Founded in 2010 and directed by David Milligan and Corrina Hewat of Unusual Suspects fame, The Gordon Duncan Experience is a folk orchestra comprising over 30 Perthshire teenagers who perform the music of the late great Pitlochry piper and composer Gordon Duncan and other contemporary writers whose work is rooted in Scottish traditional music. Ceol Mor is Aberdeen International Youth Festival's trad music big band. It provides playing and creative opportunities for young traditional musicians and also arranges traditional tunes and commissions and performs new music by young composers.
