A Healthy Colon Runs Itself
he colon needs to be lubricated for evacuation to take place. It must flush and process waste matter around the clock. Dedicated and routine morning intake of 12 – 20+ oz of high quality water is vital for proper colon/ intestinal function. Fluids need to be ingested little by little around the clock, but morning intake is critical. Without question caffeine is one of the worst substances you can ever put in your body. Caffeine is a diuretic, and diuretics divert water away from your colon causing your colon to paralyze. With caffeine present, your entire system crashes to rock solid standstill. Do not ever consume caffeine-bearing drinks. You cannot be at your healthiest. The results of a body deprived of water are obvious: weakness, constipation, sluggish, fatigue, weight gain, increased blood pressure, heart attacks, immune system dysfunction, kidney disorders,
diabetes, aches/pains, bad moods, poor skin, poor sleep, insomnia, allergies and more. Some people wait until their first elimination of the day before they eat anything solid. This is a signal that your digestive tract has caught up on its work. Ideally you should never use something to cause the elimination, as you are masking the problem, and not solving it. This does not mean that there is no application for a good colon formula or herb, but chronic use is never recommended. Which water? Research has shown that ionized water increases the hydration ability 6 times and raises the body’s overall pH while encouraging the elimination process. Recapping, the colon knows when it is ready to start the day and will signal you via elimination. Drink plenty of alkaline, ionized water to enhance this process.

Triple Board Certified Facial Plastic & Reconstructive
Your Natural Best® Natural, by definition means, “nothing artificial, unusual, or unexpected”. These words are not typically thought of as synonymous with cosmetic surgery. Many stereotypes and false impressions exist surrounding cosmetic surgery results. I have changed this perception and developed customized treatment combinations that allow patients to look their best “naturally”. “Your Natural Best” is a unique and individualized treatment combination that I have developed and designed to enhance my patient’s natural features. The combination therapy creates balance, symmetry, and an overall picture of excellent health. It is unique and will mean something different for every person. In some cases, “Your Natural Best” will be a completely non-surgical treatment plan involving skincare, aesthetics, injectables, and laser therapy. In other cases, “Your Natural Best” will be a combination of a surgical, non-surgical, and aesthetic treatments based on individual specific goals. Treatments to Achieve “Your Natural Best” When I meet with a patient for the first time, most often, their main goal is to improve their skin and overall appearance. This is not a surprise since our skin is a direct reflection of our overall health and vitality. We all work towards achieving bright, smooth, and healthy complexions with minimal wrinkling, lines, and sagging. Many of my patients also work hard at staying in shape. When factors beyond our control leave us with fat deposits and sagging skin, it can be disheartening after working so hard to achieve a toned physique. My goal is to help all my patients achieve their goals and look natural. Non-Surgical Combination Therapy My approach to “Your Natural Best” is individual and customized for each person’s specific skin and improvement goals. Some need laser treatments followed by a simple aesthetics regimen. Others require a higher level of treatment to improve their skin. In these situations, non-invasive or minimally invasive laser therapies to blend age or sunspots, reduce pore size, control acne, improve skin
tone and quality is an excellent choice. I will often combine laser therapy with injectables or other minimally invasive options to smooth lines around the mouth, eyes, plump sunken cheeks, and plump lost lip volume. Additional methods that work well for patients and offer long-lasting and natural options are cellular therapy and autologous fat injections. This helps improve scars, lines, wrinkles, and overall tone and quality. Advanced Combination Therapy At some point, the extent of gravitational changes defines when surgery is the only way to accomplish goals. When skin on your face of body is sagging beyond what can be corrected with a laser or other type of therapy, I will use the latest endoscopic treatment or minimally invasive options to restore youth to skin and muscles. Surgical treatments are often followed up with advanced laser treatments to further refine skin and enhance the quality and skin tone. The combinations, timing, and treatments are unique and customized for each individual to provide optimal and natural results. Chernoff Cosmetic Surgeons is one of the largest and most contemporary Cosmetic and Laser Centers in the United States. Dr. Chernoff is involved in several exciting research programs that will expand the treatments available to our patients for face and body rejuvenation. Bicycle Helmets by Tamie Jo Morog As an avid bicycle rider, I cringe when I see children riding bicycles on their driveway, let alone in the street, without helmets. Last year I turned a corner while riding my bicycle. My bicycle flew out from under me, my bicycle clips disengaged from my pedals and I fell and hit my head. I was wearing a helmet. The helmet cracked, due to the trauma. Even though I had the helmet on, I experienced significant head pain for several months. I went often to the massage therapist who used her methods to ease the pain and move the cranial bones back into place. If I would not have had a helmet on, I would have experienced a great deal more pain and maybe a traumatic brain injury. According to a recent publication, every year about 350,000 children under the age of 15 are rushed to hospital emergency rooms with injuries from bicycle wrecks. Many of these injuries are head injuries. These head injuries can cause brain damage and life-long disability. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, a bicycle helmet is estimated to reduce the risk of head injuries by 85%. Children should wear bicycle helmets whenever they are on a bike. This gets them in the habit of wearing bicycle helmets as they mature. Bike helmets are becoming more popular, but they still have a long way to go to
become totally acceptable. Actually, Burley, a leading manufacturer of child bicycle trailers, suggests that a child even wear a helmet when they are in a bicycle trailer. This gets them used to wearing a helmet at a young age. It also protects them if there is an accident while they are riding in the trailer. According to a nationwide survey, 29% of children said that they wear a bike helmet. In a study sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, it was reported that only 15% of children use a helmet. Parents may ask what brand of bicycle helmet they should use. Since February 1999, all helmets have to meet the safety standards issued by the Consumer Products Safety Commission. Just as when fitting an adult’s helmet, the important aspect of wearing a helmet is the fit, not the brand. You do not, however, want to buy a used helmet because just with the helmet that I was wearing, the crack in the helmet did not become apparent for several days after I had the accident. Sometimes fire departments and/or health departments have days when they give out helmets and/or sell helmets at a reduced cost. The cost of the helmet is much less costly than taking your child to the emergency room and/or your child experiencing the headaches and soreness that would come from a concussion or worse.

The HCG Story... The story of HCG began in the Fifties when, after having done research on weight loss for 40 years and research on HCG specifically for twenty years, Dr. Simeons reported that patients taking small amounts of HCG, in conjunction Kathryn Azhar, Owner with a very low calorie and her staff diet, could lose weight safely and quickly without exercise, muscle loss or hunger. But all HCG is not created equal. The SuperVision Weight Loss program starts with pharmaceutical HCG. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of confusion created by products being sold without guidance that call themselves “HCG” but do not contain any in their ingredient list. HCG is one of 67 hormones naturally produced in the human body, so if a product states that it is hormone free, it's not HCG.

Cindy's Story
For years, I've had trouble losing the excess weight that I put on. I've tried several plans and fad diets, only to put the weight back on. I came to Super Vision Weight Loss when my doctor told me that I was pre-diabetic. I found the program easy to follow. i was glad to have the support of the staff through the entire transition. I am so happy with my results and my new lease on life.
Gary's Story
My doctor was on my case about my blood pressure, and I know that the extra weight I was carrying wasn’t helping that situation. My knees hurt and I just wanted to feel better. I gave Super Vision Weight Loss a chance to help me get the weight off. They were really great!! I lost 38 lbs. in 31 days! My girlfriend is thrilled. I travel for a living and I was able to stay true to the diet protocol even on the road. I’m so glad I did this diet with Super Vision Weight Loss. I feel YEARS younger and I know I’ll never have that belly again.
HCG does not produce weight loss by itself. However, in concert with a very specific balanced diet, and our help in avoiding unexpected environmental or behavioral deviations, HCG will allow the body to naturally pull the nutrients and calories needed from stored fat reserves into the blood stream at the rate of 1500 to 4000 calories per day. We are sure that those who follow our protocol WILL lose 20-30 pounds in 40 days. These fantastic results ARE typical with our full service packages. SuperVision Weight Loss program is not your run of the mill “eat less and exercise more” diet for a slow loss of 1 to 2 pounds a week that seems to take the rest of your life. Our protocol tricks Mother Nature a little, maybe, however only natural processes are at work. Per Dr. Simeons, it is safe and so very effective.

Feeling Fat Today? by Mary Ann Wietbrock RN MSN What does feeling fat feel like? Let’s ask Dusty. Dusty states feeling fat is like sludge and feeling run down. She wakes up exhausted and has feelings of being not worthy. As she grows older, her digestion is harder to work through. She is having a war in her head that chips make her happy. When stressed, she will eat sugar, chips, and fast foods. She is addicted to sugar foods and chips. The weight is wearing on her knees and she is afraid she will have a stroke or heart attack like her parents did. Dusty wants control over her life. She wants reasons to not be fat. She has regained 100 pounds and shops in fat lady stores. Dusty grew up in Colorado, a fit state. She now lives in Indiana where the obesity rate is third highest in the country. Dusty states the worst thing in American is being a fat women. She feels ridiculed and discriminated. She has less job opportunities and choices in life. People feel she is lazy and are afraid they will catch it, ‘being fat.” Food is a protection and provides emotional comfort. Dusty feels it puts distance between her and other people. She feels the best day is
spending time on the couch being comfortable in her depressed state. She fills the void in her life with food. She was not taught about fitness and nutrition while growing up. She wants to understand the reasons to not be fat. She wants a brighter future when she wakes up in the morning. I asked her how far she had ever walked. Dusty stated she had not walked more than a mile on the Monon Trail. She did not know what it felt like to walk a distance. We walked 8000 steps on the Cultural Trail downtown. Afterward, she stated she felt great. Dusty states she was not sure how to fix a healthy lean meal with good fats. We discussed how to eat at least 2 ½ cups of vegetables every day. I encouraged her that changes in her lifestyle can make a significant difference in her energy level. Dusty wants to hear success stories of women that make changes that work. I shared stories of how changes in life style have helped women drop their weight, loose inches off their waist, and reduce the medications they take. The women have less fatigue and feel great. Read these success stories at www.cardinalelements.com.

Retrain Your Brain to Think Positive You are so incredibly powerful and you may not even have a clue how to run and manage your own life from this place of power in a way that maximizes that potential! Now I am not blaming you because it probably is the result of how you were raised. You likely did not grow up in an environment that told you that you could be or do anything that you set your mind to. Often times our parents spent more of their time caretaking our safety and judgment skills and less time cheering on our aspirations! As a result, we heard a lot of messages that tell us to be careful, or not to do this or that, or to really evaluate our choices before we moved headway into our aspirations and dreams. Our parents didn't mean to be naysayers, they just wanted to protect us and make sure we were making the right choices. As a coach, I feel that so many of our choices are driven by our intuition. I believe that there are many voices that tug at us about our greatness. If we as children were taught to pay attention to what we fell passionate about we would create futures in which we would more naturally follow our dreams. We have to use our own internal guide and self talk to empower us. Since we didn't have the messages we needed to believe that we could create our own greatness, we typically default into a world of self-doubt. Our brain acts as a super-parent to remind us what could go wrong in life instead of what could go right. Homework Assignment for 24 hours. I would like for you to listen to your own “Inner Voice” and every time you say something negative to yourself, refocus and turn it into a positive. The task is to do this for a full 24 hours.
Your homework may look like this... • You get up in the morning and you tell yourself you're so tired and you hope you make it to work Carol Juergensen Sheets on time. Instead you default to “I am going to maximize my energy potential and leave plenty of time to be ready early enough to get to work in plenty of time!” • You're driving to work and you think to yourself, I will never get that project done today and then you reset your thoughts and you say ‘When I get to work that project is going to flow spontaneously and naturally.” • Your cell phone rings and you look down and you go UGG it's my exhusband. You pick the right time to call him back and you proceed to enter the conversation with grace and integrity. The minute he becomes negative you tell him you have to cut the conversation short but you'll talk to him soon. We can't control other people but we certainly can control our environment when things get negative. This assignment is to show you that you do own the power to create your own life by virtue of the way you see yourself as empowered and filled with lots of resources. You are not a victim to life … you are a victor. This 24 hour experiment is going to show you how easy it is to default to the positive from the negative. And once you have the awareness, you can retrain the brain to unleash your very own power to live the life you deserve.
