Late afternoon departure travelling to our Hotel. Here we have the ideal location and Facilities for our exceptional weekend.

SATURDAY

A Super Buffet Breakfast starts your day before we venture into Sussex to join the Bluebell Steam Railway. Here we include a round trip on this famous Southern Railway and bring back the enjoyment of yesteryear.

We then re-join the Coach and travel to the South Coast and the bustling resort of Brighton. As one of the original Seaside Resorts, Brighton has evolved from the past and has now become a Top British Tourist Destination.

With attractions such as The British Airways i360 Observation Platform, ‘The Lanes’, Former Fishermen Cottages, The Royal Pavilion, the Traditional Brighton Pier, the Marina, Sea Life Centre and a full range of Shops, Cafés and Restaurants – There is so much to see and explore here.

We return to the Hotel where tonight you can enjoy Dinner in the Restaurant.

A cooked Sunday Breakfast and then we depart to Brooklands Museum for even more nostalgia and modern History.

Award Winning Brooklands is a surprising place – An original Racing Track and the birthplace of Concorde – The World’s Finest Supersonic Passenger Aircraft with one on display. Here we find Museums of Racing Cars, Aircraft and London Transport, together with many fascinating items of yesteryear – A terrific visit for everyone.

We depart back to the Midlands at around 2pm.

It is here that many Film and Television Productions have used the original settings including - Call the Midwife, Mr Selfridge and Bridgerton.

This afternoon we will be joined by our local guides who will show you the areas used for the filming of this remarkable series. We will also include a delicious full Afternoon Tea.

A hot traditional Breakfast and then we travel to Leeds Castle - ‘The loveliest Castle in the World’. Originally built by the Normans nearly 1000 years ago, it has been a Royal Residence, a Palace to Henry VIII and the Manor of the Saxon Royal Family.

Today it has been lovingly restored and is indeed an integral part of English history.

We depart early afternoon and return to the West Midlands.

SATURDAY

A buffet Breakfast before our departure to the Magnificent Tower of London. A Royal Castle and Fortress full of British History – View the Battlements, the White Tower and of course the Crown Jewels. Protected by the Yeoman Warders or Beefeaters, the Tower is a World Heritage Site.

We then transfer to ‘The Shard’, the tallest building in the UK where we include admission for stunning views.

In the afternoon we join our City Cruises Boat at the Tower Pier for an excellent Tour along the River with Live Commentary and full Afternoon Tea served to your table as you take in those World Famous and Historic Sights.

We return to the Tower Pier and re-join the Coach for our journey back to the Hotel where Dinner is included this evening.

A relaxed Sunday Breakfast. This morning we take you to Kensington Palace – The Royal Residence of Princess Margaret, Diana – Princess of Wales and Queen Victoria. There is always something special to see here with many displays throughout the year.

Set in 300 acres besides the River Thames, the Royal Botanical Gardens have the largest and most diverse collection of plants in the world.

At 9am we depart to Central London and the Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show.

The Show takes place in the grounds of the Royal Chelsea Hospital and runs for just a few days – Saturday being the last day. Entrance is limited to tickets only and we include admission to this exclusive event.

We return from Chelsea at 4pm back to the Hotel. Time to relax before your included Dinner in the Restaurant.

Take your Sunday Breakfast at leisure and why not make use of the Leisure Facilities.

We depart at around 10am for the short journey to Royal Windsor. Always popular with British and International Visitors, Windsor is dominated by the Historic Castle and Great Park.

The River Thames offers Boat Trips, there are Museums and Attractions, big name High Street Shops, Restaurants, Cafés and Tourist Office. We depart at around 2pm.

A Full English Cooked Breakfast starts our day before our fascinating day exploring Wiltshire. Firstly a one hour visit to the rural village of Lacock. Here in its ancient narrow streets, you can see the setting for many Film and TV productions and view the Historic Abbey. We then continue to another ancient destination with a famous Cathedral – Salisbury. Salisbury has many attractions, High Street Shops, Museums and a regular Saturday Market. There is an excellent choice of Restaurants for a tasty Lunch.

Our tour of Wiltshire Wonders continues when we drive through Devizes. Founded in Norman times, this Historic Market Town has over 500 Listed Buildings. It is the home of Titanic Auction House and we will take in the view of the Famous Caen Hill Flight of 29 Canal Locks!

We then make our final stop at the World Heritage Site of Avebury. It is known throughout the World for its Stone Circles – The Largest in Europe, so it is both a tourist attraction and an important religious site. Here we also find Avebury Manor in this charming Wiltshire Village. After a short stop we make our way back to our Hotel where Dinner is included again tonight.

SUNDAY Sunday Breakfast before we depart to the pretty Market Town of Marlborough. The High Street is one of the widest in the UK with 2 Churches, Boutiques and Tea Shops. On the way we pass Marlborough College – The World Famous Boarding School with many well-known former pupils including The Duchess of Cambridge.

We then travel to our final Wiltshire destination – The Museum of the Great Western Railway – ‘Steam’ – Housed in the beautifully restored former Railway Works. Here you will see how thousands of ordinary Men and Women worked in the magic time of Steam Railways. Next door is the Swindon Designer outlet with lots of Shops and places to eat. We return to the Midlands in the Afternoon.

DAY ONE

Morning departure travelling Southwards into North Cornwall to the popular resort of Newquay and then to Fistral Beach where we arrive at the Esplanade or Fistral Beach Hotel. Here we stay for our 4/5 night programme with Freshly Cooked Dinner Menus each Evening.

DURING YOUR STAY

We include an excursion to the lovely Harbour Town of Padstow. This traditional Fishing Town was once served by the Atlantic Coast Express but is now more famous for its Celebrity Chef Restaurants, Cosy Pubs, Cornish Boutiques, Shops and Cafés.

We offer optional excursions along the rugged West Coast and Atlantic Highway to the setting of the Doc Martin Series – The typical Cornish fishing village of ‘Port Wenn’ with steep narrow streets and its charming harbour. We then continue this day with a visit to historic Tintagel – The legendary birthplace of King Arthur.

We also offer a full day to visit both the City of Truro and the picturesque Cornish Holiday resort of St Ives.

FINAL DAY

Breakfast and then we board our Luxury Coach for our early return to the West Midlands.

ESPLANADE HOTEL

The Esplanade Hotel is situated overlooking Fistral Beach. All Bedrooms have Private Facilities. There is a Lounge area, Swimming Pool, Restaurant, Lounge Bar and Reception Services. There is a Passenger Lift but also some stairs to some of the Bedrooms. The Hotel normally provides a couple of evenings of Entertainment and you can walk to the centre of Newquay. The Hotel was totally renovated in 2021.

The Hotel has around 70 recently refurbished Bedrooms all with Private Facilities. There is a Lounge, Bar, Restaurant with superb ocean views and reception services. ITINERARY

DAY ONE

Morning departure southbound into glorious Devon. We make our way to Paignton and The Palace Hotel.

Here we stay for 3 or 4 Nights with sumptuous Dinners and a full English Breakfast each day.

DAY TWO

Situated on the Esplanade opposite the sea, The Palace provides quality facilities including a Leisure Centre with an Indoor Swimming Pool, Lounge, well stocked Bars and friendly staff.

There is normally light entertainment in the Hotel and all bedrooms are tastefully furnished and comfortable.

Paignton’s attractions, Harbour, Town Centre and Zoo are all within easy reach. We also include an excursion to Dawlish and Teignmouth.

DAY ONE

Morning departure travelling to Lancashire and the Port of Heysham to join our Afternoon Ferry to Douglas – Isle of Man.

It’s just a short distance to our Hotel where we base on our 4 Night stay to include Dinner and full English Breakfasts.

DAY TWO

After Breakfast we travel to the World-Famous Laxey Wheel – The largest working water wheel of its kind and a landmark of the Isle of Man.

DAY THREE

DAY FOUR

Enjoy Breakfast and then we depart to join the Isle of Man Steam Railway. Step back in time as we travel to Port Erin – there will be time to pop into the Railway Museum and take in the Coastal views of this lovely town.

We then travel to Cregneash Folk Village used in the filming of ‘Waking Ned’ and to ‘The Sound’ with views of the Calf of Man Island and its marine life.

From here we visit Castletown with its Historic School House and Castle and then we continue to ‘Bungalow’ to join our return electric Railway journey to the top of Snaefell at over 2000 feet above sea level.

We return to our Hotel for a relaxing evening.

DAY FIVE

An early Breakfast before we transfer to join our 08:45am return crossing to Heysham and onwards back to the West Midlands.

We have an Optional Day to Include the Highlights of the area. This includes a land Train tour of the Vineyards, a Wine Tasting, a Cable Car and Chair Lift taking in the German National Monument, a light Lunch and finally a short Boat trip along the Rhine!

After Breakfast, we travel northwards to Hirtshals where we join the Fast-Craft ferry for the exciting crossing to Norway. Dramatic Scenery as we travel to Lake Nisser to the Straand Hotel at Vradal for a 3 Night stay.

SUNDAY

Breakfast and a relaxing day to enjoy the Hotel Facilities including its indoor Swimming Pool and Gardens that sweep down to the Lake and Beach. We then include a 2 Hour Cruise on the Lake in the Veteran 1909 Boat MS Fram, with a scenic cruise between the small islands. Dinner and a showing of ‘The Heroes of Telemark’ in the Hotel.

MONDAY

Today we include a full excursion featuring the magnificent Hardangervidda Plateau – Home to Europe’s largest stock of Reindeer. This is the largest National Park in Norway.

We also visit the Heavy Water Sabotage site at Vemork and the museum that shows the mission to Halt German efforts to build a Nuclear Bomb. We will also call at Norways Largest Stave Church at Heddal (Time Permitting).

TUESDAY

This Morning we leave the Telemark Region. We travel to Brunkenberg and then the Mountain Road to the Sorfjord. A short stop at Odda before we continue along the Western shore of Hardangerfjord to cross by ferry to Kvanndal. We then pass Voss as we travel to our Stalheim Hotel where we stay for another 3 Nights.

WEDNESDAY

Our spectacular Tour today takes us around Sognefjort including 2 short ferry crossings and includes a visit to the Norwegian Glacier Museum and a visit to the Borgund Stave Church – One of the most impressive in the country.

We will also travel through the longest Road Tunnel in the world before stopping at the pretty port of Flam. We then return to our Hotel.

THURSDAY

We include one of the highlights today as we present ‘Norway in a Nutshell’. We transfer to the Port of Gudvangen to board a Fjord Cruise to Flam.

Here we join a fantastic return Railway journey to Myrdal with magical views and waterfalls. Time permitting we will also visit a Folk Museum.

FRIDAY

Departing Stalheim, we make our way through stunning scenery via Noresund and Kroderen to Southern Norway and the Harbour town of Horten. Here we have a comfortable overnight stay including Dinner.

An early start as we travel to Larvik for our 8am crossing to Denmark. We then travel through Denmark into Germany to arrive at our welcoming Hotel – Dinner included.

Montecatini is a historic, very Italian Spa town set in the heart of Tuscany.

TUESDAY - FRIDAY

Enjoy Italy’s leading Spa Resort and join our included excursion to the world-famous Capital of Tuscany –Florence. This excursion is normally operated by Train.

We also include a fantastic day out to Cinque Terre – A World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful parts of Italy. We take you to La Spezia to join our Boat trip to Portovenere and then to Monterosso al Mare. This area is only accessible by Boat or Train and is subject to Weather Conditions. We return to La Spezia by Train to re-join our Coach to travel back to Montecatini.

We also offer an optional excursion to a local Tuscan Winery to try 4 delicious regional wines served with Canapes. This day then continues to the Iconic sight of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Pisa is one of the unique Cities of Tuscany and we arrange a transfer into the centre by a ‘Land Train’.

TRANSFERRING YOUR BOOKING

You can transfer your booking to somebody else but the person must satisfy all the conditions of the holiday and you must inform us either by letter or email no less than 7 days before departure. This transfer will cost £20.00 per person plus reasonable costs to make the transfer. You will remain responsible for ensuring payment before the balance due date. This is in addition to (and does not affect) the separate liability of the transferee to us.

FINANCIAL PROTECTION

Your contract is with Parrys International of Landywood Green, Cheslyn Hay, Walsall, West Midlands, WS6 7QX. When you book a holiday with us, which does not include a flight, the money you pay us for the booking will be protected by Bonded Coach Holidays (BCH) and the Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT), this is a Government approved consumer protection scheme. The scheme will also ensure your repatriation in the event the company becomes insolvent. Our Trading Charter and Booking Conditions set out clearly and simply the responsibility we have to you and in turn, you have with us, when a contract is made.

There is no financial protection if you purchase just transport or accommodation-only from us. We fully comply with the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. The combination of travel services offered to you is a package holiday within the meaning of the Regulations. Therefore, you will benefit from all rights applying to package holidays. Parrys International will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the holiday and providing assistance if you are in difficulty. Your key rights will be in the details of the tour which will be provided prior to booking.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT

When a booking is made, the ‘lead name’ on the booking guarantees that he or she is 18 or over and has the authority and accepts on behalf of the party that the terms of these booking conditions and pays the deposit indicated in the brochure and as confirmed in the pre-contract information. After we receive your booking and all appropriate payments, if the arrangements you wish to book are available, we will send you or your booking agent a confirmation invoice within 14 days. This confirmation will include any special requests we have agreed. All monies paid to your booking agent are held by them on your behalf until we issue our confirmation invoice, thereafter your booking agent holds the money on our behalf. A binding agreement will come into existence between us when we dispatch this invoice to the ‘lead name’ or your booking agent. Please check the confirmation carefully to ensure all the information is correct. This contract is governed by English Law, and the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Single occupancy of rooms, when available, may be subject to a supplementary charge and these will be shown in the brochure, or advised prior to making a booking. You can book by paying a deposit for each person named on the booking but our commitment is always conditional upon the balance being paid as below:

• A deposit of £50.00 per person is required for all British and Continental Tours (Non Refundable).

• A Deposit of £100.00 per person for selected Tours (Non Refundable & Non Transferable).

• Day Excursions must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Supplements for front seats and requested seats should be paid with all deposits.

The balance of the price of your holiday must be paid at least 8 weeks before your departure. If you book within our balance due period, you will need to pay the total holiday cost at the time of booking. If the balance is not paid in time we reserve the right to cancel your holiday, retain your deposit, and apply the cancellation charges set out in the paragraph below. The date of cancellation will normally be the date we receive your written confirmation that you intend to cancel or 15 days after the balance due date, whichever comes first.

Where optional items are purchased as part of the holiday, these are payable on the balance due date except where items, such as theatre tickets, have been specifically purchased for you. In this case the cost will be payable at a separate date notified to you and will not normally be refunded unless we obtain a refund from the supplier we use.

BROCHURE ACCURACY

Although Parrys International make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the brochure information and pricing, regrettably errors do sometimes occur. You must therefore ensure you check the price and all other details of your holiday with us at the time of booking and when you receive our confirmation invoice.

OUR PRICING POLICY

Parrys International endeavour to ensure that the most up to date and correct prices are shown in our brochure. Occasionally, an incorrect price may be shown, due to an error. When we become aware of any such error, we will endeavour to notify you at the time of booking (if we are then aware of the mistake) or as soon as reasonably possible. We reserve the right to cancel the booking if you do not wish to accept the price which is applicable to the holiday. Local Authorities in many towns and cities throughout Europe have introduced new tourist taxes which should be paid directly to the hotel by all guests in person. However, we try to absorb these extra charges and normally these will be paid by our company.

Holiday prices include all travel, hotel accommodation and meals as specified in the holiday description and VAT payable in the UK where applicable. The Price of the holiday will not be subjected to any surcharges except those arising from exchange rate changes, transportation including the price of fuel, air and ferry operator fares and tolls, embarkation or disembarkation fees at terminals, duties and taxes (including the rate of VAT). Even in these cases we will absorb the cost equivalent to the costs of the first 2% of the holiday price. Amounts more than this plus £1 administration fee and Travel Agents commission will be surcharged to you. If this means the total cost of the holiday increases by more than 8% then you are entitled to cancel your holiday and receive a full refund of all monies paid except any insurance premium and amendment charges. We will communicate the options with you either through email or letter, with a reminder if necessary. If you exercise the right to cancel, we must receive written notice within 20 days of the date of the surcharge invoice. The currency exchange rate used in the holiday costings are based on rates as at the publication date of this Charter.

IF YOU CHANGE YOUR BOOKING

If, after our confirmation has been issued, you wish to change to another of our holidays or change departure date, we will do our utmost to make the changes, but we cannot guarantee to do so. However, notification must be received in writing at our offices from the person who made the booking, at least 8 weeks before departure. This must be accompanied by a payment of £20.00 per person to cover our administration costs, plus costs we incur in making the amendment. Alterations cannot be made within 8 weeks of departure and any such request for an alteration will be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and will be subject to the cancellation charges set out in the paragraph below. Some arrangements cannot be changed without paying a cancellation charge of up to 100% of the ticket cost.

IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY

You or any member of your party, may cancel your holiday at any time provided that the cancellation is made by the person who made the booking and is communicated to us in writing via the office who made your original booking. You must pay cancellation charges to cover our administration costs and to compensate for the risk of us not reselling the holiday. Your cancellation will take effect from the date on which we or our agent receive your written confirmation of you cancellation.

You must also return any tickets or vouchers you have received. A reduction in room occupancy may increase the charges for the remaining passengers by the application of supplements for low occupancy of rooms. Where bought in supplies, such as ferries, hotel accommodation etc have been bought in on your behalf, and where the terms and conditions of the supplier are non-refundable, these products will be charged to you at the full retail rate. If this applies, the non-refundable items will be deducted from your holiday costs and the following scale of charges will be applied to the remainder:

You may cancel your holiday without paying any termination fee before the start of the holiday, in the event of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occurring at the place of destination or its immediate vicinity, for instance, if there are serious security problems at the destination which are likely to affect the package.

ALTERATIONS TO YOUR HOLIDAY BY US

We hope that we will not have to make any change to your holiday but, because our holidays are planned many months in advance, we sometimes do need to make minor changes. We reserve the right to do this at any time. We will let you or your booking agent know about any important changes as soon as possible, including the minimum number of passengers required on the trip. If after booking, and before departure, we make a major change to your holiday, you will have the option of withdrawing from the holiday without penalty or transferring to another holiday without charge. In either case, we will pay you compensation according to the scale set out below. A major change includes the time of your departure or return time by more than 12 hours, a change in departure point, location of resort or type of hotel (excluding single overnight hotels on touring packages where the quality of the hotel is comparable), a change in cross channel travel, or specification of the coach. If we tell you about any of these changes after we have confirmed your holiday booking (other than force majeure), you may either:

• accept the new arrangements offered by us; or

• accept a replacement holiday from us of equivalent or similar standard and price (at the date of the change), if we can offer you one; or cancel your holiday with us and receive a full refund of all monies

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Compensation will not be payable if the holiday is cancelled because the number of persons booked is less than the number required, or for events beyond our control, which include: war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity and its consequences, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, health risks and pandemics, unavoidable and unforeseeable technical problems with transport for reasons beyond our control or that of our suppliers: hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, and any other similar events. You are also advised to check with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Advise Unit regularly at www.fco.gov.uk/travel prior to travel.

All holidays operate if the minimum number of participants is met. However, in no case will we cancel your holiday less than four weeks before the scheduled departure date, except where you have failed to pay the final balance or because of force majeure (force majeure means an event which we or the suppliers of the services in question could not foresee or avoid and is therefore beyond our control).

OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU

We accept responsibility for ensuring the holiday which you book with us is supplied as described in our publicity material and the services offered reach a reasonable standard and if you are in difficulty we will assist you. If any part of our holiday contract is not provided as promised, you may terminate the contract without paying a termination fee and we will pay you appropriate compensation if this has affected your enjoyment of your holiday. We will however, not be liable if there are any unforeseeable or unavoidable actions of a third party not connected with our travel services, or there were unavoidable or extraordinary circumstances, or the lack of conformity is due to a traveller in the party.

We accept responsibility for the acts and/or omissions of our employees, agents and suppliers except where they lead to death, injury or illness. Our liability in all cases shall be limited to a maximum of twice the value of the original holiday cost (not including insurance premiums and amendment charges).

Bonded Coach Holidays Group Trading Charter and Booking Conditions

We accept responsibility for death, injury, or illness caused by the negligent acts and/or omissions of our employees or agents together with our suppliers and sub-contractors, servants and/or agents of the same whilst acting within the scope of, or during their employment in the provision of your holiday.

We will accordingly pay to our clients such damages as might have been awarded in such circumstances under English Law. In respect of carriage by air, sea, tunnel and rail and the provision of accommodation our liability in all cases will be limited in the manner provided by the relevant international convention.

If we make any payment to you or any member of your party for death or personal injury or illness, you will be asked to assign to us or our insurers the rights you may have to act against the person or organisation responsible for causing the death, personal injury or illness. This clause does not apply to any separate contracts that you may enter for excursions or activities during or outside of your holiday.

If you or any member of your party suffer death, illness or injury whilst overseas arising out of an activity which does NOT form part of your holiday, we may offer guidance and where legal action is contemplated and you want our assistance, you must obtain our written consent prior to any proceedings (We limit the cost of our assistance to you or your party to £5,000 per party).

If you have a problem during your holiday, please inform your Tour Manager, your Driver or the relevant Supplier/Resort Representative immediately who will endeavour to put things right. If your complaint cannot be completely resolved locally, you must complete a Holiday Report Form which can be obtained by your Driver or local Representative, which you should keep. Our contact number, for unresolved complaints will be our office number on: 01922 414576 (open in normal hours).

If you remain dissatisfied please follow this up within 14 days of your return home by writing to our Customer Services Department, Parrys International, Landywood Green, Cheslyn Hay, Walsall, WS6 7QX. Giving your original booking reference number and all other relevant information, including the reference of the Holiday Report Form.

It is therefore a condition of this contract that you communicate any problem to the supplier of the services in question AND to our representative whilst in resort and obtain a written report form. If you fail to follow this simple procedure, we cannot accept responsibility, as we have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and rectify the problem. Should you wish to pursue the complaint further, BCH/ABTOT have an Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme and full details are available from them. Please note that correspondence received between June and September may take us longer to respond to.

OUR COACHES AND SEATING ARRANGEMENTS

We will always use our reasonable endeavours to provide a coach to the specification in our brochure or advert, but reserve the right to substitute an alternative vehicle should there be unforeseen circumstances. There is a seating plan but in some cases, operational reasons will require a coach with a different configuration. We reserve the right to alter a coach-seating plan and allocate seats other than those you have booked. Single passengers may be required to share a double seat with other single passengers.

When your booking is confirmed, you will be offered the best seats that are available at the time. If you feel that you require two seats, then these must be booked and paid for in advance, at the time of booking. If you fail to do this and it transpires that the seat allocated to you is insufficient for your needs and there is no alternative seating available then you will be refused access to the coach and any payments made will be liable to forfeiture.

Specific seats will not be allocated on coaches operating a feeder service between joining points and main holiday departure points or on coaches that carry out transfers between airports, seaports etc.

Requests for particular seats other than front seats can be made subject to availability:

• For tours up to 2 nights - There are no charges

• For tours 3 to 5 nights - £2.50 per seat

• For tours 6 nights and over - £5.00 per seat

Front Seats may be reserved, subject to availability, at a supplement (per person) of £2.50 for tours of up to two nights duration, £5.00 for tours of three to five nights duration, £10.00 for tours of six to eight nights and £15.00 for tours of nine nights and over.

We do not normally allow Children or Single passengers to occupy front seats.

HOTEL FACILITIES

Some hotel facilities and entertainment may be withdrawn for routine maintenance or be subject to seasonal availability and provision of the facilities cannot be guaranteed. Single occupancy of rooms may be subject to a supplementary charge.

HEALTH & SAFETY

In some foreign countries, standards of infrastructure, safety and hygiene may be lower than those to which we are accustomed in the UK. You should therefore exercise greater care for your own protection. There may be countries that we visit that have special medical requirements for tourists. These regulations are subject to change and our clients are responsible for complying with entry and current health requirements. If you are not sure of the health requirements for the country you are visiting, you are advised to check with your own GP before travelling. You are also advised to refer to the Department of Health leaflet "Health Advice for Travellers".

Some people may be at risk from discomfort or deep vein thrombosis (DVT) if they remain immobile on a journey for a long period. If you are planning to undertake a coach journey of more than three hours, you should consult your doctor, if you have ever had DVT, pulmonary embolism, a family history of clotting conditions, cancer or treatment for cancer, stroke, and heart or lung disease or if you have had major surgery in the past three months.

We reserve the right to refuse any booking in the absence of a doctor's certificate confirming that you are fit to travel. Where we provide comfort stops you are encouraged to walk around. Exercise reduces any discomfort, which may be caused by periods of immobility.

SMOKING

No smoking is allowed on our coaches (including E-Cigarettes).

PETS

We do not allow pets or any other animals, although we accommodate Registered Assistance Dogs, but not on overseas holidays.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS, ITINERARIES, PICK UP POINTS AND PASSPORTS

For all Continental holidays, you will require a British Passport (machine readable) less than 10 years old and valid for at least 6 months after your holiday. If you do not hold a full British Passport or have any doubts about your status as a resident British subject, you must check with the Embassies or Consulates of the Countries to be visited to confirm the Passport or visa requirements when you book. We cannot accept responsibility if passengers are not in possession of the correct travel documents. You cannot take Food Products into the EU, however there are some exceptions for medical reasons, please check the rules on the European Commission Website.

You are responsible for ensuring you are at the correct departure point, at the correct time and with the correct documents. Parrys International reserve the right to modify itineraries to conform with requests from competent authorities both within the UK and abroad.

We are unable to delay departures, particularly when Coaches are meeting Feeder Services, collecting other Passengers and travelling to connect with Channel Crossings.

Excursions which are included in the cost of your booking are detailed on the brochure page and refunds will not be made for excursion not taken. Optional excursions booked and paid for in resort do not form part of your booking. Admission fees to buildings may not be included in the price of the holiday, please check.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

All special needs and requests, if agreed, should be included in the confirmation of the holiday. These cannot be guaranteed except where confirmed as part of our holiday commitment to you and are detailed on your holiday booking confirmation. We are keen to ensure that we plan the arrangements for your holiday so that special needs and requests can be accommodated as far as possible. If you will need assistance, or may be unable to fully enjoy all aspects of your holiday you must tell us in advance so that we can maximise your enjoyment of the holiday. We will need to know if you will need special facilities in the hotel, taking part in the excursions or have difficulty boarding and travelling on the coach or other means of transport.

Before booking your holiday, you should be sure that you and your party are both physically and mentally capable of completing the itinerary. If you need advice or further information either you or your booking agent should contact our Reservations Team. If you will require a special diet please tell us at the time of booking, or as soon as you are medically advised, together with a copy of the diet.

We are pleased to pass on all requests to hotels and agents, however please note that they are not guaranteed. All requests must be made with Parrys International and never with the Hotel direct.

PASSENGERS WITH DISABILITIES

Please Note our tours are not suitable for clients with health conditions or walking difficulties.

We want everyone to enjoy our travel arrangements. We are happy to advise and assist you in choosing a suitable holiday. But, as some of the accommodation and resorts featured may not cater for even minor disabilities, it is important that, when booking, you advise us of any disability, specific need or complex need you may have and any special requirements that will make sure the holiday is suitable. If a passenger requires personal assistance (for example, assistance with feeding, dressing, toileting, mobilising) then this passenger must travel with an able-bodied companion or carer and written confirmation that such assistance will be provided for the entirety of the holiday is required at the time of booking. Coach Drivers/Tour Managers are unable to provide such assistance.

IMPORTANT

You must tell us if you have any existing medical condition, disability or complex need that may affect your holiday or other group members’ enjoyment of it, before you book your holiday. We reserve the right to request a doctor’s certificate confirming the passenger is fit to travel. If, in our reasonable opinion, your chosen holiday is not suitable for your medical condition or disability, we reserve the right to refuse your booking. You are responsible for bringing with you the proper clothing and equipment, which we advise you about in our printed trip information. We want you to enjoy your holiday and will help you select an appropriate trip.

There is very limited availability for wheelchairs. Request for carriage must be made at the time of reservation. We are unable to carry Electric Wheelchairs or Scooters.

PASSENGER BEHAVIOUR

We want all our customers to have a happy and carefree holiday. You are responsible for your behaviour and hygiene and the effect it may have on others. If you or any member of your party is abusive, disruptive or behaves in a way that could cause damage or injury to others or affect their enjoyment of their holiday or which could damage property, we have the right to terminate your contract with us and we will have no further liability or obligation to you.

The coach driver/representative, or authorised official is entitled to refuse you boarding if in their reasonable opinion you are unacceptably under the influence of drink or drugs or you are being violent or disruptive. If you are refused boarding on the outward journey we will regard it as a cancellation by you and we will apply cancellation charges. If on your return journey, we have the right to terminate the contract with you. We ask you to be considerate when using Mobile Devices.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Whilst we no longer arrange travel insurance policies, Travel insurance is compulsory on all European holidays (including Jersey & any tours travelling to the Republic of Ireland). Although not compulsory on UK holidays it is strongly recommended. We advise customers to take out travel insurance to cover medical and repatriation costs, personal injury, loss of baggage and cancellation charges. If you do not have travel insurance cover and require our assistance during your holiday, we reserve the right to reclaim from you any medical repatriation or other expenses which we may incur on your behalf, which would otherwise have been met by an insurer.

Please note that it is your responsibility to be in procession of the correct travel insurance documents when you travel, which should include details of the insurer, the policy number (where applicable) and the name and contact number of the emergency medical assistance service.

LUGGAGE

Please restrict your luggage to a suitcase weighing no more than 18kgs per person. We suggest one medium suitcase per person, plus one small overnight bag. Should you bring over this amount of Luggage, we cannot be held liable should there not be enough room on the Coach. We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to luggage unless through our negligence. Please do not leave valuable items in your suitcase when left on the coach.

It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that luggage is loaded onto all coaches. You must attach issued Luggage Labels to all items.

Any Luggage claim should be pursued with your travel insurance provider.

GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATIONS

Holiday Information

HOW TO BOOK AND CONFIRMATION OF RESERVATIONS

To make a reservation simply telephone our office to check availability or check our Website online. Read our TRADING CHARTER, FINANCIAL STATEMENT, ITINERARY and send your deposit/full payment. No booking can be confirmed until a deposit is paid. Credit or debit card payment can secure a booking immediately.

PAYMENT BY CHEQUE

When making any payment by Cheque, please write the name of the person and the booking reference number on the back of the Cheque. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Parrys International Tours Ltd’. We do NOT accept postdated cheques.

ACCOMMODATION

Individual hotel details show if facilities include air-conditioning and passenger lifts. Certain items in hotels such as saunas and solariums may incur charges. Some hotels have accommodation in separate buildings to the main hotel complex. Many hotels hold functions that may cause extra noise. Unfortunately, this is beyond our control. Due to traffic restrictions some Hotels cannot be accessed by Coach and a short walk maybe involved i.e. Hotel Sole – Riva Del Garda, Hotel Felsenkeller Rüdesheim. In these circumstances we will normally transfer luggage to the Hotel.

FERRY ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation on Overnight Ferries is normally a 2-Berth inside Cabin with Bunk Beds. All Cabins have Private Facilities.

DOUBLE & TRIPLE ROOMS

Requests may be made for a double-bedded room in preference to a twin room. However, requests are forwarded to the hotels and rooms allocated at the hoteliers discretion. Many ‘twin-bedded’ rooms on the continent have the appearance of being a double. There are in fact one or two mattresses and separate duvets.

Triple rooms are limited and normally consist of a double bed and a fold-away bed. We do not advise the reservation of a triple room for three adults. In all Novotel Hotels all rooms have one double bed and one sofa bed.

PORTERAGE

Please note that porterage at hotels is not included. You may however ask your driver for assistance.

MEALS – WHEN INCLUDED

British tours: We normally offer a choice menu on British tours – English Cooked Breakfast is included and Evening Meals are Buffet style or table d’hote with tea or coffee served afterwards unless stated otherwise.

European tours: Breakfast is usually a Continental Buffet, while Dinner is normally a three-course set menu and all drinks including tea and coffee charged as extras.

Some tours require set meal times and individual tables are normally not available. All Hotels request that no items are taken away from the Restaurant.

RESORT DEVELOPMENT

In many resorts improvements and building work take place in the summer months. Changes can happen very quickly and we will try to advise you of work that may take place in your resort destination.

ENTERTAINMENT

Some of our hotels arrange additional entertainment. Where this is part of the package details are given on the respective brochure page. Where it is not specified it may still be available but is at the discretion of the hotel and is not guaranteed. It may be withdrawn if there is a lack of demand or for operational reasons.

EXCURSIONS & FACILITIES

We reserve the right to cancel any optional excursions due to low numbers. Due to regulations governing driving hours it may be necessary to alter the order of excursions or cancel excursions. Optional excursion prices are subject to alteration if costs involved are changed. Please remember that some amenities (e.g. hotel lifts, swimming pools, etc) require servicing and cleaning and may not therefore be available at all times. Some services may be affected by weather conditions and their availability is entirely at the discretion of the provider of the service.

CHILDREN

In our opinion the coach tours featured in our brochure are unsuitable for young children. A reduction maybe applicable to children under 12 and applies when sharing a room with two full fare-paying adults. All child prices are available on request.

PICK UP TIMES

Please note we cannot delay any departure due to late arrivals at pick-up points. Remember there are often long periods of coach travel. Early departures are often required to meet reasonable arrival times. On our 5 day programs, coaches depart early on Friday morning for the return journey often non-stop.

TOUR INFORMATION

Approximately one week prior to your departure you will receive pre-printed luggage labels and a travel ticket confirming your pick up time. These are strictly posted to the lead address only.

PARKING

Limited parking spaces are available at our Landywood Green premises, at a supplement of £8.00 per day. Parking must be pre-booked through our Reservations Office.

JOINING POINTS

It is a firm company policy that passengers are set down at their original joining points only.

FEEDER SERVICES

Feeder services are often used to reduce pick up times. These can be operated by other Tour Coaches or small mini Coaches or even Cars. Please be aware that these may be different vehicles and may not have our normal facilities on board.

COACHES

All our fleet of tour coaches have telephone communication. Seat belts are fitted to all seats and our music is licensed by the Performing Rights Society. We reserve the right to sub-contract coaches at any time and the specification and facilities may differ to that detailed in our Brochure or Website.

When operating low loaded tours it may be necessary to use smaller vehicles.

Please note due to electrical connections under all seats, bags or bulky items should not be stored under seats or on the floor. Storage is available in the overhead lockers – Size restrictions apply.

DRINKS ON-BOARD

Please note for safety reasons hot drinks should not be brought onto Coaches from services or any other outlet. Our own hot drinks fit into our drop down tables.

CCTV

All our Coaches are fitted with CCTV Cameras. These record both images and sound for the added safety and security of our passengers and crew. These can be used for crime prevention and the prosecution of criminals.

FRONT & CENTRE STEPS

Please be aware that the front and centre steps leading to the toilet and exit are quite steep and protrude into the main gangway.  All clients are advised to be extra cautious.

Please do not use Coach Toilets unless on a Motorway journey and is safe to do so and never when standing or on normal roads and or maneuvering.

CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

Parrys International conditions of carriage require that no person may be permitted to drink alcoholic beverages at any time aboard the coach unless served by a member of staff.

Failure to comply with this may result in the clients’ holiday being terminated under the same conditions stated in the section ‘Passenger Behaviour’.

DRIVER AND COURIER

Gratuities are not included for your driver and courier. We feel that you would rather deal with this personally, but for good service we would suggest £2.50 per day from each passenger for each member of your crew.

PERSONAL ITEMS

Please leave any valuables in a safe-deposit box in the hotel, including cash. Such items are not covered by insurance if stolen from hotel bedrooms. We do not accept liability for any personal items left at the hotel or on board our Coaches.

THEATRE TICKET ALLOCATION

Passengers should note that we have no direct control over theatre ticket allocation. Theatre seating cannot be pre-selected or guaranteed. Therefore on odd occasions ticket allocation may require parties to be split in the theatre. Please note that Ticket Face Value may be different to prices paid by the Company.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Gift vouchers can be redeemed at Parrys International Office, Landywood Green, Cheslyn Hay, WS6 7QX. They may be exchanged for goods of equal or higher price than the face value of the voucher on payment of the difference.

Gift vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash. Gift vouchers are valid until December 2023.

If any holiday purchased with a voucher is subsequently exchanged for a holiday of a lower price or refunded, any money owing will be issued in vouchers. Parrys International will not accept liability for lost, stolen or damaged vouchers.

Parrys International reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of vouchers at any time and to take appropriate action, including the cancellation of the voucher, if, in its discretion, it deems such action necessary. This does not affect your legal rights.

BROCHURE INFORMATION

The information contained within our brochure was accurate at the time of going to press. However, we would point out that our company cannot be held responsible for changes made by our agents, our Hotels or new government laws, which may affect the tour itinerary. At certain times of the year, some advertised facilities, attractions and services may not be available.
