2012年畢業於法國勒芒藝術學校，創作以插畫為主，近年展出包括《COME WITH ME》 （香港，2020）。 Graduated from Le Mans Art & Design School in 2012, Amazingmei’s works focus on illustration. Recent exhibition include COME WITH ME (Hong Kong, 2020).
本名文美美，筆名 Amazingmei 美美子。 2006年開始畫畫，2009年至2012年於法國勒芒藝術學校就讀藝術。一直以黑白色插 畫為主，紀錄沒有實體的情緒感受。以「痛」為主軸，通過插畫、行為藝術、編織表達 出來。 經過多年的迷失，從2019年參與行為藝術家Marina Abramović「Cleaning the house」 工作坊接觸到內觀，同年亦有緣遇上一行禪師提倡的「正念」，開始身心轉化，為愛修 習。 發願以畫畫分享愛，一起學習如何好好與內在情緒相處，一起尋找真正的自己，一起為 自己找回一片內在的和平淨土。
Amazingmei（a.k.a. Mei-mei Man) started drawing since 2006 and received formal art trainings at Le Mans Art & Design School, France from 2009 to 2012. I have always been using black and white illustrations to record nonentity emotional feelings. Taking ‘Pain’ as the main line of exploration, I seek to express it through illustrations, performance art and knitting. After years of feeling lost in life, I learnt about Vipassanā from participating the
Cleaning the house workshop by the world renowned Serbian performance artist, Marina Abramović in 2019. I also encountered the idea of mindfulness advocated by the Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh in the same year. I have begun to transform my body and mind through the practice of Vipassanā meditation and practicing mindfulness for love. I made a wish of sharing love with people through my drawings. Learning with people how to get along well with the inner emotions and finding the trueself together. Discovering the inner peace and a pure land for ourselves.
《宇宙力量》 「我相信當我們真心想做好一件事的時候，全宇宙都會聯合起來，幫助你， 支持你。」 這是美美子與星子人相遇之後一起生活所發生的故事。星子人就是宇宙，他幫助、 支持、鼓勵和陪伴美美子渡過每一天。他教導美美子，當下是過去努力活好和為 了未來預備的時刻，當下是最好的，同時星子人亦幫助美美子尋找真正的自己。 過程中遇上代表我們內在情緒和感受的情緒BB，他們會以不同身份出現， 讓美美子學習如何好好與內在情緒相處。
The Power of the Universe “I believe when we truly want to make something works, the universe will join forces to help and support you.”
This is a story of Amazingmei’s life with Starson after they met each other. Starson is the universe, he helps, supports, encourages and accompanies Amazingmei every day. He teaches Amazingmei that the present is the time accumulated from a well-spent past and is also the time for preparing the future to come. The present is the best, Starson is also helping Amazingmei to find her trueself. On the journey, Amazingmei will meet emotional babies in different forms, they represent our inner emotions and feelings, and they are here to help Amazingmei learn how to live peacefully with her emotion.
