eople often get weighed down by the responsibilities of daily life. As a result, their relationships suffer and get placed on the back burner. Romance is important to keep the flames burning. It’s nice to know that your partner does care even if he doesn’t always have time to show it. Being tired and overworked can make us short-tempered even with those we love the most. Sometimes we just don’t pay enough attention to them because our minds are preoccupied with work and worry. But the wonderful thing about romance is that it doesn’t have to be time-consuming. If you have a few moments to spare, you can be romantic.

trying to be romantic. However, you can make up for a lack of creativity with simple spontaneity. Do something fun and special for your significant other on the spur of the moment when she is least expecting it. You don’t have to be especially creative to do something fun. Surprise her at work and take her out to lunch or come home early and prepare dinner. Bring her flowers and a card. If she asks what the occasion is, tell her that just being with her makes every day a special occasion.

You may think that you don’t have a romantic bone in your body, but this is not true. Anyone can be romantic. If you are a loving partner and you appreciate what your partner does for you, then you are well on your way to being romantic. Romance is comprised of love and gratitude. t is well known that exercise improves your physical well being. It helps people to lose weight and strengthens their muscles. It can also improve your mental health. During exercise, chemicals known as endorphins are released into the brain. These endorphins act as the body’s natural pain killers and have an effect that is similar to morphine. In fact the name for endorphins is derived from morphine and the name translates to the phrase: ‘morphine produced naturally in the body’. However, it is not just the release of endorphins during exercise that makes us feel good. Exercise also helps to reduce the levels of cortisol in the body. Cortisol is known as ‘the stress hormone’ and it is important to help reduce cortisol levels in the body to aid relaxation.

in cases of mild depression. Exercise as a treatment helps to reduce anxiety and this can lead to improved self esteem. Mental health professionals have seen the positive impact of exercise on their patients. Patients that exercise regularly feel better about themselves and recover more quickly from their depression.

ecrets you have can includes dreams. Sometimes our dreams may draw us into certain scenarios precisely because we would never act out such experiences in our waking lives. This affords us the opportunity to visit certain regions of our inner life that aren’t touched by any of our normal experiences. For example, you might dream of being sexually involved with someone other than your partner (if you are in a monogamous relationship). This could provoke new and unfamiliar feelings, for the simple fact that the experience is happening outside the bounds of how you would typically allow yourself to act during your waking hours. You could then connect with that feeling and perhaps relate to new dimensions of your real-life relationship thanks to the dream.

may have nothing to do with outer world experiences. These may symbolize the act of reaching new thresholds of consciousness and making contact with repressed – or newly-emerging – aspects of yourself. Oftentimes a deeper level of self-acceptance can lead a dreamer to intimate dream encounters that symbolize the increased intimacy with self that he or she has attained.

hen you think of lingerie, what words come to mind? Do you think sexy, playful, or romantic? Or do you think functional, practical, or necessary? Perhaps you don’t really think about your lingerie as you slip it on, but rather, you simply think about what you’re wearing to work or class and select a bra and panties to match. Gorgeous lingerie, however, can be a crucial part of creating blissful moments throughout your life.

Fortunately for the women of today, lingerie certainly has come a long way from the days when white was the popular color choice and practicality was the key feature. From demi cup bras to French cut panties to teddies to camis to thongs and more, women’s undergarments have entered a new age and instead of plain and ugly, these items have become gorgeous lingerie designed for women of all ages and shapes to wear.

Many women spend countless hours at the hair salon, the nail salon, and the spa. Why shouldn’t they spend just as many hours selecting the perfect lingerie to complement their skin tones, hair color, and figure? Gorgeous lingerie has a purpose in life that is more important than covering those personal features of your bodies that no one but your loved one should see.

exual attraction is a key factor in uniting couples, but what is it that generates the desirable qualities that so many long to pos-

rated because you had nothing in common? It’s called infatuation – that passionate feeling that is frequently exaggerated by fantasy, shrouding the not-so-desirable qualities by optimistically filling in the mysterious gaps.

Sex appeal can be described as a vibe – the look, sound and general aura of a person. It is a standard mix of visual and auditory signals that initially turns heads and causes hearts to pump erratically. So why is it when those standard signals are emulated by some, the outcome is not always favorable?

The problem with infatuation is, the manufactured set of images and scenarios mask a person’s compatibility factor with the desired individual. Eventually they realize this “perfect” person no longer turns them on – even though they continue to exhibit the same visual and auditory signals that they were initially attracted to.

The truth is, looking and acting “sexy” can only get you so far. The genuine art of exhibiting sex appeal and being incessantly desired by the person you long for all boils down to chemistry. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder… Have you ever dated someone that you considered to be so attractive, you couldn’t get them out of your mind? And then upon getting to know that person, the obsession quickly deterio-

aving flawless-looking skin and an even complexion is the ideal for many women. Unfortunately, for most women, flawless skin does not come easily. Many women struggle to control dry, greasy or spot-prone skin, while others battle with uneven skin tone, pigmentation and skin texture. Fortunately, most of these problems can be fixed, or at least improved, with a few small steps. Try these 5 tips for flawless skin and the perfect complexion. Tea Tree Oil One of the most common skin problems affecting the appearance and complexion of skin is unsightly spots. Spots and blackheads are a recurring problem for many people. They can be caused by a variety of factors, including poor diet, acne and certain health conditions. Tea tree oil is one of the most effective treatments for spots and blackheads. Dab a little tea tree oil directly on to the spot and leave to dry. For spot-prone skin, try

using a facial wash containing tea tree oil, as this can help to prevent spots from forming. Mud Masks Regular use of mud masks can make a huge difference to your complexion. Mud masks provide a deep clean for your pores, helping to prevent spots and other skin problems, while also softening and conditioning your skin. Choose mud face masks that contain natural ingredients, wherever possible, and try to avoid those with added perfume or artificial colours.

hen it comes to sex in strange places, some people are able to reel off quite an impressive list of venues, while the rest of us have to do a little embellishing to our one and only “sex in strange places” story (especially if the strangest place we’ve ever had sex is the kitchen floor -- of our own apartment!). For some couples, however, the idea of sex in unusual places adds a certain frisson to their sex life, and whether or not they ever get to realize their fantasy it’s something that can do wonders for their love-making.

so that they have to hurry back and continue their love-making in the comfort of their own home. For others though, they will want to go a little further. While couples might have differing views on the exact venue and location when it comes to sex in a strange place, most are turned on by the chance of getting caught. Getting caught can add a hurried and frantic aspect to a couple’s love-making, and it can also satisfy an exhibitionistic streak they, or one of them possesses: having sex in an unconventional place, one that’s public (or more public than their bedroom), is about risk, chance, and daring.

There are varying degrees of “strange place” when it comes to sex (just as there are varying degrees of “sex” when it comes to strange places!) While one couple might get aroused by the prospect of having sex in an elevator, another couple might see that as pretty ordinary and want to realize their sexual fantasy of making love in the washrooms at their favorite diner. As for the sex, for some couples deep kissing and fondling in a public venue will be enough to get them aroused

t is imperative for me to keep my designs exceptionally sophisticated with an indulgence of romance sprinkled with sensuality. All combined make for an unforgettable adventure.

Victoria’s passion for old movies and magazines has been a part of her entire life. The first movie Victoria remembers is Wuthering Heights. She watched the old movie, starring Lawrence Olivier, with her mother on a 13-inch black-and-white television, and it became a tradition. Each year at the same time,Victoria would join her mother to watch Wuthering Heights. The arts and theater were focal points in Victoria’s mother’s life, so she taught Victoria and her siblings everything she knew about them. Victoria and her mother would watch the women of the silver screen and marvel at their grace and beauty, especially Grace Kelly, Barbara Stanwyck, Audrey Hepburn, and Marlene Dietrich. Victoria was exposed to the music of Aretha Franklin, Barbara Streisand, Christian music, and classical. As the daughter of a Southern woman, she was taught social graces and how to be respectful and kind. Her mother’s famous advice was, “There is never an acceptable reason to be rude.” At night Victoria’s mother would read poetry, and Victoria’s imagination began to flourish. Victoria’s favorite poem was “Rock me to Sleep” written by Elizabeth Akers Allen in the 1800s. It haunted Victoria the first time she heard it. She would beg her mother to read and explain it to her over and over. In boarding school, Victoria had wealthy schoolmates who would return from their European vacations and bring Victoria magazines from around the world. Victoria was known for her insatiable appetite for magazines and fashion. Fast forward to today. Victoria’s early life experiences with her mother and her exposure to many cultures and lifestyles have given her the edge to think outside of normal mundane designs and ideas. She embraces other cultures and countries and brings it all together. The past, present, and future are part of her thought process when Victoria oversees her design team that specializes in creating one-of-a-kind magazines and video skits. Victoria is available for commission work and/or consultation. Hobbies: Victoria is a professional lifestyle model.
