口助j後,舞蹈手扎的印刷和包裝有了很大改進,發行份數也大增,明題地愈來愈受 舞蹈界所重视。我們相信,只有首先以專業的態度要求自己,方會獲取別人的重视:舞 蹈手扎希望做到不但在外表上更趨完善,在内容上(舞蹈評論)也更超專業化,讓寫評

論的舞評人、被評論的舞者及编舞者、和對舞蹈藝術有興趣的觀眾 ,都能在形體和文字

對話之閒,有所得益。 五月三十日舞蹈聯盟於山頂天池餐廳窣行舞蹈年獎九九的頒獎盛會,當晚舞蹈界冠蓋

云集,熱閙非常。舞蹈年獎在今年第一次窣行,是頒贈予過去一年闪對香港舞蹈有特殊 貢獻的人士,獎項數目视乎當年舞蹈界發生事件有多少及其重要性而定 。舞蹈年獎九九

的獲獎者包括資深編舞家、年青舞員、攝影師、燈光設計師等,從某一層*展示了一九 九入年間香港舞蹈發展的成就。 <舞蹈年獎九九》共有七位獲獎者,包括:

港曾.番触欲■ifr多人喜歡把中港台三地社會比較。三地雖然源

自中國文化一脈,但百年的分隔,政治經驗各自

毋庸否認,雲門舞集的奮鬥事跡,已成爲台涔文化

發展歷程的重要標記:而林懷民的藝術成就,也從 <薪傳》、《九歌》,以至近期的 <流浪者之歌〉等大

型舞作得以髖現。但這是否就可歸結出林懷民及台灣 其他编舞家在舞蹈上的釗造遠超於香港:而這些成就 乃由於台深的藝術家們願意付出更多血淚和汗水?

筆者對刼麗關於香港文化現狀的尖刻批評無從辯 説,事實上也一如所説。不過,發術的創遠能否以付

出的血汗去量度,用咬緊牙根的拼搏態度,或者愛围 愛鄉的熱忱來評比?

正正由於香港人沒有執著、沒有緊持,才做出比台 :弯豐盛得多的舞蹈面貌:也正因爲香港人善於單打獨

鬥,雖未至於武功蓋世,卻自自成系統,卓然成家。 如果套用關麗姻小姐的文字 「台灣有OOO香港無

良久的靜默不動,是舞蹈嗎? 如果與傳統/主流/成規的舞蹈概念相比,〈放風〉

用很簡苹、純粹、抽象的身體動作去呈現一種氣氛、一

囚室中的人一樣,百無聊賴,望穿「秋水」,只得弄些

種情球。不斷重複的動作(repealed actions )加上長時間

玩意來打務時間:外來的浆音「May be I can help you J

的靜默(silence )是這次演出的刻意安排 ,叫觀眾「浸J

眞的能打救他們嗎?勁舞一輪也許只是無意饿的集體發

在常中,讓那感梵慢谩地滲透出來,因此,其宸撼力不

者動也不動地等待,鏡頭(即觀眾)會看著舞者在等待

我倒是很喜歡末段的燈光 ,點點繁盛夜景被不規則

的姿態,時間是真實流動的時間,不是電影(劇場)中

的投影光線罩著,正如舞者逃不過、衝不破自己的心靈

放映(表演)時間。

當然,這樣對觀眾而言,無疑是極大的耐力挑戰 :

及生活框框一樣,叫我恝起夜闌人靜時也曾有遇的這份

情緒。無可奈何,唯有等著瞧吧!

見溫柔迴凝的陽剛味 ,應驗了發評人説中囤大敁的藝術

Single Girl premiered as an ensemble piece in February in Yokohama, Japan, and was then

performed by Ng's troupe at the Tendances Festival

in France last month. In this latest incarnation, it has been pared down to a one-woman show.

It does not make any great technical demands on the dancer but requires a sustained emotional commitment. Yeung, whose elfin face and bobbed hair

bring to mind a Chinese version of Audrey Hepburn, injects just the right mix of pathos and deadpan

humour. As the audience files in, she sits demurely in a

wedding dress, waiting for the groom. A camera

flashes, and she comes to life, realising she has been left at the altar. Then we realise the 'dress' is made of

plastic bags - a mordant comment, perhaps, on the ephemeral nature of modern relationships.

The bags then become all manner of props: a pillow deflating along with her dreams, a harsh brush to scrub away at perceived failures, a diaper as she reverts to

childhood, a baby as she imagines motherhood.
