黎曉蓉 Eunice Hiu-yung LAI thisbakery 2017年 畢 業 於 香 港 浸 會 大 學 視 覺 藝 術 院 ， 曾 到 意 大 利 博 洛 尼 亞 藝 術 學 院交流。現職插畫家、漫畫家、設計師，亦開設一間麵包店。近年展 出包括第三屆Frame布拉格漫畫藝術節（2019），並獲漫畫藝 術節 The Art of Hate Comic Competition特別獎。 Eunice Hiu-yung Lai graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts of Hong Kong Baptist University in 2017 and has participated in exchange programme in Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna, Italy. She is an illustrator, comics artist, designer and bakery owner. Recent exhibition includes The Third FRAME Prague Comics Art Festival (2019). She was also awarded special mentions in The Art of Hate Comic Competition in the festival.
經過了一些日子，我再沒有定義自己為一個插畫師或畫漫畫的人，再沒有一個 很想擁有的名銜。雖然我真的很喜歡畫畫和寫故事。 我想經驗生活，旅行，在世界周圍走，尋找自己和跟世界分享我覺得重要的 事。想把自己沉浸在未知，希望自己有勇氣去面對不同的事情。（如果這些都 是令我快樂的事就最好了。） 希望透過運用 / 抒發我有的東西、想像跟創意，可以為世界帶來一些靈感或新 的可能性，然後在過程中得到一些東西支持我的生活或累積一些價值。還有享 受生活和自由。現在心裡的座右銘：
Experience always stays. If not now, then when. It’s no big deal. 現時為止，我希望自己能再奉獻多一點在畫畫、治療（內在）上，還有開始研 究塔羅。心靈上的學習和自我尋找在我生活佔了越來越大的部份。 麵包曾經是我的世界，那時開了一間麵包店：@尼間麵包店（仍在運行，但不 止於造麵包）。
After these years, I don’t define myself solely as an illustrator or comics artist although I love drawing and creating stories so much. I wanna experience life, travel around the world, find myself and share with the world. I wanna submerge myself into the unknowns (I wish they are happy ones.) It is my dream to earn my living or accumulate values through expressing my talents and creativity to inspire people. And enjoy life and freedom.
Experience always stays. If not now, then when. It’s no big deal. (This is my current motto) For the time being, I wanna devote myself more to drawing, healing and starting my journey in tarots/ astrology discovery. Spiritual and selfdiscovery are forming a big part of my life. Bread was once my whole world, I operated a bakery at that time: @ThisBakery (still running, but not limited to bread making).

FrrrTrrr This is a story about a strange encounter and a quest for freedom.
Trees can’t sit. Trees can’t move. Trees can’t rest. But, who says that? You do what you want.
The encounter lets both human and tree to find freedom and precious things within or beyond one’s own world.
