第五十二屆香港藝術節隆重舉行,可喜可賀。

歷經五十餘年,香港藝術節已成為享譽國際的文化盛 事。今屆藝術節續放異彩,雲集約1,400名本地及海 外藝術家,帶來逾150場不同類型的表演,由音樂、 歌劇、戲曲,以至戲劇、舞蹈、跨媒體藝術和大型特 備節目等,必定是另一場令人難忘的藝術盛宴。

今屆藝術節以李察.史特勞斯的《拿索斯島的亞莉安 妮》揭開序幕,由巴伐利亞國立歌劇院獻上這齣莊諧 並重的精妙劇作,令人期待。個多月後,上海芭蕾舞

團將呈獻中國與法國聯合製作的《花樣年華》,作為 藝術節的閉幕表演。這齣精彩絕倫、中西協作的芭蕾 舞劇,正好反映香港獨特的中西創意文化根源,並彰 顯我們作為中外文化藝術交流中心的重要地位。今年 藝術節匯聚全球各地佳作,包括別具一格的「聚焦當 代阿拉伯」系列,更形豐富多采。

我對香港的文藝創意事業前景充滿信心。政府銳意竭 盡所能,鼓勵本地藝術家奮發向上,並確保他們獲 得所需和應得的表演機會。正如我在《施政報告》所 述,新成立的文創產業發展處每年會推動60個業界考 察團、海外展覽及其他文化展演活動;「電影發展基 金」和「創意智優計劃」共獲注資43億元,以支持本 港電影業;「重點演藝項目計劃」亦即將推出,協助 本地大型表演藝術創作,以及培育代表香港的國際文 化品牌。

政府會繼續與各界攜手合作,積極推動文化藝術及創 意業界的發展。

我感謝香港藝術節團隊一直堅持不懈,為藝術奉獻心 力;並感謝各贊助商和善長鼎力支持,令藝術節異彩 紛呈。

I am pleased to congratulate the Hong Kong Arts Festival on the organisation of its 52nd edition.

Over this past half century and more, the Hong Kong Arts Festival has grown into a celebrated international cultural event. This year promises to be another memorable Festival, featuring about 1,400 overseas and local artists in more than 150 performances across multiple genres, from music, opera and Chinese opera to theatre, dance, multi-arts and large-scale special events.

This year’s Festival opens with the Bayerische Staatsoper’s presentation of Richard Strauss’ Ariadne auf Naxos, a bravura mingling of high art and comedy. It closes, more than a month later, with the Sino-French coproduction of the Shanghai Ballet’s A Sigh of Love. This inspired East-West collaboration reflects Hong Kong’s singular East-West creative and cultural roots and our growing role as an East-meets-West centre for international cultural exchange. Indeed, this year’s Festival is rife with performances from all over the world, including a special Arab Arts Focus series.

I believe in Hong Kong’s creative promise, and my Government is determined to do all it can to encourage our local artists and ensure that they have the performance access they need and deserve. As I mentioned in my Policy Address, our newly established Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency will promote 60 industry missions, overseas exhibitions and other cultural showcases annually; a total of $4.3 billion will be injected into the Film Development Fund and the CreateSmart Initiative to support our film industry; and the Signature Performing Arts Programme Scheme will be launched to assist largescale, local performing arts productions and nurture the development of Hong Kong cultural brands internationally. The Government will continue to work hand in hand with relevant sectors to proactively promote the development of arts, culture and creative industries.

I am grateful to the Hong Kong Arts Festival for its longstanding commitment to the arts, and to the Festival’s many sponsors and donors for their generous support.

A world of arts and cultural spectacle and entertainment awaits Hong Kong. I know you will enjoy every dazzling moment of this year’s Hong Kong Arts Festival.

I warmly welcome you to the 52nd Hong Kong Arts Festival. Thank you for your staunch support, especially during and after the tumultuous period brought by the pandemic. With the Festival now back in full swing, we cherish this opportunity to come together once again and appreciate the arts with you. As we celebrate the Festival’s full-scale comeback and contemplate the development of the arts in this ever-changing environment, I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has played a critical role in nurturing and sustaining the performing arts scene.

I would like to thank the HKSAR Government, acting through the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, which has graciously provided an annual subvention that serves as the bedrock of our ongoing efforts. 走過半世紀的香港藝術節,一直為國際與本地最優秀 的表演者搭建舞台,積極促進中外文化交流。經歷了 三年疫情的洗禮,藝術節終於在第52屆再度迎來「花 樣年華」,在全面復常的狀態下再度為本地觀眾與遊 客獻上今天和明日的經典,不單讓大家可以從眾多音 樂、舞蹈、戲劇、戲曲和多媒體作品中重新細賞遺世 瑰寶,更邀來多位重量級中外大師坐鎮,陣容鼎盛、 豐富多元,足以滿足不同觀眾群體的喜好。

For more than half a century, the Hong Kong Arts Festival has provided a stage for the most outstanding local and international performers, and actively enhanced cultural exchanges between China and the rest of the world. After three years of the pandemic, we are delighted to come back in full force and present to local audiences and overseas visitors treasured classics of today and tomorrow. Our programme features an eclectic lineup of music, dance, theatre, Chinese opera and multimedia productions, with a range of Chinese and international legends set to command the stage. With such a rich and diverse programme, there is something to delight everyone.

This year, our ongoing support for the development of local artists provides opportunities for them to flex their creative muscles through collaborations with leading artists from all over the world. At the same time, we also empower artists to innovate through the power of technology and create refreshing experiences for our audiences.

An International Arts Festival in Hong Kong Connecting China and the World

香港藝術節 於1973年正式揭幕,是國際藝壇中重要的 文化盛事,於每年2、3月期間呈獻眾多優秀本地及國 際藝術家的演出,以及舉辦多元化的「加料」和教育 活動,致力豐富香港的文化生活。

香港藝術節 是一所非牟利機構,2023/24財政年度預 計收入(包括第52屆香港藝術節及2024年「無限亮」) 約港幣一億五千萬,當中香港特區政府的年度撥款佔 總收入約12%,另外約25%需來自票房收入,約48% 則須依賴來自各大企業、熱心人士和慈善基金會的贊 助和捐款。預計餘下的約15%則來自其他收入,包括 政府針對捐款和贊助收入而提供的配對資助。

香港藝術節 積極與本地演藝人才合作,並致力為新進 藝術家提供展示才華的平台。藝術節至今委約及製 作逾250套本地全新創作,包括粵劇、戲劇、室內歌 劇、音樂和舞蹈作品,不少製作更已在香港及海外多 度重演。近年的藝術節新製作包括《飯戲攻心》踏台 版、《末戀 無愛合約》、《我們最快樂》、《鼠疫》、 《陪着你走》、《百花亭贈劍》、《香港家族》三部曲、

The HKAF, launched in 1973, is a major international arts festival committed to enriching the cultural life of the city by presenting leading local and international artists in all genres of the performing arts, as well as a diverse range of “PLUS” and educational events, in February and March each year.

The HKAF is a non-profit organisation. The total estimated income for FY2023/24 (including the 52nd Hong Kong Arts Festival and 2024 “No Limits” programme) is approximately HK$150 million. Current Government annual funding accounts for around 12% of the Festival’s total income. Around 25% of the Festival’s income needs to come from the box office, and around 48% from sponsorship and donations by corporations, individuals and charitable foundations. The remaining 15% is expected to come from other revenue sources including the Government’s matching grant scheme, which matches income generated through private-sector sponsorship and donations.

The HKAF has presented top international artists and ensembles across multiple genres, such as*:

The HKAF actively collaborates with Hong Kong’s own creative talent and showcases emerging local artists. Over the years, HKAF has commissioned and produced more than 250 local productions across various genres including Cantonese opera, theatre, chamber opera, music and contemporary dance, many with successful subsequent runs in Hong Kong and overseas. Recent HKAF productions include Table for Six on Stage, Loveless Romance, We Are Gay, The Plague, Always by Your Side, Pavilion of a Hundred Flowers, A Floating Family–A Trilogy, Hong Kong Odyssey, Danz Up, Datong–The Chinese Utopia, The Amahs and Murder in San Jose, to name a few.

香港藝術節 大力投資下一代的藝術教育。「青少年之 友」成立31年來,已為逾820,000位本地中學生及大專 生提供藝術體驗活動。藝術節近年亦開展多項針對大、 中、小學生的藝術教育活動,包括由國際及本地藝術家 主持的示範講座及工作坊、學生展演、演前講座、公開 彩排以及欣賞藝術節演出。同時,通過「學生票捐助計 劃」,藝術節每年提供約10,000張半價學生票。

香港藝術節每年主辦一系列多元化並深入社區的「加料 節目」,例如電影放映、示範講座、大師班、工作坊、 座談會、後台參觀、展覽、藝人談、文化導賞團等, 鼓勵觀眾與藝術家互動接觸。

香港藝術節亦銳意將共融藝術理念拓展到社區每一角 落。由藝術節與香港賽馬會慈善信託基金聯合呈獻 的「無限亮」計劃於2019年正式開展,透過一系列的 演出及多元的教育及社區外展節目,「無限亮」致力 創造共融空間,讓不同能力人士均可以一同欣賞、參 與、擁抱藝術。

為創造更穩健的財政環境以及確保藝術節的長期可持 續性, 香港藝術節基金會 於2022年成立,旨在讓藝術 節在未來進行年度預算以外的大型特別項目。

The HKAF frequently partners with renowned international artists and institutions to produce exceptional works, such as Der Fensterputzer (The Window Washer), co-produced by the HKAF, Goethe-Institut Hong Kong and Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch; Richard III and The Tempest, produced by The Old Vic, BAM and Neal Street under “The Bridge Project” with the HKAF as a co-commissioning institution; Green Snake, co-commissioned with the Shanghai International Arts Festival; Dream of the Red Chamber, co-produced with the San Francisco Opera; and Laila, a co-production of the HKAF and the Finnish National Opera and Ballet.

The HKAF invests heavily in arts education for young people. During the past 31 years, our “Young Friends” scheme has reached more than 820,000 local secondary and tertiary school students. A variety of arts education projects serving primary, secondary, and tertiary school students have been launched in recent years, featuring activities such as student showcases, pre-performance talks, open rehearsals, opportunities to attend Festival performances, as well as in-school workshops and lecture demonstrations led by international and local artists. Donations to the “Student Ticket Scheme” also make available approximately 10,000 halfprice student tickets each year.

The HKAF organises a diverse range of “Festival PLUS” activities in community locations each year to enhance engagement between artists and audiences. These include films, lecture demonstrations, masterclasses, workshops, symposia, backstage visits, exhibitions, meet-the-artist sessions and guided cultural tours.

The HKAF actively promotes inclusion via the arts to every corner of the community. The “No Limits” project, co-presented with The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, was launched in 2019. Through a series of performances and diverse arts experiences for students and the community, “No Limits” strives to create an inclusive space for people with different abilities to share the joy of the arts together.

To provide greater financial security and long-term sustainability for the Festival, the Hong Kong Arts Festival Foundation was officially launched in 2022. Donations to the Foundation will be used towards enabling the Festival to present in the future large-scale projects which its annual budget cannot cater for.

The original version of The Smile Off Your Face was produced by Ontroerend Goed in co-operation with the KASK School of Arts, Ghent. It was originally directed by Sophie De Somere and Joeri Smet.

The original version of The Smile Off Your Face won six international awards including the Fringe First Award and the Total Theatre Award in Edinburgh, and was included on The Guardian̓s list of the 50 best performances of the 21st century in 2019. It was the only Flemish show on the list.

In Conversation with Coaches Aurélie Lannoy and Charlotte De Bruyne

連諾:《一個人的微笑》是我第一次當演員 的作品。當時是2004年,我才二十一歲,剛 畢業,這也開始了我與Ontroerend Goed 的漫長合作。這個劇團當時已經成立了好幾 年,但直到愛丁堡的藝穗節後,此表演才把 我們推至世界舞台。

Lannoy: The Smile off Your Face was my first professional experience as a player. It was in 2004. I was 21 and had just graduated. It was also the beginning of my long collaboration with Ontroerend Goed. The company had been going for a few years, but this performance really launched us abroad, after our passage at the Fringe in Edinburgh.

De Bruyne: I was 16 when I first saw the performance at Arca in Ghent. Alexander Devriendt, whom I already knew through the Kopergietery, the youth theatre in Ghent where Ontroerend Goed was then working on Pubers Bestaan Niet (from “Once And For All We̓re Gonna Tell You Who We Are So Shut Up And Listen”), told me they were looking for “rollers” for a “very cool performance”. He asked me if I wanted to join. Just before I was going to spend a whole day driving people around in a wheelchair myself, I was allowed to “watch”. I immediately saw a performance that could be anything, where all conventions were thrown overboard. Theatre could and suddenly was allowed to be anything. It was a very intimate experience. It was my first Ontroerend Goed performance. I haven̓t left since.

Lannoy: I am still very grateful to have been part of this incredible adventure and to have toured around the world so much and for so long. It also taught me a lot as a young actor. Playing the same scene every five minutes, in front of an

連諾:我們在這個年代,人與人之間的距離 愈發複雜,讓我得重新思考表演時與觀眾的 距離感。由於疫情,我們學會了與別人保持 距離。我們也意識到,世界已不再一樣:你 不能隨意接觸他人。敢於表演此作品也是一 個很好的機會去審視這個問題。

德布勞內:最初得悉要在疫情下重新製作這 個表演,簡直覺得倒霉至極。但其實在這狀 況下,更能吸引觀眾參與。人們比以往任何

audience of only one spectator and for six hours a day: it̓s a great challenge, also because as a group and as a player, you always have to keep looking for the fun, to guarantee quality and commitment for each new spectator.

De Bruyne: The Smile Off Your Face has toured around the world and reached thousands of people. The show is now almost 20 years old and almost didn̓t play in recent years, mainly because certain elements were outdated. The world has changed enormously, and so has the way we as a company perceive it and what we want to tell with our work. The core of The Smile remained relevant, but the elaboration needed to be revisited. It seemed an ideal opportunity to do this with a new generation, so our collaboration with the KASK School of Arts was the perfect moment.

Lannoy: I also found it relevant to rethink a performance about intimacy at a time when intimacy with others has become more complex. We learned to keep our distance from each other because of the pandemic, but even apart from that we are in a different world: you don̓t just touch people anymore. So it̓s good to dare to revisit this performance.

De Bruyne: It initially felt like a curse to have to redevelop this performance in a full pandemic, but it sharpened the need enormously. People are more skin hungry than ever, more in need of the connections that they have long missed. It gave

連諾:觀眾反應確實非常正面。一些看過舊 版的人稱這個版本更出色。同時,我也很驚 訝地發現有些人在觀賞後,再次覺得感動及 迷惘。對我來說,這樣的情景就像穿梭時間; 一方面我回到了過去,看見我熟悉的場景; 另一方面,我也窺見了與全新團隊合作、為 未來數十年做好準備的自己。

us enormous energy to create a gift for so many individual audience within these constraints.

Lannoy: Using face masks, disinfectants and distance to create a one-to-one performance with a group of 15 young students: it was a quest. To create a beautiful boundary between safety and intimacy. But the performance got better, more qualitative. We had no room for easy choices, to just redo “the old”. Touching someone̓s hand means something different than it did two years ago, and we wanted to bring that intimacy into the new version.

De Bruyne: It still amazes me how deep this performance goes for many people, and how multi-interpretable The Smile Off Your Face is. That̓s the greatest strength of this performance, I think it̓s like a good abstract piece in which you can find what you need at that moment in your life.

Lannoy: The reactions have been very positive. Some people who had seen the original version thought this version was even better. At the same time, I was surprised to see people come out completely moved and disoriented again. It was like a jump in time for me, both backwards—I saw the image I knew from then—and a glimpse of the future with a new team, ready for the coming decades.

自2000年初創團以來,比利時Ontroerend Goed開創出自己的創作路向;他們經常將觀 眾置於不安的處境,以挑戰觀眾的底線。

Belgian theatre company Ontroerend Goed has gone out of its way to challenge audiences and take them to uncomfortable places since it was established in the early 2000s.

“This is what I̓m motivated by,” says the company̓s Artistic Director, Alexander Devriendt. “There are several reasons why I push these boundaries: as metaphor—if you can push the boundaries of the medium, you can do so of society. Also, since movies and TV have taken over, I think theatre should question its own role, redefine what it is.”

Like all of its works, the two productions Ontroerend Goed is bringing to the Hong Kong Arts Festival seek to show how we construct most of our reality from ideas in our heads— and the results can be disquieting. The Smile Off Your Face and A Game of You, which are performed in that order and clock in at a lean 30 minutes each, are among the company̓s greatest hits, performed repeatedly over the years.

Ontroerend Goed completely upends the usual theatrical dynamics by making the audience active participants in creating the show. Or, rather, an active participant—because, in the ultimate example of the company throwing all conventions out of the window, the shows both feature an audience of precisely one person.

“I don̓t like interactive theatre necessarily, one that feels like a workshop,” says Devriendt. “The visitor should never be responsible for the artistic content, but I want you to keep living while we̓re doing the show. A one-on-one show is something joyful, communal, different.”

In A Game of You, the audience member progresses through a series of small rooms containing large mirrors, having a series of strange and at times awkward encounters in which they̓re asked about their life, and then challenged to do the same thing to the subsequent visitor. A test of people̓s reactions to unfamiliar situations and lines of enquiry, it̓s also an unsettling lesson in how you appear to other people that seeks to provide audience members with a new sort of selfknowledge.

「對我而言,藝術應該要挑戰我們的世界 觀。我希望挑戰自己的世界觀,進而挑戰觀眾 的世界觀。我希望我的藝術能夠促進討論,成 為世界的一部分。」

“I think it̓s an invitation to introspection: to question the way you look at the world and the way the world looks at you,” says Devriendt. “It̓s about how different versions of the self are existing in this world.”

The Smile Off Your Face is the show that made the company̓s name, first performed more than 15 years ago. The audience member is tied up and blindfolded while seated in a wheelchair, then exposed to a range of different forms of sensory stimulation, in an experience that is frequently described as unexpectedly emotional.

The show, which Devriendt characterises as “a massage for the mind”, has been performed more than 8,000 times over the years, and it keeps evolving. The company keeps coming back to it, he says, because “it̓s still relevant and it still touches people”.

“It̓s such a joyous thing to do. I remember the first time we put people in a wheelchair, blindfolded—it̓s something no other medium can do. It̓s never stopped being exciting. What I love about theatre as a medium is it allows for a lot of experimentation; you can have any other artform within it.”

Staging this kind of show, he adds, is also a responsibility and the performers always need to be aware of the boundaries of their audience. “I will never ask a visitor to do something they don̓t want to do.”

Those boundaries, of course, are sure to differ geographically, and the company̓s work gets different reactions in different parts of the world—but perhaps not as different as you̓d expect. “What I̓ve learned from playing all over the world is that I̓m baffled by how similar we are, not how different,” says Devriendt.

“Art, for me, should challenge your worldview: I want to challenge my own worldview and then that of the audience member. What I want my art to do is add to the discussion and be part of the world.”

Theatre performance-group Ontroerend Goed (a pun that roughly translates as “Feel Estate”) produces self-devised work grounded in the here and now, inviting its audiences to participate as well as observe. Covering a history of the universe in one evening, turning spectators into voters who eliminate actors, guiding strangers through a labyrinth of mirrors and avatars to meet themselves, the company has made it its trademark to be unpredictable in content and form.

It first emerged on the international scene in 2007 with The Smile Off Your Face, a one-on-one show in which the audience is tied to a wheelchair and then blindfolded. Its hit show Once and for All We̓re Gonna Tell You Who We Are So Shut Up and Listen was an uncompromising celebration of raw teenage energy on stage. Since then, the Belgian company has won numerous prizes across Europe and has hit New York, Sydney, London to critical acclaim. Ontroerend Goed tours worldwide and creates remakes of its productions in other languages: there are versions in Russian, French, Putonghua, Cantonese and Kazakh, among others.

Ontroerend Goed delivers intense experiences built in the reality of theatre. Convinced that life goes on during a performance, the group fabricates possible realities that question how we as individuals position ourselves in the world today. Director Alexander Devriendt

Alexander Devriendt (born 1977) is the Artistic Director and one of the founders of Belgian theatre performance group Ontroerend Goed. His past work includes the creation of the personal theatre trilogy (The Smile Off Your Face, Internal and A Game of You), the celebrated teenage play (Once and For All We̓re Gonna Tell You Who We Are So Shut Up and Listen). His most recent productions are £¥€$, Funeral and Are we not drawn onward to new erA. His plays have won several awards and are performed all over the world, recently performing in Shanghai, the USA and Edinburgh.

Coach Karolien De Bleser

Karolien De Bleser (born 1980) graduated as an actor at the RITS (Brussels) in 2004 and went on to get another degree in Theatre Sciences. She worked for different companies, including Zuidpool and Luxemburg, and is part of the artistic core of Ontroerend Goed, where she has been working and co-creating since 2006. Karolien is one of the founding members of compagnie barbarie, where she̓s been creating, playing and directing new work for more than 15 years now.

Coach Samir Veen

Samir Veen started acting at a young age and has participated in more than 40 film and television productions. He graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Maastricht in 2016, and has since been acting and writing for a broad range of theatres and festivals throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. He worked on several Ontroerend Goed productions, such as A Game of You, £¥€$ and T.M., before he joined the artistic core in early 2023. Veen visited Hong Kong twice before to direct a remake of £¥€$ for the Hong Kong Arts Festival in 2019.

Coach Eliza Stuyck

Eliza Stuyck is a Belgian actress who has been acting on screen since an early age. Her first role was in In Flanders Fields in 2014, which kickstarted her career with subsequent roles in movies such as Vincent (2016), The Scent of a Forest (2021) and more recently Inside (2023), alongside Willem Dafoe. Offscreen, Stuyck has performed in A Game of You by Ontroerend Goed, and she will coach the Hong Kong remake of this production.

翁世卉是國際戲劇製作人,抱風嶼Tempest Projects創辦人,十五年來專注於國際戲劇合作 項目。她曾在英國多所國家藝術院團工作,擔任 皇家莎士比亞劇團的製作人、蘇格蘭國家劇院聯 合製作人、創意蘇格蘭基金會中國項目顧問等。

2022年,抱風嶼和比利時劇團Ontroerend Goed 合作, 在上海首演一對一劇場《一個人的遊戲》 和《一個人的微笑》的普通話版本,並成功駐演 六個月。

Producer Shihui Weng

Shihui Weng is a creative producer and cultural broker for the performing arts based in London and Shanghai. She founded Tempest Projects in 2021 focusing on commissioning new work with an international perspective. Weng and Ontroerend Goed premiered the Putonghua versions of A Game of You and The Smile Off Your Face in mainland China in 2022. Between 2011 to 2021, Weng has worked in a wide range of national arts institutions as a producer including the Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre of Scotland and Creative Scotland.

Cal

Cal has been dancing for more than 10 years, with extensive experience in tap and folk dance. To further his education in tap dancing, he has visited the UK, the USA, Germany, Sweden, Russia and more. He holds an Associate Diploma from The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing.

Cal is the Founder and Director of STEP OUT Studios, located in the Tai Po Arts Centre, which aims to promote performing arts in the community. He recently finished touring with the production Where Our Rhythm Echoes and the local tour “Take The First Step”, with local musicians Nate Wong and Jerold Chu.

Holmes Cheung

Holmes Cheung is a cross-media artist and performer. As an actor, dramaturge, dancer, choreographer, video and graphic designer, curator and more, Cheung has participated in various arts festivals, performances and artist residencies in France, Hungary, South Korea, Beijing, Macau and Taiwan. His recent experimental creations include Cheung Lee-hung, Relatively LIVE, Live and Makye Ame (Hong Kong and Taiwan version). He has also performed in Good Fortune, Beyond This Time, Burmese Days, and Lightening among other performance projects.

Terrence Leung

Terrence Leung is a drama graduate from the University of Southern California. He works as a freelance actor while exploring new opportunities to make art and give back to the community. Recently the 14th Hong Kong Theatre Libre nominated him as Best Actor in a Leading Role. His skills lie in performing, bodybuilding and cooking, which he sees as the three main elements needed to provide an audience with an enjoyable experience.

The Smile Off Your Face Performer Carman Li

Carman Li graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in in Contemporary Dance. She has since expanded her career as a professional dancer and performer, through crossdisciplinary, collaborative and experimental projects, both locally and internationally. She won the Outstanding Actress Award at the 13th Hong Kong Theatre Libre 2021 for her performance in 2021 Who Killed the Elephant. Li has collaborated with local artists including Emily Ng, Joseph Lee, Chan Wai-lok, Rex Cheng, K.T. Yau, Dick Wong, Kenneth Hui and more. etc. And she has collaborated with foreign choreographers such as Adrienn Hód, Emmanuelle Vo Dinh, Henrique Furtado and Aloun Marchal.

沈卓瑤於2023年從香港演藝學 院戲劇學院畢業,主修表演,目 前是一位自由身演員。她自小就 對舞台充滿熱情,曾代表香港兒 童合唱團參與世界各地的國際音 樂節,進行交流表演。

她曾在西九文化區與天台 製作的《天真與世故之歌》擔任 演員、編曲及合唱指導。在學期 間,她參與了劇目《點解去咗莫 斯科?》的演出並擔任作曲家, 還在《戲論.十牛》中擔任演員 和編舞。

The Smile Off Your Face Performer Sherrain Sum

Now a freelance actress, Sherrain Shum graduated from the School of Drama at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) in 2023, majoring in Acting. Dedicated to performing from a young age, Shum has served as a representative of the Hong Kong Children̓s Choir and participated in worldwide choral festivals.

Her theatre credits include actress, music arrangements and choral practice leader for West Kowloon x Rooftop Productions̓ Songs of Innocence And Experience. At the HKAPA, she participated in Moscow… Why? as an actress and a composer and The Ten Oxen of Ours as an actress and choreographer.

Richelia Yeung graduated from the School of Drama at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), majoring in Acting. She was a recipient of various scholarships during her studies at the HKAPA. She previously graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University̓s School of Communication, majoring in International Journalism.

Yeung̓s professional theatre credits include the concept musical Draft My Life, Last Ride, Fresh Eyes presented at Tai Kwun's SPOTLIGHT: A Season of Performing Arts, and The Attic by Theatre Formula. Other theatre credits during her acting studies include Moscow...Why? and Le Malade Imaginaire.

Emily Yuen

Emily Yuen graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University's Creative Film Production programme, majoring in Acting. She works as a freelance performer in theatre and music, while also working in art design for advertisements and television series.

Passionate about acting, Yuen has participated in notable projects such as Baptist University's graduate work When The Hair Floats and in the film Once In A Blue Moon. Yuen has also played jazz drums for almost a decade, achieving the highest level in the UK’s RSL Professional Diploma in drums.

Zoe Chan is a professional freelance performer, performing arts tutor and the Deputy Director of STEP OUT Studios, based in Hong Kong. She received musical theatre and dance training from Bird College in the UK, and has performed in various theatre and commercial productions locally and in countries such as the UK, Canada and Australia.

Chan has worked with companies/artists such as Ontroerend Goed (Belgium), the OzAsia Festival (Australia), the Hong Kong Arts Festival, Tai Kwun and David Glass (UK). She has also featured in various music videos, commercials and short films.

A Game of You Performer Inês Kuan

Inês Kuan graduated from the University of Macau, majoring in English Studies. She is a core member of Comuna de Pedra in Macau. Kuan is currently a freelance artist working in different performance art forms and educational work. She has worked with various performance groups in Macau and has recently performed in various, television programmes and dubbing works.

Kuan̓s recent performances include £¥€$ (Lies) presented at the Hong Kong Arts Festival and Macau Arts Festival; A Doomsday Memorandum; The Vanished Figures; and The Pedra Sidequel: To Frank. Her directorial works include The Kidult Man, The Peakture, Tin Can and In Space, Another Time.

黎青平受訓於法國巴黎賈克.樂 寇國際戲劇學校及英國倫敦大學 皇家中央演講及戲劇學院,並分 別獲頒表演證書(形體劇場)及 應用戲劇碩士學位。

她曾與歐洲及本地多個團體 與藝術節合作,從事導演、表演 及戲劇教育工作超過十年。2012 年,她獲西班牙卡斯蒂利亞-萊 昂高等藝術學院邀請主持形體工 作坊,成為該校首位華人導師。 她在2018年成立「點.創作」, 致力於推動創意教育。

A Game of You Performer Priscilla Lai

Priscilla Lai graduated from the École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in France and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in the UK, where she gained her performance certificate (Physical Theatre) and Master of Arts in Applied Theatre.

Lai has performed in various theatre organisations and festivals in Europe and Hong Kong, and has worked as a director, performer and theatre educator for over 10 years. In 2012, Priscilla was invited to teach movement workshops for Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático de Castilla y León in Spain and became the first teacher of Chinese descent invited by the school. In 2018, she founded DOTs Creation to promote creative education.

莫倩婷畢業於比利時布魯塞爾拉 薩德國際表演學校。2007年畢 業於澳門大學,主修英語。她現 為石頭公社主席、導演和演員。

2021年,她創辦了「Todos Fest!」 共融藝術節,並擔任藝術總監。

她自2006年開始從事導演 工作,曾編導三十多個作品,並 多次在台灣和澳門,以及泰國、 法國、英國、葡萄牙、巴西等演 出。她的導演作品《The Mute Quire》於2014年在愛爾蘭戈威 爾藝穗節上獲最佳國際演出大 獎。

顏俊豪出生於澳洲墨爾本。畢業 於墨爾本大學,主修文學。其後 在香港演藝學院進修,獲得英國 商業與技術教育委員會的表演藝 術5級國家高級文憑(音樂劇)。

他是一位多才多藝的表演者 及導演,在香港曾參與多個文藝 演出活動,以及國際巡迴演出, 其中包括音樂劇、戲劇、電視、 電影廣告及私人製作活動。

除了個人的演藝活動,他也 是演藝導師,專攻歌唱、演戲和 舞蹈,致力為下一代表演者作出 貢獻。

Jenny Mok

Jenny Mok graduated from the École LASSAAD International School of Theatre in Belgium. In 2007, she also graduated from the University of Macau, majoring in English. She is currently the President, Director and Actress of Comuna de Pedra. In 2021, she founded the inclusive arts festival Todos Fest! as its Artistic Director.

A Game of You Performer Vida Wu

Marc Ngan is a Hong Kongbased performer, educator and creator, specialising in musical theatre. With more than 10 years of industry experience, he is highly sought-after as a performer, director, scriptwriter, emcee and corporate coach.

Vida Wu is an actor, director and playwright. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Wu graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (majoring in Acting) and received various scholarships and awards at school.

Since 2006, Mok has directed over 30 performance works and led tours in places like Taiwan and Macau, as well as Thailand, France, the UK, Portugal and Brazil. In 2014, Mok won the award for Best International Performance at the Galway Fringe Festival for her directorial work The Mute Quire

Ngan has worked on projects for the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, the Hong Kong Arts Festival, Hong Kong Opera and Hong Kong International Airport, to name a few.

He has written two full-length musicals, The Miracle of Music and Butterfly Lovers. In 2023, he co-founded Dragonesque, a theatre company dedicated to developing musical theatre in Hong Kong.

Wu has worked with many theatre companies including the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, the Chung Ying Theatre Company, Actors̓ Family, The Only Stage, the Hong Kong Arts Festival, We Draman Group, and Project Roundabout. With a versatile skill set, Wu delivers captivating performances across a wide range of genres from drama and comedy to physical theatre and musicals.
