Gabriel Fauré wrote some of the most tuneful music to come out of France. Over seven concerts we examine many aspects of his charming and alluring music. A wonderful group of artists has been assembled for this project including the brilliant Minguet and Navarra String Quartets, singers Anna Grevelius and Andrew Kennedy and the brilliant National Youth Choir of Scotland who will give a performance of Fauré’s unforgettable Requiem in the beautiful surroundings of St John’s Kirk.
