bought Lasers that cost three times as much and are not as quick” said VP. Keiyosa will now be expanding its products and its use of acrylic. “Cutting acrylic on a CNC can be challenging and it’s so much quicker and cleaner to do it on the laser. The Widlaser has opened up new opportunities and markets. We can make multi-material pieces that were not possible before we had the WidLaser. Incorporating plastics into products, which we can now achieve using the laser, has solved the problem of wood drying out in certain climates. With the laser we can use an acrylic inset cut out with the laser whilst also adding colour and aesthetics to the pieces. The laser has enabled Keiyosa to produce prototyping at a fraction of the cost and time. The laser negates the need for jigs to be made to enable shapes to be cut out accurately. The laser has opened up a world of possibilities and has made a big difference to the way we will be able to work going forward” commented VP.

The WidLaser C500 - the smallest in the WidLaser range - has an engraving area of 500mm x 700mm with variable cutting speeds of up to 90,000mm/min on the C500 model. Key design features include a 150mm adjustable machine height facility, automatic temperature and air control systems and smoke/dust extraction and waste retrieval units. Its compact design is ideal for installation in small work shops where space is invariably at a premium. This was an important element for Vipul whose workshop is narrow and when installation day took place engineer James installed it perfectly into a narrow gap. After which he gave a quick refresher on how to use the WidLaser and made sure Vipul was happy with the settings on the WidLaser and was up and was

running before he left. “I was blown away by the professionalism and service that we received from Graphtec GB. I even received a call from Ellen to check everything was ok and if we had any issues” said VP. Going forward Vipul is excited about the new products he is able to create and the markets that have become available to Keiyosa and looks forwards to a long and successful relationship with Graphtec GB.
