Ceramics: Parent & Child Workshop
Songwriting
October 1, 2022 Saturday, 3:30–6:00 PM
October 4–November 1, 2022 Tuesdays, 4:00–5:00 PM
Work side-by-side with your child in this fun handbuilding class. Each parent and child workshop is based on a different theme, and is a great way to get your hands muddy and experience clay. Great for a full family outing! Both Parent and child must be registered to attend this workshop.
Students will learn the basics of songwriting, and composing a unique song in an encouraging environment! Students explore methods in lyric writing and rhyming, how to write down or record their own melody, and get their song ready for the big stage. Prior piano, guitar, singing, or music theory experience is recommended but not completely necessary.

Ceramic Night Out
Ages 21+ Tuition: $75 | Insider Plus $71.25 October 1, 2022 Saturday, 7:00–10:00 PM Try something new with your crew or try something new and meet someone new! Come with ideas to make ceramic bowls, mugs, vessels and more, or get inspired while enjoying conversations and laughs. Tuition includes all materials and firing, plus a glass of wine and snacks will be provided. Must be 21 years of age or older.

Adult Ukulele
Ages 18+ Tuition: $108 | Insider Plus $103 October 5–26, 2022 Wednesdays, 7:00–8:00 PM A multi-week course perfect for students who want to have fun and begin to learn the ukulele. Learning basic chords and strumming techniques, we will focus on playing songs together in time - with optional singing along encouraged! The Ukulele Class is appropriate for beginners. Small classes allow for relaxed, individualized learning.

Playing with Shakespeare
Independent Painting Studio

Whether you are a fan of the Bard or just curious, come experience how fun speaking Shakespeare can be! For both experienced actors and those completely new to Shakespeare, exercises in breath, movement and voice will be introduced as a means to connect with his language. We will play together as a group with his text - NO preparation or prior experience required.
Under the guidance of instructor Marion Buricatu, students will find and enhance their fundamental art skills in drawing and painting. Students may bring a project of their choosing at any stage of the process, and Marion will customize her instruction and offer lessons on elements of art and technique.

In Plays and Pizza, you will read, analyze, act, make new friends, and get some dinner to boot! Get ready to explore characterization, plot twists, your own voice, and so much more! This class will culminate in a staged reading that is open to family and friends.
An Actor Prepares
Ages 16+ Tuition: $144 | Insider Plus $136.80 October 26–November 16, 2022 Wednesdays, 7:00–9:00 PM This 4-class session is designed for adult actors, performers and public speakers, this course will introduce exercises and techniques for preparing the voice, body and mind for rehearsal and performance. We will explore listening and responding as part of an ensemble, how to approach character development through physical expression, and then move into language using Shakespeare’s verse.

Traditional Indian Painting Arts
