El mismo presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador agradeció al funcionario, a quien dijo “se convirtió en nuestro maestro”. El presidente como el funcionario en su momento se retiraron más de dos semanas, al declararse como positivos al coronavirus, enfermedad que ha dejado miles de muertos en el país. López-Gatell de pronto interrumpió las cifras que venían a la baja en sus contagios por coronavirus, con gráficas sobre incidentes, positividad, como ocupación nacional en camas de hospital y con ventilador para los enfermos. Dijo que, si bien se cierra un ciclo de comunicación, las autoridades sanitarias del país continúan monitoreando y atendiendo la pandemia, en particular, seguirán trabajando en el Programa Nacional de Vacunación contra Covid-19 y su estrategia operativa. Apenas el 15 de junio el país sumaba 230 mil 424 fallecimientos, el cuarto lugar en el mundo, detrás de Estados Unidos, Brasil e India. “La reducción ha sido muy sustancial, estamos como en los momentos iniciales de la epidemia, desde luego con la enorme diferencia muy alentadora de que, en vez de ir a la alza, vamos a la baja”, sostuvo el funcionario. El sitio coronavirus.gob.mx que acumulaba comunicados sobre la pandemia al parecer también está cerrando su información de cifras diarias a la prensa, tal vez como una manera de no asustar a la ciudadanía con los nuevos resultados. El funcionario ha estado disminuyendo sus apariciones en público, en su despedida le llevaron mariachis y un pastel, hasta se conmovió a las lágrimas, de acuerdo a medios informativos. “Doctor Gatell, ¡Viva!”, le lanzaron porras y muchas mujeres se tomaron “selfies” como si fuera una estrella de rock. Desde luego hubo funcionarios que estuvieron en contra del plan de acción que realizaron para combatir el Covid-19. “López-Gatell no actuó como científico, sino como mercenario al servicio del presidente, debiendo atender las más elementales recomendaciones de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) y usar las experiencias de otros países para contener la pandemia”, dijo Verónica Juárez, coordinadora del PRD en la Cámara de Diputados.<

And it is that more than 60% of the population suffers from dermatitis on their hands, due to excessive hygiene to avoid the spread of Covid-19. Skin rash is caused by contact with a certain substance. It is known as contact dermatitis from being exposed to some substances such as antibacterial gel, soaps, cosmetics, fragrances, or poison ivy. However, this hygiene measure should not be stopped, because it is the only way to prevent the hands from being in contact with the virus, which then goes to the face (mouth, nose, and eyes) and contagion occurs. Here are some recommendations to avoid dry skin on your hands: Use moisturizer frequently. It should be applied when the hands are dry and repeated several times a day as necessary. Las estrictas medidas de higiene, como el uso de guantes, el constante lavado de manos y el uso de gel antibacterial, han traído consecuencias en la capa externa de la piel. Estos cuidados suelen lesionar la barrera de protección, que eliminan las grasas naturales, y dan como consecuencias una comezón intensa, resequedad, agrietamiento, pequeñas lesiones y erosiones en la piel que pueden liberar líquidos. Y es que más del 60% de la población padece dermatitis en sus manos, por la excesiva higiene para evitar el contagio del Covid-19. El sarpullido de la piel es ocasionado por el contacto con una sustancia determinada. Se conoce como dermatitis de contacto por estar expuesto a algunas sustancias como gel antibacterial, jabones, cosméticos, fragancias o hiedra venenosa. Sin embargo, no se debe dejar de tomar esta medida de higiene, porque es la única forma de evitar que las manos estén en contacto con el virus, que luego vayan a la cara (boca, nariz y ojos) y se produzca el contagio. Enseguida se mencionan algunas recomendaciones para evitar la resequedad de la piel en las manos: Usar crema hidratante con frecuencia. Se debe aplicar cuando las manos estén secas y repetirlo varias veces al día si es necesario. Procure cremas sin olor, color y que tengan una mayor densidad. Prefiera el lavado de manos con agua y jabón por sobre la aplicación de alcohol gel, ya que este último se evapora rápido y seca mucho las manos. Escoja jabones que tengan un PH más bajo que los otros jabones y respeten el manto lipídico de la piel. Luego de lavar sus manos, enjuáguelas muy bien para evitar que queden restos de jabón en la piel. La alcaldesa de Reynosa, Maki Esther Ortiz Domínguez, informó que el gobierno municipal continúa entregando por medio de paquetería las tarjetas del Programa de Desarrollo Social en Becas Escolares 2021, con un presupuesto de 150 millones de pesos. La entrega a domicilio se realiza para los beneficiarios de las becas municipales en modalidad de deportivas, artísticas, preescolar, primaria y medio superior. La doctora Ortiz Domínguez dijo que los becarios de nivel secundaria y universidad, que no han recibido el plástico bancario, deben acudir a la biblioteca ubicada en la plaza principal Miguel Hidalgo, de lunes a viernes en horario de 8:00 a 16:00 horas. Así mismo, quienes renovaron su beca y cumplieron los trámites en este 2021, en breve recibirán el depósito en la misma tarjeta del año anterior, y los alumnos de nuevo ingreso que concluyeron su trámite y tengan su plástico irán recibiendo el monto correspondiente a cada nivel, indicó. Por seguridad ninguna tarjeta contiene el depósito económico y en domicilio se entrega a la persona que realizó el trámite. And if the fungus is not removed in time, it can invade the brain and other bone regions, even affecting the lungs. Doctors and experts have theorized that the cause of this is due to the low defenses that are had, after the fight against the coronavirus. Desde principios del 2020 a la fecha la población mundial se ha visto en situaciones lamentables ocasionadas por la Covid-19, resultando millones de contagios positivos y muertes. Cuando los casos están disminuyendo con la aplicación de las vacunas, lo que menos se esperaría es otro extraña enfermedad, en un momento en que todos desean salir de sus hogares, sin temor a ser contagiados. En la India, el segundo país más poblado del mundo y también el número dos en contagios, se registraron más de 9 mil casos de pacientes recuperados de una infección inusual denominada “hongo negro”. Se trata de una infección causada por un grupo de hongos llamados mucormicetos, una especie de moho que habita en las paredes, en alimentos como el pan en descomposición, y que puede contagiar al ser humano. Esta afección se conoce como “mucormicosis”, comienza adhiriéndose a las fosas nasales, al aspirar las esporas producidas por el moho o en casos menos presentes, en cortes o heridas en la piel. Causa graves daños, sobre todo a los pacientes más vulnerables con bajas defensas, una diabetes descontrolada o cáncer. Cuando los mucormicetos ingresan al cuerpo, los síntomas con mayor frecuencia son dolor, fiebre, en ocasiones tos, y puede llegar a destruir estructuras faciales. Otros factores notorios son ojos rojos o nariz enrojecida, seguido de secreción nasal negruzca o sanguinolenta, dolor local en el pómulo, entumecimiento o hinchazón facial unilateral, así como decoloración negruzca sobre el puente de la nariz o en el paladar. Según expertos además de alojarse en la nariz, se empieza a notar un crecimiento de una bola de hongos, algo de vellosidad, que puede expandirse cerca del globo ocular, y que puede causar perder este órgano. Y si no se restira el hongo a tiempo puede invadir el cerebro y otras regiones óseas, llegando a afectar incluso los pulmones. Médicos y expertos han teorizado que la causa de esto es por las bajas defensas que se tienen, tras la lucha contra el coronavirus. Los infectados con mucormicosis son tratados con altas dosis de anfotericina B por vía intravenosa, mientras que el tejido infectado y muerto se retira mediante cirugía.<

Asimismo reveló que algunas consecuencias son tener cuadros de confusión, fatiga e insomnio, dolor de cabeza o migraña, deshidratación y cambios en el estado de ánimo. Al final la doctora hizo un llamado a la población a mantenerse hidratada y cuidarse en esta temporada cálida, y en caso de una situación de emergencia, acudir de inmediato al servicio de urgencias, para recibir la atención médica oportuna.<

Añadió que personal del CRI Reynosa, será el encargado de dar seguimiento a los pacientes, así como a los aparatos auditivos que se entregaron a 46 beneficiados.
