HIMOINSA GENERATOR SETS POWERED BY THE 4HD ENGINE COME IN A RANGE OF POWER RATINGS FROM 20 TO 100 KVA FOR THE 50HZ DIESEL SETS, AND FROM 30 TO 120 KVA FOR THE 60HZ SERIES.
HIMOINSA engine is fitted with air filters with a dirt indicator for dusty environments, and a system for cooling to 50 degrees for the 50-60Hz sets. It is also fitted with an electronic controller and is low maintenance. In order to guarantee quality, it has undergone thorough performance testing, meeting exacting quality standards. As a vertical manufacturer, HIMOINSA is able to supply spare parts for the 4HD engines, offering standard warranties across the entire range, as well as an after-sales service for its engines around the world.
COOLING PACK The cooling system is one of the most important components for an engine’s performance. HIMOINSA has developed a special cooling pack for maximum engine performance.
HHAlternator HIMOINSA produces a selection of its own alternators, which are resistant to extreme climatological conditions. The engineering team has designed alternators that comply with international standards. Compact winding neutralises the centrifugal effect and Dip&Roll impregnation ensures the component is highly resistant to torsional vibration. Our alternators provide maximum protection irrespective of load, stability, reliability and resistance during power generation.
THE HIMOINSA ALTERNATOR IS FITTED WITH AN AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE REGULATOR (AVR), DESIGNED TO EXCEED THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET. IT CAN OPERATE IN ANY WORKING ENVIRONMENT THANKS TO ITS SPECIAL RESIN COATING. The robust design of its rotors is suitable for the operating speeds of drive motors, while its axial fan has an air inlet on the opposite side of the drive system. phase and/or distorted loads, and boasts a very robust steel drive shaft. Voltage is automatically adjusted by an electronic regulator powered by a special winding, which is isolated from the primary winding to protect against overvoltages. HIMOINSA’s alternator assembly line is highly robotised, guaranteeing consistent, excellent product quality and highly resistant soldering. The test beds used for product testing check all the parts comprising the alternator, store test data and generate certifications to rigorous quality standards.
All windings are treated with a special resin to protect them against salt corrosion in marine environments.
Busbar connection system. Six of the busbars can be repositions to configure all the voltage/frequency ratios required in international markets.
The automatic voltage regulator (AVR) has been designed to exceed international standards, while its special resin coating means it can be used in any operating conditions.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
AS A VERTICAL MANUFACTURER, HIMOINSA CAN PRODUCE VERSATILE AND INTUITIVE CONTROLLERS THAT SIMPLIFY USE AND CONTROL OF THE DIESEL GENERATORS AND PROVIDE ADDED VALUE, MAKING IT EASIER TO ADAPT TO SPECIFIC CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS AND ENSURING ALL SPARE PARTS ARE EASILY AVAILABLE.
The controller CEA7, just like the rest of the family made up by the measure and visualization modules, supervises and controls the genset and the mains. With a controller we get an automatic system that manages the genset and supervises and controls the transfer switch at the same time.
The controller CEC7 has two modules: measure and visualization. It supervises and controls the mains and it is connected to the controller CEM7 by CAN, obtaining a completely autonomous emergency system.
HIMOINSA manufactures external transfer panels (automatic transfer switches, ATS) to switch power supply between the generator set and the grid. This part has been designed with a comprehensive electrical mechanism offering fast power switch-over times for the standby market.

THE HIMOINSA ATS IS FITTED WITH THE CEC7 CONTROLLER UNIT WHICH MONITORS THE GRID AND DETECTS ANY OUTAGES.
HIMOINSA transfer panels are fitted with a manual emergency kill switch and have been manufactured to comply with current quality standards. The switch over is performed using a motorised switch for amperages equal to or higher than 400 A, while a pair of electrically and mechanically held contactors are used when amperages are below 400 A.
