A continuous etched line extends across the steel covers, the inside of the box and to the pages, in various directions, mirroring Rumi’s parable of the painting contest between the Greeks and Romans. The pages are cut in two diagonally opposing suites to indicate the English and Persian sections and are separated by hand-made paper.
