Editorial Another issue of Refined Living and the world is still up in arms against the Covid-19 pandemic which grows in strength each time we seem to have the upper hand and to be coming close to winning the battle. Thankfully, the vaccine roll-out is now well underway and the authorities are forecasting herd immunity by mid summer, possibly before. This event would not bring back what we recall to be ″normality″, but will allow us to function under less stress and hopefully operate in safer environment. Even under these extreme conditions, with restrictions highly resembling full lockdown ones, the property market remains very active with the first 2 months of 2021 registering a record number of sales (Promises of Sale) and requests for viewings are still flowing in as a sign of total defiance of the pandemic. At HOQ, we have never let our guard down, but in these heightened alert times, we are even more conscious of the importance to protect ourselves, our buyers and our vendors by focusing on prescribed social distancing, proper sanitizing and covering up (such as wearing face masks and shoe covers) with every person-to-person contact we make.
