El Caos sigue en Venezuela… Un Triste Panorama
Los Prestamos de China China es el segundo receptor de petróleo venezolano, en parte como forma de pago a una deuda correspondiente que ahora se eleva con un nuevo préstamo de 4.000 millones de dólares que Venezuela pagará con 100.000 barriles de crudo por día. La meta fijada ahora es que para 2016 se duplique el envió de petróleo de Venezuela a China. Se sumaron 38 nuevos acuerdos entre Beijing y Caracas, para un total de 450 convenios bilaterales en los últimos 15 años.

Piden declarar emergencia humanitaria en Venezuela por falta de medicamentos Hospitales y clínicas privadas recientemente demandaron al presidente Nicolás Maduro declarar una “emergencia humanitaria” en el sector, resultado de la falta de insumos y medicamentos y que afecta particularmente al menos 20 especialidades. En Venezuela, país que importa el 90% de los insumos para la salud y donde rige un estricto control de cambios, la crónica escasez de medicamentos y equipos, sobre todo de alta especialidad, se ha agudizado en los últimos meses como resultado de las restricciones del gobierno a la asignación de divisas a las empresas importadoras.
La producción de los tradicionales crudos medianos y livianos venezolanos han caído tremendamente y ahora la estatal PDVSA se ha visto obligada a salir al mercado internacional para adquirirlos, una situación criticada ya que por un lado regala crudo, cuando por el otro hay que salir a comprarlo. El subsidio que Venezuela manda a Cuba se está tornando cada vez más difícil de sostener para el régimen de Nicolás Maduro, no solo por el alto costo monetario, sino por el gradual deterioro en la producción del crudo venezolano, segun los analistas. Venezuela ahora se ve obligada a comprar cantidades significativas de crudo en el exterior para no utilizar los 120,000 barriles de su crudo de mejor calidad que envía a Cuba.

Dos trimestres consecutivos con crecimiento negativo
Brasil, la séptima economía mundial, registró dos trimestres consecutivos de crecimiento negativo, según las cifras oficiales divulgadas el viernes por el Instituto Brasileño de Geografía y Estadística (IBGE, estatal). Esta es la segunda contracción consecutiva de la economía, y por lo tanto Brasil está en lo que los analistas llaman una “recesión técnica”. Inicialmente se había informado que en el primer trimestre del año el PIB había crecido 0.2%, pero luego se determinó que se había contraído en 0.2%. El IBGE dijo que el PIB asciende a 1,270 billones de reales (567,000 millones de dólares). Tras un alza espectacular de 7.5% del PIB en 2010, Brasil creció 2.7% en 2011, uno por ciento en 2012 y 2.5% en 2013. El ministro brasileño de Hacienda, Guido Mantega, aseveró que la economía de Brasil no está en recesión aunque se haya contraído en el segundo trimestre y auguró que el resultado del tercer trimestre será positivo.
Sistema captahuellas venezolano regira´ desde el 30 de Noviembre Los supermercados venezolanos tendrán un operativo desde el 30 de noviembre próximo, el sistema biométrico o de capta huellas dactilares con el cual el Gobierno buscara anular el contrabando de productos de consumo básico y masivo. El sistema biométrico o de capta huellas permitirá que cada venezolano “haga su compra semanal con un rango de compra bastante tolerante y amplio y así evitar que una persona compre hasta 20 veces” más de lo que necesite, sostuvo el funcionario.
Migrantes ahora corren aun mas ´ peligros para subir a La Bestia Las fuerzas federales vigilan ahora las estaciones de trenes para evitar que los migrantes suban a La Bestia, lo que ha forzado a los centroamericanos a internarse en zonas selváticas y boscosas para huir de las autoridades ante el temor de ser detenidos y deportados. En un intento de evitar que más migrantes se suban a La Bestia, las autoridades mexicanas planean incrementar la velocidad del tren de carga. Policías enmascarados y agentes migratorios comenzaron hace aproximadamente dos semanas operativos en Arriaga, donde han llegado a detener a migrantes, incluidos mexicanos. Improvisan campamentos en la sierra, buscan el momento en que La Bestia baje la velocidad para treparla. Decenas de migrantes centroamericanos duermen sobre pedazos de cartón y beben agua de arroyos que se encuentran a su paso. Más de 6 mil migrantes han sido bajados del tren.

Visa para Transferencia de Gerentes o Ejecutivos / L-1A Elizabeth Amaran, ESQ ¿Es usted un gerente o ejecutivo en su país de origen y le gustaría vivir y trabajar en los Estados Unidos? Pues el gobierno de los Estados Unidos le puede extender una visa a usted, su conyugue y sus hijos menores de 21 años para vivir y trabajar en este país. Para obtener esta visa, la empresa extranjera debe demostrar que en realidad existe un negocio y que tiene empleados a los cuales la persona que va a beneficiarse de la visa está supervisando.
En este caso habría que mostrar un organigrama de la compañía en donde se enseñe la cantidad de empleados existentes (mínimo 4) y que el ejecutivo que va a venir a Estados Unidos ha sido un Manager o Jefe de esos empleados por lo menos por un año dentro de los tres años inmediatamente anteriores a la aplicación de la visa. El ejecutivo a ser transferido también debe estar incluido en la nomina, es decir el debe aparecer también como un empleado que ha devengado sueldo por su trabajo de Manager o Gerente por lo menos POR UN AÑO dentro de los últimos tres años antes de aplicar por la visa. La compañía debe mostrar que tiene por lo menos ingresos suficientes para pagar el sueldo de esos empleados. Generalmente un mínimo de 45,000 U.S. dólares para transferir a la empresa en los Estados Unidos, los cuales serán usados para el salario del mismo ejecutivo. La compañía extranjera debe establecer una corporación domestica en los Estados Unidos en donde el ejecutivo a ser transferido aparece como gerente. La corporación debe ser constituida antes de aplicar por la visa. Un Contador Público o un Abogado especializado en Impuestos debe ser la persona encargada de organizar la Compañía sucursal en los Estados Unidos de la manera más aconsejable desde el punto de vista tributario y de responsabilidad para sus socios. Si se puede demostrar todo lo mencionado anteriormente, la visa la otorgan por un año inicial, al final del cual el Ejecutivo y la empresa domestica sucursal tendría que demostrar que la sucursal aquí está operando y que tiene empleados bajo su supervisión, por lo menos dos además del ejecutivo y la empresa extranjera debe seguir operando. Si demuestra esto, le aprueban la renovación por unos dos años adicionales y luego tres años más.
La sucursal que van a abrir aquí no tiene que dedicarse al mismo negocio que tienen en el extranjero, puede tener otra clase de negocio completamente distinto o puede ser el mismo. Lo bueno de esta visa es que es relativamente fácil de conseguir si se tienen los requisitos exigidos por la ley y además le permitiría al ejecutivo obtener su residencia muy rápido ya que al final del primer año si le aprueban la renovación, el puede aplicar por la residencia a través de su compañía siempre y cuando las dos compañías, la extranjera y la sucursal domestica sigan operando como entidades comerciales. Para aplicar por la visa, el ejecutivo puede estar aquí habiendo entrado con otra visa y se hace el cambio desde aquí adentro; o puede estar en el extranjero y venir ya con su visa L-1 que se le tramita desde aquí. Sin embargo para firmar el contrato del local y abrir la cuenta bancaria, el ejecutivo debe o venir o dar un poder de representante a alguien en los Estados Unidos para que hagan esos trámites en nombre de él. Inmigración se demora entre 4 a 6 meses para responder a estas visas, pero hay una opción para el cliente y es de pagar una cuota adicional al Servicio de Inmigración para obtener respuesta en 15 días. Esposos/as califican para la visa L2 y para un permiso de trabajo y los hijos solteros menores de 21 años también califican para la visa L2 pero no se les permite trabajar en los Estados Unidos, si pueden estudiar. El resort vecino, el Diplomat Golf Ventures, LLC ubicado en Hallandale Beach con un campo de golf de 18 hoyos, también fue adquirido por una filial de Thayer por $ 20 millones. Energia de Mexico: 76 años de monopolio estatal llega a su fin El presidente Enrique Peña Nieto firmó en ley un acta para la inversión privada, poniéndole fin a un monopolio estatal de 76 años. Su gobierno hizo un anuncio clave sobre qué áreas de vastas reservas de México estarían abiertas a compañías petroleras extranjeras. A la empresa de energía estatal Pemex se le otorgará el 83% de las reservas conocidas y probables. Pemex espera que la donación pueda ayudar a impulsar la disminución de los niveles de producción. Pero crucialmente, a la compañía sólo se le concedió una quinta parte de los futuros potenciales de las reservas de petróleo y gas en México. El resto será puesto en subasta, a partir del próximo año. Pemex hubiese querido recibir más sin la necesidad de competir.
El escenario está listo para una subasta muy disputada: Además del gas de esquisto, los licitadores estarán compitiendo por un estimado de 27 mil millones de barriles de petróleo que se encuentran en las profundidades del Golfo de México. Gran parte de un lado de la frontera marítima de México no ha sido explorada y no tiene petróleo en producción - un llamativo contraste con el nivel de actividades en aguas estadounidenses. A Pemex se le ha concedido una rebanada del juego de aguas profundas, y tiene la intención de traer socios con experiencia en la perforación de hasta 3.000 metros bajo nivel del mar. Mexico’s Energy: 76-year state monopoly comes to an end President Enrique Pena Nieto signed into law a framework for private investment, ending a 76-year state monopoly. His government made a key announcement about what areas of Mexico’s vast reserves would be open to foreign oil companies. State energy company Pemex is being awarded 83% of known and probable reserves. Pemex hopes the grant can help it boost dwindling production levels. But crucially, the company was only granted one-fifth of Mexico’s future potential oil and gas reserves. The rest will be put up for auction, starting next year. Pemex had wanted to receive more without the need to compete.
The scene is set for a hotly contested auction: In addition to shale gas, bidders will be vying for the estimated 27 billion barrels of oil deep beneath the Gulf of Mexico. Mexico’s side of the maritime border is largely unexplored and has no oil in production -- a striking contrast to the level of activity in US waters. Pemex has been granted a slice of the deepwater game, and intends to bring in partners with expertise in drilling up to 3,000 meters below sea level.One obvious candidate is Exxon Mobil (XOM), the world’s largest public energy company.

Big profits for residential landlords in South Florida

Mom-and-pop landlords are making big profits in South Florida, a new report from real estate website Zillow.com says. Zillow ranks the region as the country’s second-best market for residential landlords who aren’t professional investors. Mom-and-pops in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties earn an average monthly profit of $515 according to this data. Since June 2013, rents in the tri-county area have jumped 5.8 percent, well ahead of the national rate of 2.5 percent. Zillow calculated profits based on the difference between rental income and mortgage payments on a median-priced home. The Seattle-based firm accounted for property and income taxes, maintenance and vacancies.

Hace poco fue reportado que una pareja se desplomo 260 pies en un abismo y murieron al intentar tomarse un selfie en un acantilado en Portugal. Ellos estaban tomándose un Selfie a lo largo de una sima y se cayeron, sus niños de 5 y 6 años de edad presenciaron la caída. Lamentablemente, esta no es la primera vez que alguien ha sufrido lesiones graves al intentar tomarse una foto. Al igual que los mensajes de texto cuando conduce su auto, selfies pueden ser peligrosos para su salud.

Part of Broward’s proposed $800 million bond issue will go towards buying technology for schools, with money also going to school renovations and repairs. Textbooks have also gone digital. That means no more lugging heavy history books to and from school — ninth-graders in Miami-Dade will instead be given tablets. In some Miami-Dade magnet schools, textbooks have been eliminated altogether. In Broward, the district is expanding its “Digital 5” program, which added laptop computers and other digital resources to fifth-grade classrooms in 27 elementary schools last year.

Government pushing for cars that talk to each other The Obama administration said it is taking a first step toward requiring that future cars and light trucks be equipped with technology that enables them to warn each other of potential danger in time to avoid collisions, saying it’s the “next great advance in saving lives.” A research report released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates that the technology could eventually prevent as many as 592,000 left-turn and intersection crashes a year, saving 1,083 lives. The agency said it will begin drafting rules to require the technology in new vehicles. The technology uses a radio signal to continually transmit a vehicle’s position, heading, speed and other information. Similarly equipped cars and trucks would receive the same information, and their computers would alert drivers to an impending collision.

The 2014 Dolphins: Mixing the “New” with “Tradition” By: Alina Amaral
The Dolphins are kicking off the 2014 season with a new logo and general manager, a star first round draft pick in Ja’Wuan James, and the addition of a Dolphin and South Florida tradition, Dan Marino, who is joining the team as a “special advisor.” Although not fully defined Dan Marino’s role will likely include “advising” the quarterbacks in some capacity. Ryan Tannehill, the starting quarterback has shown much promise but also has thrown some un-necessary interceptions. Everyone is waiting to see if this will be his breakout year playing under new offensive coordinator Bill Lazor. Tannehill will be monitored very closely those first games of the season, as Mat Moore the second string quarterback has extensive experience and proven ability to win in the NFL. Many fans and sports analysts feel that Moore could easily move up to the starting position.

Fan expectations are high for the team as Joe Philbin, the head coach, and Ryan Tannehill enter their 3nd year working together. Key additions to this year’s squad include two veterans, offensive lineman Branden Albert and running back Knowshon Moreno. Another player to keep an eye on is second round draft pick wide receiver Jarvis Landry who had a great training camp and may prove to be an exciting playmaker. With controversies behind them, the Phins can now focus on winning, and they will need to start the season fully charged and poised, as they will open against the conference champions New England Patriots on September 7th at 1:00 PM. Remember Your Pets In Septembernational Pet Memorial Day September 14, 2014 The second Sunday in September is National Pet Memorial Day. This is the day that Pet Parents honor their pets from the past and the present. I don’t know about your household but ours consisted of dogs, cats and a bunny who thought he was a cat a CABBIT. We did not know that when a bunny stops eating that it is an emergency. You have exactly one hour to get the bunny to an exotic pet Vet same with a miniature horse. They must be grazing and phasing it out consistently. My Mom remembers all of our birthdays and all the going to Heaven dates. National Pet Memorial Day gives people like my Mom the opportunity to celebrate having known each one of their pets throughout their lifetime and how their unconditional love was and is so priceless. It is a time to celebrate all the turtles, fish, crabs, snakes hamsters, birds, dogs, cats, horses and all unique pets. Even though each time one of my Mom’s pets went to Heaven her heart hurt so much she is thankful she outlived them so that she could take care of them until they departed. The origin of National Pet Memorial Day was established by the International Association of Pet Cemeteries and Cremoratories (IAPC). Hopefully one day soon it will be a true National Day. After all animals lives are used for medical research, police dogs and war heroes. I am happy to see more war dogs being reunited with their human soldiers here in the U.S. This makes my heart melt.
Here are some ways for you to reflect and celebrate all the animals that have come into your life: • Meditate, dream about all the fond memories of your pet (s). • Donate to an animal rescue • Volunteer your time for a pet rescue • Help someone going into the hospital with their pet care • Plant roses on your pets gravesite • Read the Rainbow Bridge poem not by Jimi Hendrix at http://www. legendofrainbowbridge.com/poem.html • Donate pet food and shelter to someone who may become or is homeless I wish for all of you that loving feeling deep inside your heart and soul from one of God’s creatures.
