2014-15 TICKET CATALOG

SEASON OUTLOOK The 2013-2014 season was exciting for the Hokies as they continued to show growth under fourth-year head coach Dennis Wolff. Tech won 10 of their first 12 games, including home wins over NCAA Tournament teams Florida and Michigan State. The Hokies played well down the ACC stretch, including a hard earned win on the road at #11 North Carolina, their first ever in Chapel Hill. Looking forward to the 2014-15 season, Tech will continue to play in one of the nation’s toughest conferences. With the addition of Elite 8 finalist Louisville, five teams finished in the top 25, including Elite 8 finalist UNC and national runner-up Notre Dame. Cassell Coliseum will host all three teams during league play this season as well as Northwestern in the non-conference as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Returning for the Hokies this year is a strong core of upper and underclassmen, led by sophomore guard Vanessa Panousis, who averaged 12.4 ppg and 4.0 apg and set the school freshman record for three pointers made in a season. Taijah Campbell returns as the team’s leading rebounder and will lock down the post after averaging 5.7 ppg and 6.4 rpg last season. The Hokies have added several new pieces this spring, including five signees who look to have an immediate impact this season. With the returning players and yet another talented recruiting class, the 2014-2015 Hokies will look to continue their growth in returning Virginia Tech Women’s Basketball back to prominence.
