THE YEAR OF THE DAISY A CELEBRATION OF ASIA Dear Hockaday Families, It is with great enthusiasm that we present this year’s selection of Special Occasions. These one-of-a-kind events are graciously hosted by Hockaday friends and families between October 2018 and May 2019. We have a variety of unique experiences imagined to engage and entertain our entire school community. There is something for everyone with events tailored for students, adults, and families! Prices for these events range from $25 to $200 per person. Members of the Hockaday community will have the opportunity to purchase individual place(s) at an event. Or, if you feel inspired – put a group together to buy the entire occasion. Spaces are limited. The sale is on a first-come, first-served basis and will be open for purchase at the Pre-Sale on Tuesday, October 9, from 7:30 – 9:30 am and from 2:30 – 4:30 pm in Hicks Meeting Room in the Liza Lee Academic Research Center. From Wednesday, October 10 – Wednesday, October 31, the events will be open to purchase online at www.hockaday.org/benefit. All proceeds generated from ticket sales for Special Occasions will exclusively benefit the construction of the new, permanent Ann Graves Child Development Center that serves the children of Hockaday’s faculty and staff. Children from sixweeks-old to age four are cared for while their mothers, fathers, and grandparents are serving The Hockaday School. With our community’s support, a permanent home for the Child Development Center will become a reality and allow Hockaday to continue to attract and retain outstanding faculty and staff. Thank you to all of our Special Occasions event hosts, sponsors, volunteers, and participants who are preparing to celebrate with Hockaday friends old and new. We look forward to seeing you at the Pre-Sale kick-off on Tuesday, October 9! Sincerely,
