You are now equipped with the most innovative protection on the equestrian market. The E-Twist’air airbag is the world’s first electronic airbag designed for horseback riding. This airbag waistcoat has been designed and tested for equestrian disciplines such as show jumping, dressage and eventing.
The E-Twist’Air electronic airbag waistcoat has several parts:
• The inflator: a gas generator
• The RE ZRO® back support: inflator support and back protection
• The In&box: an electronic fall detection device

3. Warning
Under no circumstances can the airbag prevent falls and injuries. It is therefore the user’s responsibility to behave responsibly. Use of the airbag must not encourage the user to take additional risks. Users are solely responsible for their conduct.
The airbag waistcoat should not be worn by pregnant women, people with pacemakers or prostheses such as breast implants or any other type of prosthesis.
To ensure correct use of the airbag, sewing items onto the textile and repairing the airbag are prohibited. These actions could damage the airbag.
The airbag waistcoat has several labels. Cutting the labels off the airbag waistcoat is prohibited. For more information on airbag waistcoat labels, refer to the “Labels” section of this manual. Customer service cannot be provided for your product without your product number.
This airbag waistcoat has been designed and tested only for equestrian disciplines such as show jumping, dressage and eventing. Use of the airbag for any other equestrian discipline is prohibited (western, horse-ball, polo, ponygames, acrobatics, etc).
For your airbag to work properly, immersing it in water is strictly prohibited (washing machine, dry cleaning, hand washing, etc.).
Do not expose your airbag waistcoat to chemicals, hazardous substances or fire, which may damage the product and adversely affect the level of protection.
CAUTION: using the airbag in any way other than recommended may cause it to malfunction, resulting in injury in the event of an incident.
4. Instructions for Use
To use your airbag waistcoat, put on your competition jacket and fasten it completely. Once properly fastened, put the airbag over the competition jacket and close the fastener completely.
To wear the airbag waistcoat under a competition jacket, or any other garment, you MUST check if your garment is compatible with the airbag. To check the compatibility of your airbag product with a garment worn over your airbag, refer to the «Compatibility» section of the IN&MOTION airbag system user manual.
However, if the airbag is worn under a garment, Horse Pilot declines all responsibility for any damage to the garmenttearing, warping or any other form of damage - except for compatible Horse Pilot brand garments. You can find this line of products on our website www.horsepilot.com.

If you are using a cross-country waistcoat or any other protective product such as a chest protector, you must wear your airbag waistcoat over your protective clothing. In this case, your protection should be flexible rather than rigid, to ensure that your airbag waistcoat is used correctly. 6. RE ZRO® Back support
This airbag waistcoat includes a RE ZRO® protective back support. This technology absorbs the energy produced by shock waves during impacts, such as a fall. The back support also supports the airbag inflator.
This protective back support cannot be worn alone and must ONLY be used with the E-Twist’Air airbag waistcoat in which it is sold.
To use the airbag waistcoat correctly, the protective back support must be placed inside the waistcoat.
Never use your airbag without first placing the protective back support inside the waistcoat in the space provided. To do this, refer to the IN&MOTION airbag system user manual.

7. Maintenance
Before carrying out any maintenance, please remove your In&box from the airbag.
The surface of the product can be washed with a damp sponge or running water. You can find details on how to wash under running water in the “Cleaning Your Airbag” section of your IN&MOTION airbag system user manual.
Once your airbag waistcoat has been cleaned, leave it to air dry on a hanger, out of direct sunlight.
If the product becomes dusty, you can clean the airbag zipper using a damp cloth, a dry brush or a small blower.
Prohibited Maintenance:
Do not wash the airbag in a washing machine.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not use a hairdryer.
Do not use bleach or detergent.
Do not iron.
Do not bleach.
Do not dry clean.
Dry away from heat and out of direct sunlight.

8. Storage
For more information on how to store your airbag, refer to the “Storage” section of the IN&MOTION airbag system user manual.
When not in use, your airbag should be stored in its protective cover in a clean, dry place.
We strongly recommend that you do not store your airbag waistcoat in direct sunlight or near a source of heat to avoid damaging its mechanical parts.
The airbag waistcoat must never be twisted or bent during storage, so do not place it under heavy objects that could damage its operation.
The airbag waistcoat must not have any holes, tears or cuts in its textile surface, so do not store it in a place where there is a risk of snagging.
9. Inspection and maintenance
Before each use, check the general condition of your airbag waistcoat, making sure that there are no tears, cuts, holes or snags on its textile surface.
If you notice any cuts, tears or other damage to your airbag, please contact Horse Pilot customer service. You will find the contact details for customer service in the “Contact Us” section of this manual.
To ensure that your airbag waistcoat is working properly and guarantee your safety, an inspection is compulsory after 5 years of use.
Maintenance and inspection of the airbag waistcoat are also compulsory if the product has been inflated 8 times.

When used and maintained correctly, the airbag waistcoat is guaranteed for 2 years from the date of purchase, unless the product is used abnormally by the customer.
